Bicyclist Killed
Man Pleads Guilty To Trafficking A Minor To Tampa
    In Accident With
Dump Truck
A 33-year-old Houston, Texas man has pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a minor, coercion, and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual ac- tivity, use of a facility of inter- state commerce in aid of racketeering, and interstate transportation of a person for prostitution.
Jamel Muldrew faces a minimum mandatory sen- tence of 10 years, and up to life, in federal prison. A sen- tencing date has not yet been set.
According to court docu- ments, on April 9, 2021, law enforcement coordinated an operation in Tampa, Florida to identify victims of human trafficking, rescue those vic- tims, and identify and arrest their traffickers.

At the time of his ar- rest, officers recovered multiple fictious identity cards Muldrew had in his possession, for both himself and the minor victim.
The subsequent investiga- tion revealed that Muldrew had been trafficking the minor victim across the country to engage in prostitution. Specif- ically, between February and April 2021, Muldrew had trafficked the minor victim for the purpose of commercial sex in Texas, New Jersey, Mary- land, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, where he was ul- timately arrested.

 Bank Robbery Suspect Hits Same Bank Twice
BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT FROM 2-18-22
Detectives are attempting to identify a man who report- edly robbed the same bank location twice. Crime Stop- pers of Tampa Bay is also of- fering a reward of up to $5,000 in the case.
The robbery took place on Tuesday, March 8th. The sus- pect, described as a Black man, about 5’11” and weigh- ing more than 200 pounds, entered the Fifth Third Bank, 1901 W. Swann Avenue. He gave the teller a note de- manding money.
Once the teller complied, he fled the scene in a 2000s model Blue Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Detectives believe he is the same suspect who robbed the same bank on February 18, 2022.

Eurich Z. Griffin, III,
pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States by promoting a tax fraud scheme and helping others prepare and file false tax returns with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Griffin faces a maxi- mum penalty of five years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
According to the plea agreement, between 2013 and 2018, Griffin offered tax- preparation and consulting services to clients for a fee and recruited clients by convincing them that their mortgage debt payments entitled them to tax refunds, and helped to pre- pare and present false tax re- turns on their behalf.
To make the refund claims appear legitimate, Griffin and the conspirators filed tax documents with the IRS that matched the withholding in- formation listed on the tax re- turns.
As part of the conspiracy, Griffin also independently submitted six fictitious instru- ments totaling $1,354,809.21 to the IRS.
Two Men Killed After Sleeping Driver Leaves Road
Pleads Guilty
To Tax Fraud
A 50-year-old Dover man died Saturday evening in a single-car accident. The acci- dent took place on State Road 400.
The accident took place shortly after 7 p. m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unidenti- fied man was traveling west- bound on State Road 400 at Milepost 19 when for unde-
termined reasons, he lost control of the vehicle while changing lanes.
He traveled to the north shoulder and overturned sev- eral times. The driver, who was from Dover, was trans- ported to an area hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation is con- tinuing.
Conspiracy
 Two men died Sunday after being struck by a vehi- cle that left the roadway. The driver of the vehicle al- legedly fell asleep behind the wheel.
A 73-year-old St. Peters- burg resident had a flat tire on the driver’s side and pulled the Sports Utility Ve- hicle to the side of the road. A short time later, his 30- year-old friend from Tampa came to assist him.
Both men were standing on the driver’s side of the ve-
hicle when a sedan driven by a 36-year-old Tampa man traveling northbound struck the vehicle and both men.
The 30-year-old man died at the scene. The 73- year-old man later died at a local hospital. A 69-year-old woman passenger in the ve- hicle was not injured.
Investigators said the driver of the sedan had re- portedly fallen asleep behind the wheel.
The investigation into the fatal accident is continuing.
