Renaye will be missed by her ever-present pug-eyed compan- ion, Chance.
All who were blessed to know Renaye will always remember her generosity, her unique sense of humor, kind heart and quick wit. Wherever she went, she graced the world with her sense of fashion, words of wisdom, know-it-all attitude and ‘’got to be right about everything all the time’’ personality. She truly made her love for her family, her Pastor and her church well known.
Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, Feb- ruary 12, 2022, at 12Noon at Allen Temple AME Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Tampa, Florida 33605. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 6-8 p. m., at Blount & Curry Funeral Home @Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610.
Interment on Monday, Feb- ruary 14, 2022 at 12:30 p. m., at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513, with Military Hon- ors. Please follow the CDC Guide- lines for COVID, please wear Masks. Family will meet to the church at 11:30 A. M.

 MS. BERNADETTE ‘BERNA’ MARIE NELLUM GUILLORY
A Memorial Service for Ms. Bernadette “Berna” Marie Nel- lum Guillory of Tampa, will be held on Saturday, February 12th, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1203 N. Nebraska Ave, Tampa, 33602, Fr. Argustinus Seran, SVD., of- ficiating.
Bernadette was born July 4, 1963, at Homestead Air Force Base in Homestead, FL. She led a courageous life and transi- tioned peacefully in her home in Brandon, FL surrounded by family on January 24, 2022, after a long cancer journey.
Bernadette had a conta- gious energy and inspired fam- ily and friends everywhere she went. Most recently she did so through her uplifting posts on social media, even as she was on her own journey. She loved traveling, a bug she caught as a military brat traveling the U. S. and Europe with her parents. She also loved the beach, plants, and animals, especially her emotional support dogs, Lela and Rocco.
Bernadette will be remem- bered for her numerous acts of kindness and volunteerism, in- cluding in her final days organ- izing a drive from her bedroom for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
She joined the St. Peter Claver family shortly after mov- ing to Tampa, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #379.
She is survived by: her lov- ing parents, Thoreau and Yvonne Nellum; brother, Brian Nellum (Hermine); and her three beloved sons, Christo- pher Nellum (Alexis Jackson), Alphonzo Mosby, and Keith Guillory. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Ava Celeste Yvonne Nellum, daughter of Christopher and Alexis. Bernadette’s living family in- cludes many aunts, uncles, and cousins in New Orleans and around the country. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Rogier E. Pearson of Thonotosassa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, Janu- ary 29, 2022, will be held on Sat- urday, February 12th, 4:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Rev. Michael Neely, offici- ating.
Rogier, was born August 8, 1942, in Macon, Georgia, to Floyd Pearson and Katie Mae Gordon. He loved golfing and was known as a Hole in One Golfer.
Rogier was preceded in death by: his father, Floyd Pear- son; mother, Katie Mae Gordon; sister, Joyce Marie Pearson and brother, Willie Frank Pearson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted wife, Beaurie Pearson; loving and devoted stepson, Lindsay Harris; children, Rogier Eugene “Poppa” Pearson (Rose), Twanda Woodall (James, Queschon Pearson and Gaque- tta Nykol Emanuel (Dexter); grandchildren, Ariel Pearson, Curtis Reed (Mary), Siera Pear- son, Ashley Puckett, Auston Pearson, Dadron Smith, Nicklas Eamuel, Lia Harris, Savanah Harris, Nigel Harris, Brandon Harris, Kenuya Harris, Lindsay Harris, Jr., and Cassidy Harris; 10 great grandchildren; nieces, Brenda J. Pearson, Carol Beasley, Jacqueline Valdez- Campbell, Terrica Pearson and Benetta J. Gamble SFC – Re- tired; nephews, David Lorenzo (Pine) Pearson, Roderick Pear- son, Willie Frank Pearson, Jr., and Daryl Pearson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Gloria was born April 1, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, to Willie and Evelyn Davison. She loved cooking and upholstery.
Gloria was preceded in death by: her husband, Pete Smith; parents, Evelyn Robinson Davi- son and Willie Davison; siblings, Bettina Booker, Alma Trotman, Barbara Lampkin, Wilhelmina Davison and Cecelia Cambridge; nephews, Joseph T. Cambridge, Jr., William Trotman and Kevin Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory with: daughter, Aurelia Andrew; grandchildren, Marcus Andrew and Justin Andrew; brother-in-law, Joe Cambridge; nieces, Deidre Cambridge Nathan (Clarence), Sonia Hicks, Janice Albury (Oscar), Cheryl Booker, Shelia Booker, Elaine Richardson (James) and Debo- rah Trotman; nephews, Keith Davison and Edward Reed, Jr.; cousins, Cornelia Lyles-Horne (David), Kareem Kirk, Cheryl Kirk and Deborah War; godchil- dren, Bernard Jordan, Deborah Thomas, Carmine Thomas, Thomas Dixon (Barbara) and Herbertha Williams.

MS. LAVELLE RENAYE (SINGLETARY) SHAW
Our beloved Lavelle Renaye (Singletary) Shaw, 65, of Apopka, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Lavelle was born to the late Willie Mathis Singletary, Sr. and the late Fannie Lou Singletary. She was educated in Hillsborough County, receiving her Bachelor of Science from Florida Southern College. She served in the United States Army with honor, distinc- tion and retired as a distinguished member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Ms. Lavelle Singletary-Shaw served proudly as a Deaconess at Truth Nation Church, Orlando, Florida.
Preceded in death by: her lov- ing husband, Charles Ware; sib- lings, Walter Sue Singletary, Clement Lee Singletary, Nathan Singletary, Pauline Speed and Martha “Tia” Davis.
Carrying on fond memories and love for Ms. Singletary-Shaw are: her son, LeShane McKnight; grandson, Sherrick Brinson; granddaughters, Jakalyn and Tah- jah McKnight; great granddaugh- ters, Kali and Kyla Brinson; goddaughter, Dekayla Mone’ Gray and god- granddaughter, Keyani A’Mei Sylvain.
She is also survived by: her brothers, Willie Singletary, Jr.
