Man Charged In Double Murder Of Two Women
ANTONIO JAMAR DAVIS ... Facing two counts of first-degree murder
Detectives with the Winter Haven Police Department have charged a man with two counts of first-degree murder. He was previously considered a person of interest in the deaths.

The investigation has revealed DNA evidence collected from the scene and victims linking Davis to the double murder.

old Chanel Zhane Brown and 42-year-old Latoya Dim- itria Owens Grant, were found inside a home in the 100 block of Avenue V, NW, in Win- ter Haven. Both women had been shot. Ms. Owens lived in the home.
Police were able to identify Antonio Jamar Davis, 35, as a person of interest in the case.

Davis had previously sur- rendered to the Lakeland Police Department on unrelated charges. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and tam- pering with evidence.
