Shooting Leaves Two Dead, One Hospitalized
NFL Player Facing DUI Charge
    Man Shot In Apartment Complex Parking Lot Dies
 Police are currently inves- tigating a sh00ting that left a man dead. There have been no arrests in the case.
According to Tampa Po- lice, the shooting took place shortly after 10 p.m., Wednesday. When officers arrived at the Scruggs Manor Apartment Complex, 11201 N. 22nd Street, they found an adult male injured by gun- fire.

   Detectives are investigat- ing a shooting that left two people dead and another hospitalized. The shooting took place Monday after- noon in the 8500 block of N. Orleans Avenue.
According to Tampa Po- lice, when officers arrived, they discovered three people had been shot.
The first victim, an adult female in her 50s, and the second victim, an adult man in his 50s, were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. The woman died as a result of her injuries after reaching the hospital.
The suspect, an adult man in his 60s, died at the scene near the roadway.
During the preliminary investigation, detectives be- lieve the suspect went to the residence shot the man, who was working in the yard, first. He then shot the woman who was outside of the home.
At that point, a woman who was outside, returned gunfire towards the gunman, shooting him. He died as a result of his injuries.
Police said the first vic- tim, the suspect, and the wit- ness are related. The second victim is a neighbor. He was listed in stable condition.
Police said the names of the victims will not be re- leased and they do not be- lieve it was a random act.

A member of the National Football League was arrested Wednesday and charged with DUI. The arrest took place near Howard Avenue and I- 275.
Tampa Police officers were on patrol when they observed a Dodge Charger without the headlights on. The officers pulled the vehicle, which was being driven by Ventell Bryant, exhibiting signs of impartment. Bryant, 23, re- portedly admitted to drinking several margaritas.
He was given a roadside field sobriety test and was ar- rested for DUI after exhibiting further clues of impairment.
Bryant submitted to a breath test at Central Booking with the results of .102 and .99 BAC.
Bryant is a wide receiver with the Dallas Cowboys foot- ball team.
 The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in connection with the robbery of a jewelry store. The arrests were possible be- cause of the help of good Samaritans.
According to police, shortly after 8 p.m. on March 7, Willie James Harvey Junior, 25, and Kawaun Martez Thompson, 23, en- tered the Jared Galleria of Jewelry, 8104 Citrus Park Drive in Citrus Park. Thomp- son allegedly pulled a sledge- hammer from his sweatpants and handed it to Harvey. Thompson then removed a canister of pepper spray and pointed it at a store employee.
Both suspects demanded that all store employees get on the ground as Harvey began shattering the glass of the jew- elry display cases. The sus- pects gathered approximately $100,000 worth of jewelry into a blue pillowcase before
running out of the store. They fled the scene in a rented black four-door Hyundai Elantra.
Witnesses, who had just left the business prior to the robbery, saw the robbery take place as the sat in their vehi- cle. When the men came out, the witnesses followed them.
One of the witnesses called 911 and continued driving be- hind the suspects until deputies were able to locate and stop the suspects’ vehicle at the Wilsky Professional Park business plaza. The stolen jewelry was located in- side the vehicle.
Harvey was arrested without incident and Thompson was taken into custody after a short foot pur- suit. Both suspects are facing charges of robbery with a weapon and criminal mis- chief.
Thompson is facing an additional charge of resisting an officer without violence.
