Military Men & Women
Airman Completes Basic Military Training
Airman 1st Class James A. Stewart re- cently completed all necessary requirements and graduated from basic military training. The graduation ceremony took place at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, in San Antonio, Texas.
Airman 1st Class Stewart has completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He also earned four credits toward an Associate in Applied Science Degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Airman 1st Class Stewart is the son of Olga Gaxiola, of Valrico, and brother of Cesar Larios, of Tampa, He is also the brother of Mariana Larios.
Airman 1st Class Stewart graduated from Robinson High School in 2014.
Seaman Prepares Ship For Possible Typhoon
YOKOSUKA, Japan --- Culinary Specialist Seaman Alexis Suarez, of Tampa, is shown tying tables together on the pier of the Navy's only for- ward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Rea- gan (CVN 76), in preparation for a possible typhoon. Reagan expects the storm to appear within the next 24 hours. Ronald Reagan pro- vides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia- Pacific region.
Enjoying Freedom From Fear
Lord, Your Word says, I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4). I seek You this day, believing that You her me, and I pray that You will deliver (name of child) from any fear that threatens to overtake her (him). You said You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Flood her (him) with Your love and wash away all fear and doubt Give her (him) a sense of Your loving presence that far outweighs any fear that would threaten to overtake her (him). Help her (him) to rely on Your power in such a manner that it establishes strong confidence and faith in You.
Fear not, for I am with you’ be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. ISAIAH 41:10
Lord, You have said that There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment (1 John 4:18) I pray that Your perfect love will sur- round (name of child) and give her (him) peace. Wherever there is real danger or good reason to fear give her (him) wisdom, protect her (him) and draw her (him) close to You. Help her (him) not to deny her (his) fears but take them to You in prayer and seek deliverance from them. I pray that as she (he) draws close to You, Your love will penetrate her (his) life and crowd out all fear. Plant Your Word in her (his) heart. Let faith take root in her (his) mind and soul as she (he) grows in Your Word. Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to deliver us form all our fears In Jesus’ name I pray for freedom from fear on behalf of my child this day.
