In ‘Tampa Teen Idol’
Sunday, January 28th, The Tampa Alumnae Chap- ter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (DSTTA), in collaboration with D. E. L. T. A., Inc. presents the 3rd an- nual Tampa Teen Idol.
Fourteen (14) students from local high schools will compete in Tampa Teen Idol singing competition. Students will represent Pepin Academy, Steinbrenner, Bloomingdale, Tampa Bay Technical, Spoto, Jefferson, Middleton, Alonso, Wharton and Blake.
The 1st place winner will walk away with $1,000 and the 2nd place winner will re- ceive $500!
Students are given two minutes to cover a song or sing an original piece. Musi- cal genres include Country, Rap, Gospel, Pop, R&B and Alternative.
Audience votes will deter- mine the winner! Each mem- ber of the audience will be able to vote using their ticket stub and the Tampa Teen Idol Contestant with the most votes will win. Judges will give feedback and deter- mine the winner if there is a

Tampa Teen Idol will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018, 3 p. m. at Jefferson High School, 4401 W. Cy- press St., Tampa (33607). This is a paid event.
