Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sets Box Office Record
LL Cool J Misses Rock Hall Of Fame Induction For 5th Time
The new animated Spider- Man movie, Into the Spider- Verse, is not only a success with critics, but it's doing big business at the box office as well.
The movie opened this past weekend, and it made $35.4 million over its first three days in the United States. That sets a new all-time record for any animated movie released in December. Into the Spider- Verse was the No. 1 movie of the weekend by far, with Clint Eastwood's The Mule ($17.2 million) coming in second place for the three-day period. Into the Spider-Verse holds an incredible A+ CinemaScore rating from movie-goers, which suggests the movie will perform well into its second weekend and potentially be- yond.
With its international box office figures added in, Into the

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame committee has unveiled its Class of 2019. Once again, LL Cool J didn’t make the cut. The Radio mastermind and Kennedy Center Honors recipient has been up for the honor five times but hasn’t managed to get past the nomi- nation phase.
The famed Rock Hall, which is located in Cleveland, Ohio, has only inducted a handful of Hip Hop acts, including Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, N.W.A, Tupac Shakur and Run-DMC.
The Class of 2019 inductees include Janet Jackson,
Spider-Verse has now made $56.4 million after just one weekend. The film had a re- ported budget of $90 million.
Into the Spider-Verse is just the latest Spider-Man film from Sony, which licenses the character Spider-Man and others from Marvel. Sony's previous Spider-Man movie, the spinoff Venom, was a mas- sive success at the box office,
taking in more than $850 mil- lion.
Into the Spider-Verse fea- tures the voice of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales in the lead role.
In GameSpot's Into the Spi- der-Verse review, Meg Downey wrote that the film is an "instant animated classic, and, with any luck, the firm of many of its kind."

Lil Pump Kicked Off Flight After Drugs Allegedly Found In His Luggage
Jeannie Mai And Adrienne Bailon Are Reportedly Feuding With ‘The Real’ Co- Host Tamera Mowry-Housley

Lil Pump was bound for Los Angeles until TSA allegedly dis- covered drugs in his luggage. Ac- cording to TMZ, Pump was leaving Miami on Thursday (De- cember 13) when a flight atten- dant was forced to remove Pump and his entourage from the flight.
Police were reportedly wait- ing for him at the terminal so they could question him about a “significant amount” of drugs found inside a checked bag with his name on it.
Pump has had numerous legal troubles over the past 12 months. The 18-year-old Florida native, who is currently on pro-

bation, was arrested in August for driving around
Miami without a valid driver’s li- cense.
The “Gucci Gang” architect was also detained by Denmark authorities for marijuana pos- session earlier this month.
While police were taking him to the station, Pump made an inappropriate gesture behind the cops’ backs, which likely led to the group’s 24-hour hold. They were promptly asked to leave the country.
As Pump’s legal issues con- tinue to mount, he still hasn’t re- leased his Harverd Dropout album. He was originally plan- ning to drop the project in Sep- tember.
Drake Reportedly Amps Up Security At His Hidden Hills Home Because Of Kanye West
There seems to be trouble within the dynamic of the co- hosts of The Real as it is being reported that Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai are currently at odds with Tam- era Mowry-Housley, and it all allegedly concerns money and expression.
According to the Daily Mail, tensions initially rose among the ladies over the ac- tress' high-paying salary.
Mowry-Housley is re- portedly the highest paid of the bunch, with Loni Love com- ing in as a close second. Bailon and Mai are allegedly only being paid a third of the other ladies' salaries.
Things reportedly wors- ened, earlier this year, when the Sister, Sister star and the comedian refused to speak up
in helping their two lesser paid co-hosts receive raises. The site reports that threats of a staged walkout soon fol- lowed as a result of the dis- crepancy.
In addition to the salary disputes, the women report- edly no longer click with their admittedly conservative co- panelist as she "isn't keeping it real" with viewers. Mowry- Housley is further being ac- cused of refusing to acknowledge her Republican political views and reportedly dances around her alleged support of Donald Trump in the 2016 election, on air.
An insider further added that the working relationships among the ladies began to de- teriorate back in April follow- ing the show's Emmy win.
Drake has reportedly beefed up security outside his Hidden Hills home in Los An- geles, which is located roughly a half-mile down the road from Kanye West’s com- pound.
According to TMZ, sources in the neighborhood have seen at least two new security guards posted up outside of Drake’s home as well as a black SUV parked inside the front gate.
The extra security precau- tions follow Kanye’s Twitter explosion on Friday (Decem- ber 14). ‘Ye’s wrath was mostly directed at Drake after he was

Real” cleared. After a flurry of manic tweets, ‘Ye ultimately revealed Drake had “threat- ened” him.
Kim Kardashian quickly came to her husband’s de- fense and confirmed some kind of threat had been made.
On Saturday morning (De- cember 15), ‘Ye continued his Twitter rampage where he took issue with Ariana Grande for using his feud with Drake as promo for her new song. He also broached the topic of mental illness once again and noted the “paradigm shift” around mental health he be- lieves he’s witnessing.
