Horoscopes
If Your Birthday Is Today: You are energetic, motivated and driven. You fight for what you believe in because challenges attract you. Great news! You are now heading into one of the most powerful years of your life — a time of accumulation. Whatever you have done in the past will now ripen because it’s your time of fruition. This is a good year to buy and sell.
Aries (March 21-April 19): Be careful today because bosses and parents are noticing you. In fact, everyone sees you. However, because most of this day is a Moon Alert, crazy things might happen. Yeah, you might wish you were not so conspicuous. (Get my drift?)
Taurus (April 20-May 20): You want to do something different today to shake things up a little. You want to travel or enjoy a change of scenery. Ironically, your wish might be granted because today is full of unexpected detours, surprises and delays — plus shortages. Definitely shortages. Hmmm, be careful what you wish for.
Gemini (May 21-June 20): Even though your focus is on shared property, taxes, debt and anything that you own jointly with others (in- cluding inheritances and wills), this is a poor day for major financially related decisions. Just fill your databank. Decide nothing. Not today.
Cancer (June 21-July 22): Postpone important discussions with partners and close friends. It’s OK to get information and spitball some ideas, but do not agree to anything important. Do not volunteer for any- thing. Try to stay on the sidelines and listen. Later, you’ll be glad you did.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Accept the fact that today will be full of little errors, delays, shortages and inefficiencies. It won’t be big stuff, but it might be frustrating. Therefore, lower your expectations. Slow down and cut yourself some slack. Cut others some slack as well. “You got it, Pontiac!”
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): While fuzzy thinking and delays might frustrate many other signs, today is a very creative day for you. You’re in the zone! Make the most of this if you work in show business, sports, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry or with children.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Resist the urge to promise too much to a family member today, especially your mother. In a way, you want to stay under the radar and cocoon at home if possible. This is just fine. But do not agree to anything important. Do not borrow or lend money.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): This is a mildly accident-prone day, which means you should keep your eyes open. Pay attention to every- thing you say and do. Just listen. Do your homework. But do not offer advice, suggestions or your efforts to anyone. Not today. Wait until to- morrow.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): This is a poor day to shop for anything other than gas or food. Most especially, resist spontaneous, impulse buying — the worst! Keep your money in your pocket. In addi- tion, avoid important financial negotiations today.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Today the Moon is in your sign but it is a Moon Alert for most of the day, which means things are a bit wonky. You can’t really depend on anything. Except shortages. This is also why you feel a bit aimless and without direction. It’s not you; it’s the spores in the air. Relax.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Today is a poor day for important decisions, important purchases and initiating anything monumental. However, it is a good day for creative ideas because although everything is a bit goofy, you find it easy to think outside of the box.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): You might enjoy a frank heart-to- heart discussion with a friend today, especially a female acquaintance. You might even think about modifying future goals. Don’t do this. Not today. Wait until tomorrow to run your ideas up the flagpole. That’s when it will be worthwhile to find out if anyone salutes. “Ten-shun!”
