RAY WILLIAMS
MRS. OLLIE MAE BRANTON MYERS
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Ollie Mae Branton Myers, who passed on Monday, March 2, 2020, will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11 a. m. at Reve- lation Community Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, 33610, Pastor, Rev. Dr. G. B. Robinson, eulogist, Minister Ebou Howard, officiating. Earthly in- terment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Tampa.
Ollie Mae Branton Myers was born October 27, 1940, to the parentage of the late John Wesley Branton and Annie B. McGee Branton in Tallahassee, Florida. Through her education in Leon County Public Schools, she gradu- ated from East Lincoln High School. After relocating to Tampa, Florida, she met and married the late Elliston Myers, Sr. and be- came widowed at a young age.
Her professing of Christ was exemplified in her love for others and to her family it was uncondi- tional. Every dish she prepared was full of the perfect touch of soul. Major League Baseball was her sport.
Memories of her love and life will forever be cherished by: her children, sons: Andrew Miller and Frank Smith, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL, and Elliston Myers, Jr. and beloved friend, Kimberly Clarke of Tampa; her only daughter, Jessie Mae Dupins of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren: Javon Miller, Christopher Myers, Darius Givens, Elliston Myers, III, Felicia Clarke and James Clarke; great-grand- children: Dasia Givens, Messiah Thompson-Givens, Nicholas Givens and Darius Givens, Jr.; brothers: James Branton and wife, Evangelist Marie of Monti- cello, FL, Rev. Ondra Branton and wife, Letcher of Midway, FL; a dearest sister, Catherine Gaines and husband, Lloyd of Quincy, FL; an aunt: Pinkie Lee Ferrell of Woodville, FL; special nieces and nephews: Geraldine Givens, Aretha McGeathey and husband, Duncan, Cathy Howard and hus- band, Michael and Tempie Myles; Eddie Lee Myles and wife, Angela; and her beloved nephew, Deacon Amos Castillo and wife, Gloria; godchildren: Cameronita Johnson and Ja’Liya Myles; longtime friends: Joyce Arnold and Roberta Walden; and a host of other sor- rowing relatives and friends.
A Wake Service will be held from 6-8 p. m. on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Integrity Funeral Chapel, 3822 E. 7th Ave. Tampa, with family receiving visitation with friends from 7-8 p. m.
All family and friends are re- quested to assemble on Saturday at the church at 10:45 a. m.

MS. CYNTHIA CLARK-JOHNSON
Ms. Cynthia Clark-Johnson, affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Yay-yay,” left this world on the morning of March 7th, 2020, at the age of 69.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Friday, March 13 at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Min- ister Sidney Crespo, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
A beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt leaves be- hind a grieving family. Those left behind include: sons, Leonard Clark and wife, Shawnda and Arthur Clark and wife, Marisol; grandchildren, Anna, Simone, and Arthur, Jr; great grandchil- dren, Aniyah and Aliyah; sister, Ruby; and brother, Charlie. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The entire family is devas- tated by the loss of such a beauti- ful soul and is grieving deeply.
Cynthia is preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Ruby Dugar; and siblings, Thomas, Shirley, Betty, and Delores.
Cynthia graduated from Blake High School. After graduation she attended business school in Kansas City, MO, where she met and married Leonard Clark, Sr., with whom she had two devoted and steadfast sons. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Baptist Church, Kansas City, MO, and Re- Birth Baptist Church, Tampa, FL. Cynthia was a consummate host- ess. She was an avid cook and en- joyed cooking for friends and family.
She enjoyed reading, seeing her favorite performers in con- certs, and spending time with her grandchildren. Her love for music was profound. Some of her fa- vorite artists include: Anita Baker, Kem, Phyllis Hyman, At- lantic Starr, and Frankie Beverly & Maze.
Cynthia was very compassion- ate and provided a safe haven for any family members who needed comfort. Although her death was sudden, she was still able to fill her family with joy. Even through her pain, she was able to make others feel love and comfort. Cyn- thia was a beacon of strength and love for her family, and her loss will be felt through several gener- ations. We are lost without her light.
The remains will repose Thursday, March 12, from 4 - 7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

MS. SHIRLEY RHODES COOPER
Ms. Shirley Rhodes Cooper of Tampa passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020. A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 14 at 10 a. m. at Ray Williams Memo- rial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Rayford Harper, Pastor of First Baptist Church of West Tampa, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Shirley Rhodes Cooper was a native of Sylvester, Georgia born to Mr. A. B. Rhodes and Mrs. Eula Stafford Rhodes. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsbor- ough County and furthered her ed- ucation with Hillsborough Community College.
Shirley was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Tampa. She retired after 30 years of dedicated service mostly in the Law Industry. She began her career with the Department of Health; worked as a Paralegal with the Law Offices of Henry Nobles and Admin Clerk with the State Attorney’s Office.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Carlton Cooper; and siblings, Charles Rhodes, Allen Rhodes, and Gladys Tate.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: her loving son, Alec Muham- mad and wife, Wanda; loving grandchildren, Alyssa Young, Jap- ine Rhodes, Legion Rhodes, Walter Muhammad, Angel Muhammad, Alton Muhammad, Khalid Muham- mad and Yusaf Muhammad; a host of great grandchildren; siblings, K. C. Anderson, Vera Anderson and Fanny Coleman; nieces, Delois Hemmingway, Peggy Williams, Michelle Tate, and Stephanie Tate; nephews, Lorenzo Rhodes, Buddy Tate, Chucky Rhodes, Arenzo Rhodes and Tony Rhodes; a host of cousins, other relatives and special friends, Eugene Anderson, Wanda Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Nobles, Mary Lewis, Mary Gibson, Barbara Cooper, Valerie Johnson, Claudette Harrell and many more.

MR. LOUIS CARR, III
Mr. Louis Carr, III, of Mari- etta, Georgia passed away Wednes- day, February 26, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, March 14th, at 2 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Eric Campbell, officiating. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Louis Carr, III, was a na- tive of Georgetown, South Carolina and resident of Tampa for many years prior to relocating to Mari- etta, GA. He was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School and attended Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church while living in the Tampa Bay area. Mr. Carr was em- ployed as a Labor Tech at IBM Company.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Elizabeth Carr and Reverend Louis Carr, Jr.; and daughter, Ebony Carr.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his fiancée, Belinda McCoy; 7 children, Louis Carr, IV and fi- ancée, Detra Warren, Romain Fletcher and wife, Victoria Fletcher, April Carr and fiance’, Nathaniel Williams, Tyrone Cal- ton, Antonio Carr, Elizabeth Carr, and Sherika Carr; a host of grand- children; 5 sisters, Juanita Miller, Mary Bailey and husband, Rudolph Bailey, Linda Ellis and husband, Patricia Carr, and Diane Ellis; 2 brothers, Henry Ellis and Ronald Ellis; favorite niece, Veron- ica Miller; four nephews, Keith Miller, Kevin Carr, Kevin Carr, Jr., Oscar Olds and wife, Shay Olds; special friends, Wesley Gordon and Joseph Lymon and Dee; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

MS. PAMELA DELORES JAMES
Ms. Pamela Delores James of Odessa, FL, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020.
Funeral services will be con- ducted Saturday, March 14, at 11 a. m. at Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church, 2002 N. Rome Ave., with Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirkland, Pastor, officiat- ing. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Pamela was a native of Hillsborough County and a resi- dent of Tampa for 53 years. She was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County, and fur- thered her education with the Uni- versity of South Florida, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, and Florida State University, where she earned a Master’s de- gree in Social Work. Pamela was a member of the Alpha Chapter Phi Alpha Honor Society and gradu- ated Cum Laude.
She converted at an early age and became a member of Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church under the Pastorate of Reverend Dr. C. T. Kirkland.
Pamela was employed with the State of Florida and the School District of Hillsborough County.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Delores June James; brother, Alvin James; grandpar- ents, Willie Mae Leonard, James Tate, Fannie Mae James and An- drew James; aunts, Violet Camp- bell, Ruth Carswell, Ruby Smith, Betty Lou Stanley, Nettie Faye James, Marjorie Archer, Helen Jones, Ernestine James, and Bar- bara Turner; and uncles, Albert Turner, Willie B. James, Robert Lee James, Melvin James, and An- drew James.
