Per Spotify, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN and HUMBLE made the cut as some of the streaming net- works most popular workout songs. Spotify has released their most popular workout songs list to coincide with the New Year’s resolution wave.

Sterling K. Brown was an- other Black person that made Golden Globes history on Sun- day night when he took home the award for Best Actor in a Drama TV series.
Brown, who won for his role as Randall in NBC’s “This Is Us,” is the first Black man to win the award in the ceremony’s 75- year history.
In his acceptance speech, Brown thanked his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe before he “r[a]n out of time”, promised his kids to take them to school in the morning, and underscored the importance of intentional representation in Hollywood.
Brown thanked “This is Us” creator Dan Fogelman for crafting an inclusive role specif- ically for a Black man. Saying, “ I appreciate so much about this thing is that I’m being seen for who I am and I’m being appre-

This historic win was Brown’s first Golden Globe. In 2017, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series.

She’s Gotta Have It star DeWanda Wise has landed a major, co-starring role in the upcoming Marvel film, Captain Marvel, which will star Brie Larson as the hero.
She joins Larson, Jude Law and Samuel L. Jack- son as Nick Fury.
It is unknown which role she will play. Speculation has already started amongst fans that she may be Mon- ica Rambeau, a super
heroine now known as Spectrum, who once had the name Captain Marvel as well. In Marvel lore, she's assisted Larson's Capital Marvel, Carol Danvers.
Wise had a breakout year in 2017, with starring roles in WGN America's critically- acclaimed Underground, The Fox event series Shots Fired and most recently, Spike Lee's Netflix revival of She's Gotta Have It as Nola Darling.
