Golf Star Tiger Woods Sends Simple, Powerful Tweet About Equality
Tiger Woods rarely ven- tures into the political arena. The star golfer, who recently had another health setback, has played golf with presi- dents from both sides of the aisle since he announced himself as the heir apparent to Jack Nicklaus almost two decades ago.
But on Sunday, Woods, arguably the best golfer in history, shared a tweet with a message that we can all get behind.
While we hope to see Woods back in top form on the links in the near future, it
s a pleasant surprise to see the reserved star rising above

Bills GM Doug Whaley Reportedly Intrigued By Possibility Of Cardale Jones At QB
It seems evident the Buffalo ills will survey other options or the quarterback position in 017, and one of them may be
n-house.
According to Vic Carucci
f the Buffalo News, general manager Doug Whaley finds he prospect of Cardale ones at quarterback “ap-
ealing.”
Buffalo faces a difficult de-
ision with only a limited umber of available quarter- acks. Jimmy Garoppolo
ikely won’t be dealt within the FC East, and Tony Romo is nlikely to see the Bills as eing close enough to con-
ention to be interested. The est of those options would ei-

ther fall in the draft or lower- tier free agents.
Current starter Tyrod Tay- lor may be on the way out, and while Jones may be tal- ented, he has also been dogged by questions of maturity and readiness. Nevertheless, with an absence of alternatives, starting him going forward is apparently under considera- tion.
LeBron James Wants Cleveland To Extend 10-Day Deal With Derrick Williams
Derrick Williams, signed y the Cavaliers to a 10-day ontract this week, will be ticking around Cleveland for while -- if LeBron James
as his say, at least.
"We hope that this is a long-
erm thing," James said of Williams after the Cavs' 125- 09 win over the Denver uggets on Saturday. "Obvi- usly, we know that he's on a 0-day contract, but we be- ieve it's going to be long-
erm."
Williams had seven points
n 21 minutes against the uggets and played the entire econd quarter when Cleve-
and outscored Denver 31-22. The Cavaliers are the fifth eam the six-year veteran has layed for since he was se- ected with the No. 2 pick in
he 2011 draft.
"He's been in some difficult
ituations, first of all, and we ope that this is a place that an help him grow and make hat next step," James con- inued. "He's 25 years old. It oesn't seem like it because e've been hearing his name or so long. But he's 25. He asn't even gotten to his poF-

tential, to his prime yet, so hopefully this group, this locker room, myself, my lead- ership [helps him]. Just want to see him grow every day, and it's a good place for him."
For Williams, who is aver- aging 9.5 points on 83.3 per- cent shooting in his first two games with the Cavs, playing in front of a sell-out crowd at Quicken Loans Arena was a revelation.
"Atmosphere was great, man," Williams said. "I had- n't experienced anything like that since I've been in the NBA. Just taking it all in. Just trying to help this team win. That's what I'm here for. Just play with energy, play with ef- fort, play with efficiency and try to get a win. That's why I'm here."
Sources: Nuggets Get Mason Plumlee In Trade With Blazers
MASON PLUMLEE
The Denver Nuggets are sending center Jusuf Nurkic and a first-round draft pick to the Portland Trail Blazers for center Mason Plumlee, a second-round pick and cash, sources told ESPN.com
The trade gives the Blazers potentially three first-round picks in this year's draft. The pick going from Denver to Portland is Memphis' 2017 pick, which is only top-five protected.
The Blazers acquire Nur- kic, 22, a bruising big man who is averaging 8.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
Steelers WR Antonio Brown Looking For Around
$16M Per Season
ANTONIO BROWN
The Pittsburgh Steelers re- cently said they have plans to “take care of” wide receiver Antonio Brown this offsea- son. This plan could include making him the highest-paid receiver in the league.
This aligns perfectly with what Brown is reportedly seeking as far as salary goes.
The Steelers amended Brown’s current contract last season when they bumped his $6.25 million salary up to $10.25. While that is a substantial raise, he was still underpaid compared to the league’s other elite pass-catchers.
Brown has performed phenomenally well over the past four years, averaging 1,579 yards per season. He also has not caught less than 10 touchdowns in the last three years. He has more than earned his keep and rightfully deserves to be paid hand- somely in 2017.
Latrell Sprewell Reconciles With James
Dolan, Sits With Him At Knicks Game
Just days after he in- structed security to kick a beloved former New York Knicks player out of Madison Square Garden, team owner James Dolan has decided to reconcile with another.
Latrell Sprewell, who was a fan favorite during his five seasons with the Knicks, publicly feuded with Dolan toward the end of his tenure in New York around 15 years ago. But, coincidentally of course, Dolan picked Sunday to invite Sprewell back to a game at MSG and bury the hatchet.
From the sound of it, Dolan has decided to sur- round himself with former Knicks in the wake of the Charles Oakley incident.
The Knicks traded Sprewell to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2003, and Sprewell went off on Dolan and several other members of the franchise when he re- turned for the first time as a visiting player. Dolan pub- licly criticized Sprewell’s character after the trade, which did not sit well with Latrell.

“His comments pretty much prove that he had something to do with the trade,” Sprewell said at the time.
He was then asked if he is bitter toward Dolan because of it.
“Yes. Well ... I won’t go into it, but yes,” Sprewell added. Sprewell being invited back to the Garden on Sunday is not a surprise. Fans have been critical of Dolan for kicking Oakley out of last week’s game, as have current and former players. You can see videos from the incident
here.
Sprewell was asked about
the Oakley/Knicks feud and said he feels it is time to move forward.
