DEACON MITCHELL HARRIS
Deacon Mitchell Harris of Tampa passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. Homegoing Celebration services will be conducted Saturday, May 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue with Reverend H. L. Daniels, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Masks are re- quired. Mr. Mitchell Harris affection- ately known as “Uncle Son” was a native of Seminole County, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for over 50 years. Mitchell Harris was born to the late Arnold Harris and the late Henrietta Koonce.
He was a humble servant of God and accepted CHRIST at an early age. He joined New Friendship Mis- sionary Baptist Church, where he served faithfully for over 50 years, until his health began to fail (just re- cently). He served on the Deacon’s Board and with the Sunday school.
Mitchell was joined in Holy Mat- rimony to the former late Ovida Dennard Harris. To their union, two children were adopted. Mitchell
    was employed with Florida Steel for over 50 years until his retirement. Deacon Harris was a faithful servant in his community, New Friendship, and other surrounding churches. He was devoted to his family and though he did not have children of his own, he was an integral part of the lives of his many nieces and nephews. They could rely on “Uncle Son” to be present for weddings, graduation ceremonies and other special events in their lives. Though he had some physical limitations in the last few months of his life, “Uncle Son” remained fiercely inde- pendent, socially active and enthusi- astic about life.
He will be dearly missed by his family and those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by: his brothers, nephews and sisters-in-law.
Left to cherish his memories are: two adopted children, Roy Allen (Billy) and LaShawn Allen; adopted grandchildren, Reko Allen, LaShawnequa McGee, Lenise Jones, Keyona Griffin, Taj Allen, Jordan Manson, Christian Allen, and Tailyn Allen; sisters-in-law, Louise Den- nard, Inez Green, and Myrtice Har- ris of Brinson, GA; god son, Keith Daniels; nieces, Mary Green, Patri- cia Faulk, Mildred Russell (Rico), Althea Wimbley, Barbara Wimbley- Wright (Calvin), Michelle Peterson, Casanthia Mingo (Willie), Delores Henry (Stanley) of Jakin, GA, Janet Peterson (Victor) of Augusta, GA and Barbara Wimbley (late Elbert, Jr.); nephews, Ronnie Wimbley, Richard Wimbley, Thomas Starkes, Michael Dennard, Deacon John Har- ris, Sr., (Rochonda) of Brinson, GA and Henry Harris, Jr., (Mary) of Au- gusta, GA and George, Jr., of Miami FL (a devoted nephew); devoted friends, Bro. David Clark, Mrs. Pat, and Elijah Gibbons and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends, both in FL and GA.

DEACON JOHN A. HUGGINS, SR.
Deacon John A. Huggins, Sr., of Riverview, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 22, at 2:00 P. M. at Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church, 1605 N. Nebraska Avenue, Elder Elmer Wilson, officiating with Pas- tor Benjamin Curry, Eulogist. Inter- ment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Masks are required.
Deacon John A. Huggins, Sr., was a native of Capitola, Florida, and a resident of Tampa Bay for 41 years. He attended the public schools of Leon County, graduated from Rickards High School and Pasco- Hernando Community College.
He was a self-employed contrac- tor and landscaper.

MR. DONALD D. JACKSON
Mr. Donald D. Jackson of Riverview, Florida passed away Tues- day, May 11, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue with Pastor Samuel E. Badger of First Prospect M. B. Church, Wimauma, FL, officiating. Interment will follow. Masks are re- quired.
Mr. Donald D. Jackson was a na- tive and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, born to the late Donald Jack- son, Jr., and Mattie Jackson.
Donald graduated from King High School, Class of 1982 and fur- thered his education with Wiley Col- lege with a scholarship for Basketball. Donald was an entrepre- neur, owning several businesses up until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Donald and Mattie Jackson; his brother, Eric Jackson; his uncles, Harvey Streeter, and Jimmie Jack- son; and aunt, Ernestine Shakoor.
He leaves cherished fond memo- ries: a loving and devoted lifelong partner, Sonya Sanford; his two de- voted daughters, Monique and Danielle Jackson; his devoted sister, Donetta (Eddie) Camancho; his brother, Kim (Tarshee) Jackson; grandchildren, Kylah Fields, Camron Sanford, Karter Scoggins, Sanai San- ford, and Kai Jackson; great grand- child, Laniyah Warner; aunts, Rasheedah (David) Muhammad, Idean Jones, Annie Mae Scott, Mattie Wilkerson, Katie Williams, Doris Jackson, Lucille Lee, Sherry William Longs and Pearlie (Roger) Young; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Jerrick D. Vann was a native of Orlando, Florida, born to Gloria Walker-Riley and Ricky Vann. He was educated in public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Armwood High School. Jerrick was a member of College Hill COGIC.
He was preceded in death by: his uncle, Gregory Walker.
