WILSON
MRS. KELLIE R. ALEXANDER
Mrs. Kellie R. Alexander of Riverview passed at home on May 8th, 2021, while under the caring staff of LifePath Hospice, Purple Team.
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Kellie R. Alexander will be held on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at 2 p. m. at Love First Christian Cen- ter, 12847 Balm Riverview Road, Riverview, Florida, Senior Pastor Dr. Jomo Cousins, with Pastor Dwayne Sanders, Officiating. Mrs. Alexander will be interred at Florida National Cemetery, Bush- nell, Florida on Monday, May 17th, 2021.
Mrs. Alexander leaves to mourn her passing: husband, Dr. Cedric Alexander; two sons, Cameron of Tampa and Isaiah of Winston Salem, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Carson and Emery Alexander of Tampa; sib- lings, Roman Wright (Darren) of Seffner, FL and Keven Reed of Mil- waukee, Wisconsin; and other sor- rowing relatives and friends.
Kellie was born on September 5th, 1967 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and resided there until she relo- cated to Colorado Springs, CO. In Colorado she worked in the retail industry.
Mrs. Alexander was united in holy matrimony to Cedric Alexan- der in 1989 and the couple relo- cated to Melbourne, FL, where she worked for many years in the Banking Industry. The couple, along with their son, Cameron, later moved to Tampa, FL in 1994, where she continued her career in the Banking and Mortgage Indus- tries.
She joined First Baptist Church of Progress Village in 1996 and became actively involved in various ministries. She enjoyed many years of volunteering with the Progress Village Panthers sup- porting the
Youths in the community. She was committed to getting her two sons involved in sports through- out Hillsborough County. She was her happiest while enjoying sports, reading, traveling, movies and while with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her spirit of kindness and find- ing the goodness in all.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, May 14th, 2021 at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 3 – 8 p. m. Due to the current CDC restric- tions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respects. For your convenience and safety, we have extended our visitation hours.

Mr. Frederick Dennard, Sr. of Tampa passed away Wednes- day, May 5, 2021. A Memorial Service will be conducted Satur- day,May15at4p.m.atRay Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Darnell Peeler, officiating. Please follow the CDC Guide- lines. Mask are required.
Mr. Frederick Dennard, Sr., was a native and lifelong resi- dent of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Robinson High School, where he was a Drum- mer in the Band. Mr. Dennard was employed as a Forklift Op- erator at M & B Products. He was a strong believer in God. Some of his favorite things were old school music and sports. He was also a pitcher for the Bel- mont Heights Little League.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Irene Dennard Harris; brother, Jorice Williams Dennard, Sr.; grandparents, un- cles, aunts and other relatives.
He leaves to cherish pre- cious memories: his son, Fred- erick Dennard, Jr.; sisters, Casanthia “Cookie” Mingo (Willie) and Michelle “Shakey” Peterson; brothers, Michael Dennard (Delya), Eddie “Bosco” Harris; step-sisters, Lora Show- ers (Reggie), and Kathy Fuller; aunt, Louise Dennard; brother- in-law, Jerry Brown; a host of nieces, nephews to name a few, Katina, Keyvus (Mary), Jorice, Jr., Kris, Sr., Akia, Lamecha (Greg), Joshala (Dennard), Chris (Beth), Willie, Jr., Porsha, Brittany and Josh, III; a host of cousins to name a few, Georgia (Freemon), Louis, Thomas (De- loris), Jimmy (Doris), Lashawn and Roy (Billie); wife, Jacque- line and friend, Maya. Mr. Tyrone Davis was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, born to Taylor W. Davis, Sr., and Mary E. Hutchins Davis. He was edu- cated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Morgan and Laura Hutchins and Will and Mary Davis; his parents, Taylor W. Davis, Sr., and Mary E. Davis; and a sister, Antoinette Davis; along with several other relatives.
He leaves to cherish pre- cious memories: daughter, Antwanique Davis; son, Ty’Dre Davis; two grandsons, Noah and Zachary Davis; three sis- ters, Cynthia Trussell (Lee Mabrey), Evette Carter, and Dorothy Carter; three brothers, Taylor W. MR. PAUL LESLIE GRANT
Mr. Paul Leslie Grant of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Graveside Funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 14 at 11 a. m. at the Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, FL 34241, with Reverend James Sykes, officiat- ing. Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Mr. Paul Leslie Grant was a na- tive of Panama City, Panama and a resident of Tampa for 30 years. He was educated in the private Seventh-Day Adventist schools of Queens, New York, where he was a graduate of Greater New York Academy. While in high school, Paul was a skilled basketball player and was regarded as one of the top point guard talents in New York City. He competed against numerous legends such as, World B. Free and Earl “The Pearl” Mon- roe.
After graduation, Paul enlisted into the United States Air Force and served his country as a Secu- rity Specialist for Royal Air Force Base, Lakenheath, England and Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, NY until his Honorable Discharge.
After relocating to Tampa, Florida, Mr. Grant was a member of St. James A. M. E. Church of Progress Village and was em- ployed as a Supervisor of Security at the Port of Tampa. Paul made friends everywhere he went, and he loved serving others. He was a staunch believer in God and cher- ished the Word of God. He was a fantastic cook, and enjoyed re- pairing homes, painting, garden- ing and watching his beloved sports - such as his hometown, New York Knicks.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Odin Meredith Grant; and brother, Stephen.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his beloved wife, Selina McKinley-Grant; two sons, Justin Grant and Michael Grant; four daughters, Chelsea Grant, Bre- anna Grant, Leslie Grant and Brit- tany McKinley; and a daughter-in-law, Anika Grant; 12 grandchildren; his loving mother, Gloria Grant; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Ms. Everlena Spivey of Tampa passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021. The visitation will be held Friday, May 14, from 4 to 7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Ms. Everlena Spivey was a na- tive of Carrier, Mississippi and a resident of Tampa for over 40 years. She was educated in the public schools of New Jersey. She was a member of Brighter Star Church of Tampa and was employed at Krystal’s Restau- rant.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Addie Spivey and Randol Spivey; brother, Frank; sister, Sadie; nephew, Darius and her son’s father, Lester.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Nakia of Tampa, FL; siblings, Alice (Mann) of Ft. Lauderhill, Rosemary of Tampa, FL, Liah of Ft.
