MR. ARIC BERRY ADKINS
A Celebration of Life Service for Aric Berry Adkins of Tampa, FL will be held on Saturday, Octo- ber 19, 2019, at 11 a. m., at Light of the World Deliverance, 4701 N. 15th St., Tampa, FL 33610. Rev- erend Victor M. Dabney, officiat- ing. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL.
Aric Berry Adkins began his life’s journey on July 2, 1961 and departed his life Thursday, Octo- ber 10, 2019. He was the son of Jacquelyn Mickens (Norton) of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the Hillsborough County school System, graduating from Hillsbor- ough High School. He attended Westmar College, Iowa, and en- joyed playing high school and col- lege football.
E-7 (Ret.) Aric Adkins joined the military and honorably served in the U. S. Army for 20 years. His MOS was Communications and he served his country in various loca- tions overseas and across the United States. As a skilled soldier, Aric was Airborne, Air Assault, and SERE (Survival skills, Evasion planning, Resistance to exploita- tion and political indoctrination, Escape planning), Code of conduct applications in wartime, peace- time, governmental and/or hostage detention environments. During his tenure he received nu- merous awards, decorations and commendations.
After retiring from the military he was employed with Verizon Communications. Preceding him in death were: his loving grand- parents, Doris and Joseph Bryant.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his loving, devoted wife of 33 years, Paula Adkins; one son, Gre- gory Artis, Jr. (Richshawnda) Col- orado; three daughters: Arilicia Hoff (Tryg), Alabama; Asya Cena- tus (Lawrens), Florida and Alissa Relford (Tromonte), Florida; three brothers, Victor Adkins, Florida, Johnny Adkins, Afghanistan, and Sammy Mickens, Florida; one sister, Brenda Ad- kins-Jones, Florida; He was called Papa by his three grandchildren: Samara Artis, Gregory Artis, III, and Zoe Cenatus; eight nieces, Jazmine Jones, Adriana Adkins, Jacquelyn Mickens, Jacquay Mick- ens, Jaquaza Mickens, Brandy Mitchell, Destiny Parker and Serenity Parker; three nephews, Nathaniel Singletary, Joquan Jones and Johnny Adkins, III; his mother-in-law, Sarah Campbell, California; and a host of other rel- atives and friends.
Friends are asked to assemble at the Church on Saturday at 10:45 a. m., for the service.

Man Wanted For Breaking Into Car
CAR BURGLARY SUSPECT
The Clearwater Police De- partment is currently attempt- ing to identify a car burglary suspect. The incident took place last Saturday evening at the Water’s Edge Condominiums, 331 Cleveland Street.
According to police, the sus- pect parked a newer model Hyundai Sonata near the main entrance of the complex. He then entered the parking garage. Once inside, he is alleged to have entered an unlocked vehi- cle.
The man is described as white with tattoos on his left calf and upper left arm.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to contact the Clearwater Police Department at (727) 562-4242.

Meeting
Members of the Rivergrove community are invited to at- tend a neighborhood meeting on Monday, October 21, 2019, 6:30-7:30 p. m.
The meeting will be held at the Gwendolyn Miller Center at Woodland Terrace Park, 6410 N. 32nd St., Tampa 33610.
The meeting is regarding the re-organization of the Rivergrove community. The community’s attendance is needed to determine if there is sufficient interest to re-orga- nize the neighborhood associa- tion.
