AIKENS
DEACON JAMES ALONZO BELL
A Homegoing Celebration for Deacon James Alonzo Bell of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at First Bap- tist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Rev. Dr. S. Evan Burrow, pastor officiating. The in- terment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Deacon James Alonzo Bell, Sr., was born on July 8, 1933, in Wilmington, DE to William and Anna Bell. He passed peacefully at the age of 87.
James was educated in Wilm- ington, DE and in 1952, he gradu- ated from Howard High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a military police officer.
James was an accomplished self-employed plumber and worked for the Chrysler Corpora- tion, retiring in 2000 after work- ing for more than 30 years.
In 1959, James married the love of his life, Frances Ann Cooper. At the time of his passing they had been married for almost 62 years. James accepted Christ early in his life and had been or- dained as a deacon of Tabernacle Baptist Church, in Wilmington, DE.
At the time of his departure, James was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of College Hill in Tampa, FL.
In addition to his parents, William and Anna Bell, James was preceded in death by: his brothers, William, Lawrence, Warren, and Norman Mowbray, Harry White, Lewis and Robert Bell, and Ellis Delano.
The precious memories of James Bell, Sr. will be forever cherished by: his wife, Frances Ann Bell; children, Credella “Voni” Hart, James A. Bell, Jr., (Annie), and Glynis Deedon (Rudolph), and special son, Alan Brown (Sylvia); sister, Rev., Dr. Etta Robertson; grandchildren, Dr. Lurleen Black, James Bell, III, Jonathan Bell, Shana and Sean Trader; great grandchildren Je- lani, Jared, and Jameson Bryant; special nieces, Norma Sudler and Beverley Brown; cousin, Diane Edwards; god daughters, Reese Michelle and Dana Black; friends, Otis Brit and Laker Laker; and a host of family and friends.
The visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of College Hill 1 hour prior to the service. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the serv- ice. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MS. HERBIANNA JAMES
A Homegoing Celebration for Herbianna “Herbi” James of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, will be held on Saturday, Decem- ber 5th, 12:00 p.m., at Aikens Fu- neral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Les White, officiat- ing. The interment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Herbianna was born Septem- ber 18, 1993, in Tampa, Florida, and was a graduate of Hillsbor- ough High School. “Bianna” or “Herbi” as she was affectionately called was an incredibly talented and well-known hair stylist spe- cializing in braids.
Her passion for braiding hair started at the tender age of 7 years old. By the age of 8, she was get- ting paid to do hair in her commu- nity. She was highly respected and known by her peers in the cosme- tology industry, both locally and nationwide.
Herbi continued braiding hair until she became ill. Herbi loved her clients and her clients loved her, she did not just build a busi- ness, she built lasting relation- ships. Long live “Styles by Herbi.”
Herbianna James was pre- ceded in death by: her loving mother, Berthina Rollins and her loyal and loving maternal grand- mother, Bernice Rollins.
She leaves to cherish her beau- tiful memories with: her one and only adorable son, Aston Bradley; father, Herbert James, Jr.; sisters, Heriyah James and Makayla James; grandparents, Phyllis Wright (Freddie) and Herbert James, Sr.; uncles, Barkedo Rollins, Kirk Jackson, Renaldo James, and Keavis Kenon; aunts, Berdina Rollins (Ron), Tammy James-Horton (Casey), LaShawda Kenon, DeAndra James, LaTam- mie James, Shayla Coleman, and Joi James; niece, Nevaeh Marie Toole; son’s father, Andre Bradley; special family, Reca Grayes, Takeiah McKay, and Joyce Waring; godmother, Keisha Till- man; special friends, Kichna, Teria McCall, Ronesia Latrionna, Kimiah, Tynisha, Freddrickia, Lashawn, Jamesha, Mikkieria, Jakiyah and Shaderia.
She also leaves to mourn: a host of special cousins, family and friends who dearly loved her and who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Please know that you are all acknowledged and loved by the family and are not for- gotten. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, December 4th, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Daniel Lamont Thompson was born June 10, 1996, in Ocala, Florida, to Renaldo Smith, Sr., and Lechant Thompson. Daniel enjoyed rapping and basketball.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Lechant Thompson and grandmother, Janet Thomp- son.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his father, Renaldo Smith, Sr.; brothers, Travis Thompson, Renaldo E. Smith, Jr., Rashad M. Smith, Jer- emiah Ashe, Rahmod T. Smith and Jacob Moore; sister, Raniyah A. Smith; nephew, Travis Thomp- son (TJ); grandmother, Amanda Smith; a special loving cousin, Monica Thompson; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will truly miss him.

MS. SHIRLEY L. JONES
A Celebration of Life for Ms. Shirley L. Jones will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 11 a. m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, with Minister Steve Guyton, officiat- ing.
Ms. Shirley L. Jones was born on May 29, 1938 to the late Annie Laura Jones Parker in Fitzgerald, GA. She was a long time resident of Tampa, FL.
Shirley was preceded in death by: her daughter, Betty Rose Jones; great grandmother, Lizzie Jones; step-father, Prince Parker; brother, Robert Parker; sisters, Annie Lee Simmons, Antoinette Parker, Alberta Lynn, and Ezell Baity.
Shirley departed this earthly life on November 28, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: one granddaugh- ter, Rhonda Holder; 2 great- granddaughters, Imani Robinson and Tiani Wilson (Kelvin); 2 great grandsons, Samir and Samme Edwards; and great-great grand- son, Kelvin Reynoso; 2 brothers, Robert Stephens (Priscilla) and Rickey Parker; 2 sisters, Mar- garet Parker and Roxanna Martin (Otis); sister-in-law, Essie Parker; a host of family mem- bers, the Reese Family, Brown Family, Parker Family, Dixon Family, Stephens Family, Jordan Family, and the Young Family, all of Tampa, and Ola Mae Reliford of Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

MR. JACK BROWN, JR.
Mr. Jack Brown, Jr., of Tampa, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 E. Lake Avenue, with Pastor E. Mason, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Jack Brown, Jr., was born in Albany, GA to Jack Brown, Sr., and Corean Mathis Brown. He was a graduate of Middleton Senior High, Class of 1965. At Middleton, Jack excelled as a football player and was well liked by his teachers and class- mates.
He served in the United States Army two years active duty. Jack was employed with USF Mental Health Institute for over 30 years until retirement. His passion was refereeing and mentoring, where he worked over 35 plus years with Westcoast Officials Association. He was a mentor and father figure to many within the Tampa community.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Jack Brown Sr.; his mother, Corean Brown; and his brother, Nathaniel Brown.
Jack leaves to cherish his lov- ing memories: his daughter, Regina Brown-Lewis; sons, An- thony Brown (Linda) and Anto- nio Brown; grandchildren, Kyle, Jerome, Alfreda, Ronecia, An- thony, Jr., Antonio, Jr., Dwayne, Marquis, Donia, Donta, Abrian, Quinton, and Jamhal; 15 great grandchildren; sister-cousin, Gloria Alexander (Mark), in Jack’s voice, “favorite cousin,” Helen Greaves, of Newark, NJ, Kathleen Ransom, Betty Gaines (Dave), Lyndia Mathis-Hills, Lawrence Mathis (Charlotte), Danny Mathis (Salithia), Andrew Mathis (Meheret), Marionette Hollingshed (William), Veronica Dove (Gary), Tanya Santiago (Willie) of Brunswick, GA, Andy, and Cornell Daniel; as a son, Reg- gie Anderson; as a brother, Willie “Motor” White; special friends, Billie Walburg, Brenda Robin- son, Jim “Big Guy,” Darrell “DJ” Jones, Hardy, Margaret White, Michael Riley (Anita), Robert Thomas and many loved family and friends.
