RAY WILLIAMS
MS. MARY ALICE REID
Ms. Mary Alice Reid of Tampa passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020. Graveside Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Saturday, December 5, at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL 33610 with Reverend Samuel Maxwell, officiating. Interment will follow. Please follow the CDC Guidelines. Masks are required.
Ms. Mary Alice Reid was a na- tive of Pineview, Georgia and a resident of Tampa for 80 years. She was a graduate of Middleton High School and was a member of First Baptist Church of Progress Village, and Progress Village Sen- ior Center.
Ms. Reid retired as a Food Service Supervisor from the Hills- borough County, W. T. Edwards Detention Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Jeffrey Reid, Sr., (Jackie), Carey Reid (Julia), Morris Reid, Derrick Reid, Mark Durden and Penny Reid; grandchildren, Jeffrey Reid, Jr., Terrell Reid, Ebony Reid Owens (Darin), Carey Reid, II (Andreina), Dimitri Reid (Regina), Timothy Morris, Brit- tani Pate, Tiffani Moore (Chad), Shayna Reid and Ashley Reid; great grandchildren, Brandon, D’Andre, Caleb, Brooklyn, Jayden, Osmany, Massiah, Miyani, Kai, Malaya, Karsen, Skai, Jamier and Khaza; siblings, James Reid (Pearl), Geraldine Cottman, Ron- nie Reid, Larry Reid, Bruce Reid and Michael Reid; godsister, De- lores Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Rosland Robinson, affec- tionately known as “Roz” of Tampa passed away Monday, No- vember 16, 2020. Graveside Fu- neral Services will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Pas- tor Tony D. Parker, Sr., Assistant Pastor of St. John Cathedral, offi- ciating. Interment will follow.

Rosland, a native and lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida, was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County, graduating from Chamberlain High School, Class of 1971. Rosland was a long- time employee at GTE/Verizon and retired in 2001.
She enjoyed making beautiful- beaded name bracelets, baking creative wedding cakes, bowling, and lots of family time. Rosland was a dedicated member of St. John Cathedral in Tampa, Florida.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories: her husband, Isaac Robinson of 44 years; her mother, Ida E. Johnson; her fa- ther, John W. Smalls; two daugh- ters, Rashonda Tunstall (Jeff), and Janice Hicks (Greg); son, Ish- mael Robinson (Angel); two grandchildren, Mikaela and John- Michael Tunstall; five sisters, Louiser S. Harleston (Alphonso) of Uniondale, New York, Ruth A. Scott, of Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy E. Edwards (Patrick) of Balti- more, Maryland, Patricia A. Clark of Tampa, Florida, and Tracey A. Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; nine nephews and three nieces, Vernon Muhammad, Bryan Scott (Maisha), Dorian Ed- wards (Iretha), Ainsley Edwards (Dionne), Noel Harleston, Erik Edwards, Brandon Scott (Jill), Marcus Clark, Larry Williams, Jr., Kimberly Scott, Brittany Williams, and Stacey Williams; and a host of other loving family and friends.

MOTHER LEILA ALDRIDGE
Mother Leila Bryant Aldridge passed away Friday, November 20, 2020. Graveside service will be con- ducted on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida with Dr. S. Evan Burrows, officiating.
CDC guidelines will be honored. Masks are required.
Mother Leila Aldridge was a na- tive Floridian and lifelong resident of Tampa. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She accepted Christ over 80 years ago and was a dedicated and loyal member of First Baptist Church of College Hill.
She was a member of the Chat- terbox Club at Moffitt Cancer Cen- ter, the Jolly Seniors and the Ida Huggins Missionary Society and ac- tively involved with programs for young children during her younger years that included award winning May Day and Children’s Gasparilla Parade performances.
She worked at First Baptist Kindergarten until its closing. Chil- dren from the east side of Tampa to Progress Village were basically en- rolled during the segregated times. She then opened and operated Aldridge Child Care Center. Chil- dren that graduated were prepared for 1st grade because Mother Aldridge had obtained the knowl- edge and skills required to teach early learners. As an educator she believed that “preparation prevents poor performance.”
Mother Aldridge leaves to cher- ish affectionate and enduring mem- ories with: daughter, Dr. Shirley Aldridge Speights; granddaughter, Dr. Shea Eileen Speights; grandson, Charles Speights, II; great grand- daughter, Ghea Leila Foxx; great grandson, Charles Speights, III; sis- ter, Lillian Williams Brown; sister- in-law, Rubenia Bryant, of Jacksonville; godchildren, Edward and Sarah Williams, Celestine Mc- Crary Woodson, of Houston Texas, Lisa Murphy and Brian Williams; nieces, Ellen D. Bryant Hartley, of Jacksonville and Betoria Watson; nephew, Nathaniel Bryant, of Jack- sonville; special friend in Christ, Lorene Thomas; special adopted children who were always there for her, Rita Bryant Gainer, Ebony Mitchell, Desiree Jackson, Sonia Taylor, Patricia Sykes Brown, Mil- dred Harvey, Joyce Mitchell, Judy Williams, the Johnson, Dickens, and Aldridge families. Special care- givers, Dr. Shalin Shah and Elayne Jones, of the Florida Cancer Special- ist; Cheryl Gibbons, Christine West, the Lee Davis Senior Center and a host of other friends and relatives.

MRS. NATALIE CONAWAY
A Homegoing Celebration will be held for Mrs. Natalie Smith Conaway, who passed away on No- vember 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Lloyd Wright, Officiating and Rev. Dr. Henry J. Lyons, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Natalie Smith Conaway was born January 16, 1917, in Jack- sonville, Florida. She was the old- est of three daughters of the late Mr. Chester Smith and the late Mrs. Katie Tolbert Smith.
Natalie Conaway, affection- ately known as “Nana,” loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She became a devoted member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in 1956, in which she sang in the adult choir and led the youth choir dur- ing her early years. During her time at New Salem she was under the Tutelage of many great Pastors.
Nana loved her New Salem Church Family, and they loved her. She married James Conaway Feb- ruary 10, 1935 and from that union two sons were born. Willis Conaway and Johnell Conaway, and they all resided in Sanford, Florida, before relocating to Tampa, Florida, where she re- mained until the Lord called her home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, James Conaway; son, Willis Conaway; parents, Chester Smith and Katie Tolbert Smith; sister, Gertrude Washing- ton (Charles); sister, Vivian O’Neal (James); daughter-in-law, Lillian Conaway; grandson, Derwin Conaway; great grandson, Warren Mitchell Sr.
