MR. GREGORY J. BRUCE, SR.
Mr. Gregory James Bruce, Sr. of Tampa passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Memorial services will be conducted Satur- day, December 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 with Reverend Harold Doby, Jr., officiating. Fifteen min- utes prior to service time, please visit www.raywilliamsfuneral- home.com to view service via Live Streaming. Mr. Gregory James Bruce, Sr., was a native of Ty Ty, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 47 years. He was educated in the public schools of Tifton, GA and was a graduate of Wilson High School.
After graduation, Gregory en- listed into the United States Ma- rine Corps, where he served honorably until retirement.
Mr. Bruce enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, singing karaoke and he loved the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Bull Dogs. He also loved socializing with his close friends at the Brah- man, cooking salmon croquettes, watching westerns and listening to the Blues.
He will be missed for his sense of humor and funny jokes, his smile, storytelling and his kind heart.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, William Bruce, Sr., and Viola Bruce; and siblings, Mamie Atwater, William Bruce, Jr., and Mary Alice Bailey.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: wife, Odessa Bruce; daugh- ters, Vanessa Spurlock (Twon) of Atlanta, GA, Nichele Bruce and Nicole Bruce, both of Tampa, FL; son, Gregory James Bruce, Jr., of Tampa, FL; 15 grandchildren, Bria A. J. Moore, Jayden John- son, Alyne Stokes, Jeremiah Jenkins, Tyrell Pittman, Jamari Bruce, Taneal Pittman, Na’Zariyah Murry, Zariah Chat- man, Jada Teixeira, Mya Teixeira, Jordan Bruce, Julien Bruce, Tianna McCledon, and Kameron Bruce; one great grandchild, Ria Moore; mother-in-law, Rebecca Hair; brothers-in-law, Claude Hair (Marcia), Zemmer Hair (Marva), Marshall Hair (Kathy), Edward Bailey, of Tampa, FL and John Hair (Cynthia) of Atlanta, GA; sisters-in-law, Joann Williams (Ulysses), Daisy Vaz of Tampa, FL and Mary Bruce of Al- abama; one aunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Ms. Cecile Marie Davis of Tampa, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. at The Place Ministries, 5111 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Reverend Charles Davidson, offici- ating. Ms. Cecile Marie Davis was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, born to Cecil Davis and Rose Marie Spires Davis. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of Tampa Bay Vo-Technical High School.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Johnny Mur- ray, Jr.; cousin, Reginald Brown; and aunt, Cornette Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ory: three loving sons, Deonta Davis (Dominique), Dontae Davis, and DeVonta Davis, Sr., (Delicia); six grandchildren, Tara, Jaiden, Gabriel, DeVonta, Jr., Devyn and Gianni; five godchildren, Brendan, Rochelle, Gino, Kevin and Marvin; siblings, Selena Shannon (Dar- rell), Patricia Howell (Joseph), James Mond, Bridgette Riley (Ty- rone), and Katura Grayson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

MRS. CYNTHIA ANNETTE HARDY LEWIS

Mrs. Cynthia Annette Hardy Lewis was a native and resident of Tampa, Florida, for 74 years. She graduated from Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1963 and attended Gibbs Junior Col- lege and Tampa Business Col- lege.
She was a lifelong member of Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, where she served many years as the Church Secretary and Bookkeeper. She worked as a Secretary at USF, was a flight attendant/ticket agent for East- ern Airlines for over 10 years and retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools as a Prin- cipal’s Secretary after 24 years of dedicated service.
Cynthia was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie and Eva Hardy; and brother, Fred Hardy.
She leaves to cherish fond memories: husband, Rufus Lewis; daughters, Carol Lewis and Candace Dean (Errol); son, Rodney Lewis (Hollie); grand- children, Jared Lewis, Justin Burdgess (Erica), Jasmyn Dean, and Jayla Dean; adopted grand- children, Rylan Sells, and Kay- den Sells; great grand, Julian Lewis; sisters, Sylvia Hornsby (late Nathaniel), and Sonja Hardy (John); sister-in-law, Pa- tricia Lewis; brother-in-law, Leroy Lewis, Jr.; nephews, Vin- cent Hardy, Rawn Hornsby (Sadie), and Alvin Burns, Jr., (Sabine); great nephew, Jaron Hornsby; nieces, Nicolla Cobb, and Samantha Romero; great niece, Carina Hornsby; loving caregivers, Barbara Martin, Mayula Calderon, and Doretha Johnson; godsister, Natanya Miller; dear friends, Mary James, Dorothy Coleman and a host of cousins and special friends.

Mother Julia Mae Morris, of Tampa passed away Friday, No- vember 20, 2020. A Homegoing celebration will be held Satur- day, December 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 N. Lowe Street, Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames, Senior Pastor, with Bishop Willie L. Morris Jr. of True Vine True Love Min- istries, officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, Decem- ber 7 at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Av- enue, Bushnell, Florida 33513 at 11:00 a.m.

Julia Mae Morris was born to Edward and Bernetha Williams in Greenville, Madison County, FL. Julia graduated from Mays Junior Senior High School in Miami, FL then earned her Asso- ciates Degree in Nursing from Miami Dade Junior College.
She was also a self-taught seam- stress who made clothing for her children without the use of any patterns. Julia married Willie Lee Morris, Jr., and to this union
four sons were born. Julia was Baptized in Miami, FL, where she began her lifelong journey of serving God through her passion for loving people. Julia served in ministry at an early age then later became a Mother of Moun- tain Top Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Simpson. She also served as Mother of Higher Calling Ministries, under the leadership of Pastor Darion Jones before undertaking her final assignment as Founding Mother of True Vine True Love Ministries beside her husband.
Mother Morris was preceded in death by: her parents, Edward and Bernetha Williams; brother, Cedric Williams; brother-in-law, Minister Willie Burton; and niece, Tequila Lightbourne.
She leaves to cherish her legacy: husband, Bishop Willie Morris, Jr.; 4 sons, Pastor Willie Morris (Chimere), Pastor Andre Morris (Twanda), Derrick (Jes- sica), and Demetrius (Angelina); 4 siblings, Annie Pasty Washing- ton, Elder Barbara Williams, Mother Lorine Burton, and Eddie Williams (Marian); 16 grandchildren, Jordan, Jaiden, Amareon, Zion, Analisia, Alexis, Andre, Erriyon, Trey, Persia, Emilia, Zaire, Destiny (Justin), Ashton, Desmond, and Demetrius; great grandchild, Kaiden Morris; the Raines Fam- ily, her prayer warrior Mothers, plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved True Vine True Love family.
