MRS. ETHEREDA HOOD JOHNSON
Mrs. Ethereda Hood John- son, 89 of Tampa, FL passed away March 17, 2017. She is survived by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held March 26, 2017 from 5-6 p. m. with a Homegoing Celebration to begin at 6 p. m. at Mt Calvary S. D. A. Church, 3920 E. Os- borne, Ave., Pastor Curtis Crider, officiating. Interment will be held Monday, March 27, 2017, at Florida National Ceme- tery, 6502 S. W. Bushnell, FL, where she will join her late hus- band, James D. Johnson.
She will be remembered as the lady that always invited everyone to her church and gave you church literature (tracks). Her joyful spirit, lovely smile and wonderful per- sonality will endure in our hearts forever.

MS. CHINITA VANESSA BOSTICK
A homegoing celebration for Ms. Chinita Vanessa Bostick of Tampa, FL, who passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 will be held Saturday, March 25th, 11 a. m. at St. John Progressive M. B. Church, 2505 E. Chipco St., Rev. Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Sr., pastor, Rev. David Jones, offici- ating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Chinita Vanessa Bostick was born on February 11, 1974 in Hol- lywood, FL. She was the youngest daughter of her loving parents, Ms. Sandra Bostick Mills and the late Mr. Frederick Greene Bo- stick.
Chinita was educated in the public schools of Tampa, com- pleting her primary education at Hillsborough High School in 1992. Chinita received her Asso- ciate’s degree in Criminal Justice from Southwest Florida College. Chinita started her career with the Hillsborough County School System in 2002, starting at Grady Elementary School, then she worked at Kingswood Ele- mentary School prior to joining the Williams Middle Magnet School family until her untimely passing.
Chinita loved to dance and was always the life of the party. Her smile was contagious. She loved her family and showed it every chance she got. Chinita’s favorite pastime was watching her son, LeVondre excel on the basketball court.
Chinita always allowed Chenavia to keep her looking trendy with her love of beauty and fashion. In her free time, she spent time traveling and vaca- tioning with her sister/friends Kim, LeTonya, Wonder, and Cheryl.
Chinita was preceded in death by: her father, Frederick Greene Bostick; paternal grand- father, William Bostick, Sr; ma- ternal grandparents, Isom and Ethel Wesley; uncle, Sylvester Wesley, Sr.; aunt, Ella Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories and her lov- ing and outgoing spirit: daugh- ter, Chenavia Denae Bostick; son, LeVondre DaShawn Carter; mother, Sandra Mills; paternal grandmother, Addie Bostick; brothers Terrance Tisdale and Keith Paramore; sisters, Shelia Downing, Charlotte Stanford and Tonia Tisdale; uncles, Howard (Betty) Bostick, William (Annette) Bostick, Jr., of Tampa, Robert Ray Wesley of Holly- wood, FL and Michael Wesley, of Palm Beach, FL; aunts, Lovell Bradwell, Irma Wesley, Anita Farrington of Olympia, WA, and Lebatrice Sobers; 5 nieces and 5 nephews, 3 great nieces and 8 great nephews, all of Tampa; a host of cousins; six devoted friends, Kim Young, LeTonya

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home Friday, March 24, from 5 p. m. - 8 p. m. The family will receive friends from 6 p. m. – 7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MRS. BARBARA JEAN CLARDY
A homegoing celebration for Mrs. Barbara Jean Clardy of Tampa, FL who passed away on March 18, 2017, will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 2 p. m. at New Hope M. B. Church, 3003 E. Ellicott Street, Rev. Larry J. Mouton, Jr., pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Barbara Jean Clardy was born October 4, 1941 in Day- tona Beach, FL. She was the daughter of the late Idella and Rev. Seymore. Barbara was very active in the church and commu- nity, both spiritually and physi- cally. She worked tirelessly sharing her convictions of faith, love and compassion to all who knew her. She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as President of the Seasoned Citi- zens Ministry, President of the Day Mission Ministry as well as being an intricate part of the Usher Board #2, Sunday Church- School-COED Class, Pastor’s Aide Ministry and was a former member of the Adult Choir.
She was often invited to par- ticipate in special activities at other local churches. When she wasn’t serving in ministry, Bar- bara enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to the YMCA with friends; to know her was to simply to LOVE her!
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Alphonso Clardy, Sr.; and brother, Ben Cross.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: her son, Alphonso Clardy, Jr. (Shavette); daughter, Linda McDaniel (Jimmy); grandchildren, An- thony, Jermaine, Jimmy, Jr., An- tone, Aniya and Avion; nephews, Bernard Butler, Kurt Cross, Dar- rell Cross, Kevin Houston and Michael Houston; nieces, Tanya Cross, Bridgette Taylor, Michele Houston, Amelia Butler; special cousin, Curtis Foster of Miami, FL; a host of grandnieces, grand- nephews, extended family and friends. The visitation will be held at New Hope M. B. Church on Friday, March 24, from 5 to 7 p. m. the family will receive friends from 5:30 p. m. to 7 p. m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Satur- day for the service.

MRS. MILDRED B. CARTER-EVANS
A Catholic homegoing Funeral Mass for Mrs. Mildred B. Carter- Evans of Tampa, who passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2 p. m., at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Ne- braska Ave., Father Hugh Chikawe, Pastor, Father Edwin Palka, of Epiphany Of Our Lord and Savior Catholic Church, offi- ciating. The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Mildred B. Carter-Evans was born November 1, 1939 in Mont- gomery, AL to the late James and Alberta Blake. At an early age, the family moved to Tampa, FL. She graduated from Middleton Senior High School, class of 1957. After graduating from Alabama State University, she moved to Ft. Myers, where she taught school for many years. Later, she de- cided to move back to Tampa to be closer to her parents, where she taught school for approximately 40 years.
After retirement, she met and married the love of her life, Mr. Mack Evans. They traveled all over the world to Egypt, London, Germany, Belgium, Paris, Rome, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and her favorite place was Las Vegas, Nevada. She truly enjoyed her retirement, she loved people and she loved to talk about her church, she had a wonderful life for 77 years.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her hus- band, Mack Evans; brothers-in-law, Nathaniel Henry and Gettis Henry; sisters-in-law, Stella Neal, Linda Henry and Annie Lee Grace; aunt, Mary Alice Harris; uncles, Sam and Calvin Williams; nieces, Jaleesa Thomp- son, Evette Tim and Sheryl Thompson; nephews, Martin and Jerrell Thompson; special friends, Mary Lee and Margaret Brookins; godson, Jezin Scrivens; classmates and friends, Aileen Wilford, Betty Gatlin, Betty Kin- sey, Ruby French, Molbert Scrivens, LeJoan Franklin and Ernestine Glenn; a host of other friends.

A homegoing celebration for Mr. Donovan Rattigan of Tampa, FL who passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, will be held Sat- urday, March 25, at 11 a. m. at The Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Apostle Mark T. Jones, pastor, with Rev. Ala Faye Vickers, pastor of Holy Out- reach for Christ Church, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Donovan was born October 7, 1967. He was affiliated with Holy Outreach for Christ and Manifestation Worldwide Churches. Donovan enjoyed fishing and restoring cars.
