MRS. PATRICIA ANN YOUNG ANDREWS
Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Patricia Ann Young-An- drews, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 4, 2019 will be held on Saturday October 19, 2019, at 10 a. m. at Center for Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Apostle Mark T. Jones, Sr., Senior Pastor, with Pastor Rodney Norton, officiating and Pastor Esther Ross, Moderator. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, 4406 E. Chelsea, Tampa, Florida.
Mrs. Patricia A. Young-An- drews was born on April 15, 1951 to Steve and Thelma Young in Carnegie, Georgia.
She was the oldest girl of four- teen siblings and one of the most loving, caring and kind person you could have ever met. Patricia was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Patricia accepted Christ at an early age. She was affectionately known as “P Love” and she en- joyed life to the fullest. Patricia loved her family and she was the glue that held everyone together as a family over the years. She was a loving mother to her three beautiful daughters.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James Andrews; fa- ther, Steve Ray Young; siblings, Ray Steve Young, and Rosemary Young.
Patricia leaves to cherish memories with: her daughters, Alice Young, Belinda Young and Felicia Livingston; grandchildren, Todd, Jr., Jerel, Renecia, Helena, Vakeria, Vernesha, DeYonna, Gerald, and Keshana; great- grandchildren, Ahmad, Todd, III, Jada, Jahnea, Teveyonna, Ka’oni, Ted, III, Milan, Aurya, Ryuu, Dal- las and Legend; mother, Thelma Young; brothers, Ronald (Tracy) Young, Terry (Cassandra) Young, Jerry Young, Lorenzo Young, Barney (Paula) Young, Sanders (Lori) Young, Ricardo Young and Alfred Ward; sisters, Brenda (Al- fred) Rush and Diane (Eshon) Moore; special niece and nephews, Monica Jones, Wade Collins and Paige Young; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other sorrowing relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day, October 18, 2019, from 5-8 p. m. with the family present to re- ceive friends from 6-7 p. m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at the church on Saturday at approximately 9:45 a. m.

SMSGT. ODIE JONES, JR.
SMSGT Odie Jones, Jr. of Tampa passed away, Friday, Octo- ber 11, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 19 at 11 a. m., at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2511 E. Columbus Drive, Reverend Larry L. Roundtree, II, Pastor, of- ficiating. Interment will be held Monday, October 21 at 11 a. m. at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Odie Jones, Jr. was born in Aliceville, Alabama to the late Josephine Jackson and Oddie Jones, Sr. He had one sister, Mat- tie B. Jones, who passed in 2014.
He is a graduate of Sum- merville High School, Aliceville, Alabama, where he also earned the honor of Class Salutatorian. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he had a fulfilling career traveling the globe. Odie retired from the U. S. Air Force, June 1, 1984 as a Senior Master Sergeant after serving for 28-1/2 years. He had numerous military assign- ments both in the U. S. and over- seas; including a year in Southeast Asia during the Viet- nam War. He received 21 presti- gious awards and medals during his career. He is listed in the 2012 Air Force Memorial Registry and received the 2012 Airman’s Soci- ety Certificate of Recognition. Additionally, Mr. Jones briefly at-
tended the University of Tampa, Tampa, Florida.
While stationed at MacDill AFB, Odie joined the Bay Area Brotherhood, a nonprofit vet- eran’s civic organization. As a charter member, Mr. Jones served several terms as Treasurer, Secre- tary, Historian, Vice President, and President. He received six ‘Member of the Year’ Awards, two Longevity Awards and the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017 from the Bay Area Brotherhood.
A man of a thousand talents and an accomplished mechanic, Odie excelled in automobile and small engine repair. A skilled car- penter and electrician, he updated and maintained a small, but loving home in South Tampa, where he and his loving wife, Dorothy raised their 5 children and thrived in a loving and supporting environ- ment.
Odie achieved his goal of be- coming an author in 2017 when he published his first book: “Saving the Lake at Bobby Hicks Park.” He went on to publish four additional books. At the time of his passing, he was completing the manuscript for yet another publication enti- tled, “Cancer, Caught off Guard.” Odie was a life-time member of the Joint Communications Support Element Veterans Association and served as Vice President of the Gandy/Sun Bay South Civic Asso- ciation, Tampa, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy R. Jones; five chil- dren, Sheila A. Jones (Tampa, FL), Jeffery G. Jones (Tampa, FL), Ray D. Jones (Tampa, FL), Tracy (Is- abelle) Jones (Columbia, SC) and Deidre R. Jones (Riverview, FL); four grandchildren, Zenobia Moreland (Chicago, Il), Brittany Bazemore (Tampa), Estavio C. Jones (Columbia, SC) and Esais C. Jones (Columbia, SC); two great- grandchildren, Ke’Auhje and Ke’Ayla Moreland (Chicago, IL); and a host of relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, October 18, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

MS. ROSEMARY WASHINGTON
Ms. Rosemary Washington of Tampa passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. A Memorial Service will be conducted Satur- day, October 19 at 4:30 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pas- tor Donald Lott, officiating.
Ms. Rosemary Washington was a native of Chicago, Illinois and a resident of Tampa for 5 years. She was a graduate of Dus- able High School, Chicago, IL. Ms. Washington was a member of New Mount Zion Missionary Bap- tist Church and was a retired Beautician.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles Washington, Sr. and Ernestine Taylor Wash- ington; siblings, Charles Wash- ington, Jr., Sandra Washington and Shirlene Ewing.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her life partner, A. J. Duplessis; son, Charles Washing- ton and wife, Deidre; grand- daughter, Adrienne Washington; siblings, Rodney Washington, Ernestine Thompson, Diana Washington, Joseph Washington, Doretha Burrell, Jimmie Burrell, and Ronald Washington; best friend, Juanita Payne; and a host of nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

MR. DARIAN L. WELCH-WEAVER
Mr. Darian L. Welch-Weaver of Seffner, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, October 19, at 11 a. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Reverend Monica Williams, officiating. Interment will follow in Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
Mr. Darian L. Welch-Weaver was a native of St. Louis, Missouri and a resident of Seffner, FL for 16 years. He was a graduate of Armwood High School, Class of 2007 and furthered his education with Hillsborough Community College - Brandon Campus and Altierus Career College.
Darian was employed as a Pool Maintenance Technician at Pinch-A-Penny Pool Patio Spa Company.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grand- parents.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his parents, Peggy and Joseph Weaver; brothers, Mau- rius L. Smith and Derek L. Welch- Weaver; two nieces, Madison Smith and Mauree Smith; four nephews, Maurius Smith, Jr., Marquis Smith, Malik Smith and Mason Smith; a host of aunts, un- cles, cousins, and friends.
The Visitation/Wake will be held two hours prior to the fu- neral service, Saturday, October 19,from9a.m.to11a.m.atRay Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
