MR. BRYAN ALAN SIMON, SR. ‘BUBBA’
Homegoing Services for Mr. Bryan Alan Simon, Sr., who passed on March 19, 2020, will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., at New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa, FL 33602. Inter- ment will be at Rest Haven Me- morial Park.
Mr. Simon was born on Oc- tober 1, 1983, in Tampa, FL, to the parentage of Annierea Grace and David Simon, Jr. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. “Bubba,” as he is known as, never met a stranger he could strike up a conversation with anyone any- where, and that is one of the many things that made him an all-around good guy.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maxine Cherry, his ma- ternal grandfather, Mr. Joseph Grace, and paternal grandfa- ther, David Simon, Sr.
Bryan leaves to cherish in his awesome memories: his parents, Annierea and David Simon, Jr., his daughter, Trin- ity Simon, her mother, Tiearra Jones; his son, Bryan A. MR. STEVE M. HOLMES
Mr. Steve M. Holmes of Tampa, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, March 28th, at 4 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Reverend Prentiss Davis, officiating. Interment will be held Monday, March 30 at 11 a. m. at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Av- enue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
Mr. Holmes was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Leto High School. He enlisted into the United States Army and served until honorably dis- charged. Mr. Holmes was em- ployed as a Loader with UPS.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Mr. Samuel Holmes and Mrs. Her- mie Holmes; brother, David and Angeletta Holmes; sister, Judie Holton; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Christopher, Angel, Regina, Syreeta, and Shandra; best friend, Gary Adams and wife, Marian, Russell Adams and wife, Karen; godchildren, Ash- ley, Gary, Brittany, Amber, Krys- tal, Jasmin, Tremel, Julian, Jamille, and Jermaine; friends, W. MRS. BETTY JEAN MARLEY
Mrs. Betty Jean Marley of Valrico, Florida, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, March 28th at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606, with Pastor Donald Lott, officiating.
Mrs. Betty Jean Marley was a native of Dunellon, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 48 years. She was a graduate of Bethune-Cookman College and retired from the School District of Hillsborough County as a Teacher.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, David Edwards and Alice Mosley Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Dan Marley; daughter, Alexis Marley; son, Jared Marley; brother, David Edwards; sisters, Sonya Ed- wards Sapp and Quilla Bowens; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Yolanda Y. Johnson of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, March 28th, at 11 a. m. at Hope of Shiloh Community Church, 3910 E. Conover Street, with Reverend James E. Richardson, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Yolanda Y. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. She was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was employed as a Dietary Office Clerk for AdventHealth – Tampa.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Cleve and Kate Russ of Cottondale, FL.

Mr. Mack McKinley Williams, Jr. was a native and lifelong resi- dent of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School. He enlisted into the United States Army and served for two years. Mr. Williams worked many jobs until his health failed and he became disabled.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Mack M. Williams, Sr. and Eddie Mae Harrell Williams of Monticello, FL; brother, Benjamin Williams; son, Nolan Williams; and grandson, Alfonso Johnson, Jr.
