WILSON
MS. MYRNA LYNETTE LASTER BARKER
Ms. Myrna Lynette Laster Barker went from labor to reward when she entered into the joy of eternal life with the Lord on Wednesday March 18, 2020 in Lawrenceville, Georgia at the age of 63, leaving a deeply saddened fam- ily who loved her dearly.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held by invitation only. Family and friends are wel- come to the viewing at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, Florida, on Friday, March 27th from 3 p. m.-7 p. m.
Myrna was the first born of a set of triplet girls on Father’s Day 1956 to the parentage of Rev- erend John Oliver Laster and Eve- lyn Bell Montana Laster. Myrna attended and graduated from Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, FL, where she and her sister, Mar- cia were honored by local newspa- pers for being exceptional in running track. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from American Public University. She was a Mail Carrier for the United Postal Service for over a decade and also Clerk and Acting Supervisor until she resigned to relocate to the Atlanta area.
Myrna Lyn was an author of two published books, “Where is He, My Black Man” and “Deceitful Hearts.” She recently attended Au- thor’s Pitchfest in Beverly Hills, Cal-
   ifornia to pitch one of her books for film production.
Myrna absolutely enjoyed being around children and they loved being around her infectious smile and sweet spirit. She taught Sun- day School for many years in both Florida and Georgia and was often a soloist as well as praise team leader at the Greater Jacksonville Church of God. She loved the Lord; she was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Myrna is predeceased by: her youngest sister, Wanda Laster and her father, Rev. John Oliver Laster.
Myrna is survived by: her chil- dren, John, Wanda, Stephen (Tal- isa), Craig and their father, Bernard Wright; foster daughter, Barbara Turner; her mother, Evelyn Bell Montana Laster; her sisters, Marcia L. Richardson, Marva L. Scott (Bishop Thomas Scott), and Arlene Steward; grandchildren, Angel Sherrer, DeAnthony Somerset, Arieona Somerset, Jada Goins, Keshun Turner, Christian Wright, Carter Turner, Majesty Wright and Abigail Harrison, Elliot Davis (god- son); and cherished by a host of de- voted uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends close, near and far.
In lieu of the current restric- tions from the CDC, we are asking that you use the visitation as an op- portunity to pay your final respect. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

MRS. ELLA MAE McALLISTER
Mrs. Ella Mae McAllister was called home to be with the Lord on the morning of March 19, 2020.
To many she was called Mother, Sister, Friend, Nana, Teacher, but the title she held in highest regard was Beloved Daughter of the Most High God.
Ella Mae Latson McAllister was born in Reddick, Florida, to the parentage of the late Thelma Lee Latson and late James “Buddy” Lat- son on October 20, 1942. She was educated in Marion County Schools and graduated from Fessenden High School. Before retiring and for over 40 years, Ella worked as a Communications Representative with GTE/Verizon.
Not only did Ella have a warm demeanor, she also had a bright smile for everyone she met. She loved sharing with others. Whether it was a word of hope, a comforting prayer, a generous laugh or her magnificent pound cake Ella was a giver. As an Elder at Word of His Grace Christian Fellowship, Ella op- erated with integrity and love. This was routinely demonstrated as she ministered at the nursing home, Consulate Health Care of Brandon and taught the new members class.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James D. McAllister; her sons, James “Bernard” McAllis- ter and James W. Brown; her grandsons, Alonzo M. Milton and Carlos B. Smith; her sister/friend, Clara B. Thomas; her sisters, Beu- lah Thomas and Gwendolyn Majors; and her brother, James Latson, Jr.
Those who will miss her and cherish fond memories include four daughters, Brenda McAllister, Corlis Wheeler, V. Renee (Fred) Lewis and Erica McAllister; two sons, Quinton McAllister and Del- wyn (Cangela) McAllister; many grandchildren, Prince Milton, III, Del-Marshe Milton, Victoria Milton, Quinton McAllister, Jr., Cayden Griffin, Jordan Griffin, Myles McAl- lister, Madison McAllister; one great granddaughter, Abby McAllis- ter; a sister, Pearlie Latson; eight brothers, Eugene (Patsy) Latson, Lewis (JoAnn) Latson, Philip (Sher- rell) Latson, Therone Ray Latson, Jerry (Lexie) Latson, Donald (Joyce) Latson, Robert (Sandy) Lat- son, and Dennis (Miguel) Latson; sisters-in-law, Christine McAllister, Rutha Mae McAllister, Maureen Short, Carrie McAllister, Doris Trawick and Deborah Latson; brother-in-law, Walter McAllister; an adopted granddaughter, Loris Petit-Friere; an adopted great grandson, Nicholas Petit-Friere; also a host of nieces, nephews, sor- rowing relatives and special friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, March 27, 2020 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 3 – 8 p. m.
