Jason Day Beats Tiger In Japan Skins And Also With Quips
Buddy Hield Agrees To Four-Year Extension With Kings
Buddy Hield has the contract he wanted from the Sacramento Kings.
Hield has agreed to a four-year extension of $94M with the Kings.
Hield is fresh off a break- out season in Sacramento that saw the 26-year-old av- erage 20.7 points per game.

Not only did Jason Day win the inaugural "The Chal- lenge: Japan Skins" game on Monday, beating Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Hideki Matsuyama, he also won the needling con- test.
Turning to Woods after receiving the trophy, Day asked how many similar events Woods had played in.
"Tiger, this is what — your fifth of sixth?"
Before Woods could reply, Day supplied the re- joinder.
“He hasn't won one yet. I found that out today when he told me."
Woods and everyone else laughed, which captured the lighthearted day at the Narashino Country Club, where the made-for-TV skins game finished under flood- lights on the 17th and 18th holes.
"First time I've ever fin- ished under lights, so that was exciting," Day said, sur- prised the sun goes down about 5 p.m. in the fall in the Tokyo area.
The start of the 2019-2020 NBA season means it’s con- tract extension time, and De- jounte Murray is among those cashing in.

JORDAN WIGGINS
Georgia Southern freshman offensive lineman Jordan Wiggins has died. He was 18 years old.
The school confirmed Wig- gins death in a statement Monday evening.
Georgia Southern did not provide any details on Wig- gins’ death, and a cause of death has not been reported. The school promised to pro- vide more information as it becomes available.
Wiggins played in high school at Godby High in Talla- hassee, Florida. According to his Georgia Southern bio, Wiggins planned to major in electrical engineering and was named the Capital Outlook’s Youth of the Year for his work on and off the field in Talla- hassee.
Jaylen Brown Gets $115 Million Contract Extension From Celtics
Jaylen Brown is getting paid in a big way.
Brown and the Boston Celtics have agreed to a four- year, $115 million contract extension ahead of the start of the 2019-2020 season on Monday. That’s a massive contract for a player many questioned turning down $80 million. Apparently he knew he was worth more.
Brown, 22, averaged 13.0 points per game last season after averaging 14.5 the year before. He was set to be a re- stricted free agent after the season.
Brown is now being locked up by the Celtics and will be part of a core that will include Kemba Walker,

Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum moving forward. Gordon Hayward also has an option for next season and could be part of the team the next two seasons.
