DJ Khaled Wants L.A. Reid’s Old Job
Several new reports claim that Tommie quit Love & Hip Hop ATL and her former bestie Karen King was fired by producers following last week’s epic drag-fest, in which Karen allegedly exposed some of the show’s “lies” and its producers were none too pleased.
Though neither of those sto- ries have yet been confirmed by VH1, Tommie has report- edly been on thin ice with Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s pro- ducers all season, and was even the subject of a firing rumor several weeks ago when she tried to attack Karlie Redd in a nightclub.
The fallout from Tommie and Karen’s actions has ap- parently been swift.
Karen, meanwhile, claims she was fired from the show via text message and wasn’t invited to the reunion.
It just goest to show how it works, Joseline Hernandez viciously attacked several cast members during the reunion and ended up with a spin-off.
Rihanna was honored on Tuesday at Parsons School of Design. Salmir Feratovic was arrested the day before at her apartment.
A man was arrested Tues- day at a New York City apart- ment building where Rihanna has a penthouse.
E! News reports that 33- year-old Salmir Feratovic was booked for criminal tres- passing. An NYPD spokesper- son said he had visited the residence before and was told then he was not allowed to re- turn.
Authorities did not mention
Rihanna’s name, but back in March, a man by the same name had commented on a news story about the singer that was posted on Facebook, writing, “Why she is not with me?”
Feratovic has multiple prior arrests, including one from May 2016 in which he was arrested for criminal trespassing at the same loca- tion.
DJ Khaled wants L.A. Reid’s old job as head of Epic Records.
As previously reported, renowned music exec LA Reid stepped down from Epic Records as chairman in light of sexual harassment al- legations recently, and the company hadn’t publicly re- vealed anyone who may be hired to step into the role.
But one person is allegedly eyeing the position: DJ Khaled. An insider told Page Six that the rapper/DJ /pro- ducer thinks he’s qualified for the position. “He was peti- tioning to get that job. He’s like, ‘I make more happen
than anyone in the game, why would I not be considered to run the label?’ ” an industry insider said.
However, more sources have come forth and said the Reid exit was based on more; the sexual harassment allega- tions were just the last straw. Insiders said that Sony CEO Rob Stringer fired Reid be- cause he’s difficult to deal with and is a “diva.” “The girl thing was just one more piece of the problem. That’s been going on for decades”.
