   WILSON
MS. VERONICA EVETTE DAVIS
Ms. Veronica Evette Davis of Tampa, Florida, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, March 14th at 2 p. m. at Wil- son Funeral Home Chapel, 3000 North 29th Street, Elder Walter Niles, officiating, and eulogist, Pastor Pierre Francois. Interment will follow at the Orange Hill Cemetery.
Veronica was affectionately known as Evette by those who knew her best. She was born Jan- uary 8, 1960 in Tampa, Florida. She was a lifelong resident of Tampa. Veronica was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, class of 1978. Veronica enjoyed 20 years as a childcare provider at Wright’s Wonderland.
Veronica was preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. Daniel and Mattie Davis; siblings: Jimmy Lee, Henry, Rita, Nathaniel, Char- lene, Victor, Daniel, Jr., Moses, and Lucille Davis.
Cherishing her beautiful memories are: her significant other, Michael Wise; 1 daughter, Cimone Watson (Terrance); 1 son, Leroy Howard (Kira); 8 grandchil- dren, Lavonte Vickers, Amani, Ahman, Leroy, Jr., Jabari, Ja’siler Howard, Montrez and Takira Wat- son. She also leaves to mourn her passing: 2 sisters, CatherineNor- ton (Clarence) and Sarah Davis Hepburn; 3 brothers, Gerald Davis (Darlene), Anthony Davis and Jeffrey Davis; 3 sisters-in-law, Patricia, Darlene Davis of Tampa, Florida and Theresa Davis of Lakeland, Florida; 1 aunt, Shirley Williams of Tampa; 14 nieces, Kathy Hepburn, Kesha Rose, Meka Davis, Shonda Lockwood (Derricus), Erica Francois (Pierre), Ebony, Ashely, Nicole, Cecilia, Vicknesia, Jashon Davis, Tameka Gant (Chris), Utara King; 13 nephews, Waymon Rose, Ger- ald Davis (Jen), Shawn Davis (Shemeka), Daniel Davis, Jr. (Penny), Jeffrey, Jr., Maurice, Antwan, Aaron, Gary, Anthony, Jr., James Dennis (Whitney), Rashad and Victor Davis, Jr.; spe- cial cousins, Ronnie Harris of At- lanta, GA, Maria Harris, Cynthia Elliott of Columbus, Ohio and Chris and Kim Davis of Tallahas- see, Florida; godsisters, Carrie Hodges, Elaine Darby and Jewel Pierson; devoted friends, Shirley Strange, Gaynell Johnson, Otha Evans, Wendy Mullens, Patricia Wingo; and a host of other rela- tives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, March 13, 2020 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home.

MR. JIMMIE LEE SIMS
Funeral Service for Mr. Jimmie Lee Sims, who passed away on March 3, 2020, will be held on Sat- urday, March 14, 2020, at 2 p. m. at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, 301 Lakewood Drive, Brandon, Florida, with Pastor Curtis A. Swafford, offi- ciating.
Mr. Jimmie Lee Sims was born on April 6, 1957, to the parentage of Ernest Sims and Lottie Mae Sims in Crawfordville, Arkansas. Jimmie loved animals of all kinds from horses to birds to dogs.
Mr. Jimmie Lee Sims was em- ployed as a Tire Repair worker and was an experienced worker with 18 wheeler trucks tire repair, carpen- try, installing tiles and carpet.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by: his father, Ernest Sims; brother, Ernest Sims, Jr.; sister, Maggie Har- ris.
He is survived by: mother, Lottie Mae Sims, Valrico, Florida; wife, Elizabeth Hicks-Sims, Apopka, FL; 5 children, Tekeshia Lavonda Sims, Cahokia, Illinois, Jimmie Lee Sims, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Clifton Antonio Gholson, West Mem- phis, Arkansas, Tommy “Lee” Ghol- son, West Memphis, Arkansas, and Lashonta Sallett, Apopka, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 3 sisters, Diana Sims, St. Petersburg, FL, Ella Sims, Tampa, and Jennifer Sims, Valrico, FL; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

MR. CHARLES R. WILLIAMS
Mr. Charles R. Williams was born August 10, 1945 in Tampa Florida, the son of the late Charlie and Queen Williams.
He was predeceased by: sister, Flossie Weeks, Tampa.
Left to mourn are: sister, Dorothy McDowell, Rochester, NY; brother, Albert Williams, Tampa Florida; host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends; a long- time companion, Beverly Council, and friends, James Carnegie and James Ivory.
Private cremation services were held. A Memorial Ceremonby will be held at a later date in Au- gust, 2020.
