Super Bowl Collapse
After both teams domi- nated their respective compe- tition so far in the playoffs, Las Vegas believes the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers will be competitive.
And once again, LeBron James' team will be the un- derdog.
The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook installed Golden State as a -260 favorite, with Cleveland at +220.
A $100 bet on the Warriors
Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Dirk Koetter is not happy with the Bucs' social media team, which trolled the Atlanta Falcons on Monday for losing to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI.
"I want to make sure on be- half of the Bucs organization that I apologize to the Falcons for whatever that was sup- posed to be that went out on social media," Koetter said. "That's not what our organiza- tion is about."
It started with the Bucs promoting the online sale of team fidget spinners. The Fal- cons responded, "Are you nervous about something?"
That's when things esca- lated quickly. The Bucs fired back with, "We ain't worried 'bout nothing!" along with a photo of Vernon Harg- reaves (No. 28) and Jameis Winston (No. 3) bumping fists in the locker room.

lead to the Patriots in the largest collapse in Super Bowl history.
"That was totally unprofes- sional and not smart on our part, whoever was responsible for that," Koetter said. "Heck, we wanted to be play- ing in the Super Bowl, and we were home sitting on our butts while they were playing. We've got no room to make fun of anybody that was in the Super Bowl, whether they won or not."
RICHARD SHERMAN
It is fairly obvious that Richard Sherman wanted the Seattle Seahawks to ex- plore trade possibilities for him this offseason, but the All- Pro cornerback insists that is not a reflection on his relation- ship with his teammates and coaches.
In a lengthy feature he wrote entitled “Why Richard Sherman can’t let go of Seat- tle’s Super Bowl Loss,” ESPN’s Seth Wickersham cited sev- eral current and former Sea- hawks players, coaches and staff members who spoke about the resentment Sher- man has toward Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll. Sherman dismissed the story as “a bunch of nonsense.”
Shaq Shows Off His Feet – Internet Goes Crazy
SHAQ’S FOOT
Shaq gave TV viewers a
glimpse of something they probably wish they never would have seen.
During halftime of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference fi- nals on Thursday between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers, Shaq left his right foot bare and held it out for TNT’s cameras to show on TV.
Shaq infamously had foot and toe problems during his playing career, so the status of his feet shouldn’t be too big of a surprise. Still, many were grossed out by the site.
STEPH CURRY AND LEBRON JAMES
would win $38.46; the same bet on the Cavaliers would win $220.
Bulls Expect Dwyane Wade To Pick Up Player Option
Lamar Jackson Receives Key To His Hometown City In Florida
DWYANE WADE
Dwyane Wade’s Chicago homecoming may be more than just a brief cameo.
K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports on Wednesday that “most every- one associated with the
Bulls” believes that the 12- time All-Star will pick up his $23.8 million player option for 2017-18.
Wade, who will turn 36 in January, averaged a solid 18.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game this past season. But his midrange-heavy, slow-it- down style was a clunky fit within the Chicago offense and his year was marred by tensions with upper manage- ment. The three-time NBA champion also hinted in Jan- uary that he might leave the Bulls if they entered a re- build.
Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson recently re- ceived an awesome honor.
Jackson, who won the Heisman Trophy last season, received the keys to his city of Pompano Beach, Fla.
Jackson attended high school in Boynton Beach and scored 53 touchdowns in two seasons on varsity. He went on to Louisville where he blos- somed into a star in just his second season.
As a sophomore last year, Jackson threw for 3,543 yards and 30 touchdowns. He

also rushed for 1,571 yards and 21 TDs.
In addition to the Heisman, Jackson won the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award last season.
Chris Bosh, Heat Agree To Part Ways
Bears Agree To 1-Year Deal With WR Victor Cruz
Chris Bosh has not played basketball since Feb- ruary 2016 due to recurring blood clots, but he hasn't given up hope on an NBA re- turn.
He may now have his chance after agreeing to part ways with the Heat.
Bosh, an 11-time All-Star, was hoping to play at some point this past season, but a failed physical in September dashed his hopes. Heat pres- ident Pat Riley said that Bosh’s career with Miami “probably is over” after the failed physical.
The Heat will owe Bosh a guaranteed $52 million over the next two seasons includ- ing insurance, but the new agreement is expected to re-

move Bosh from the salary
cap, the report says.
Bosh's complex situation
was made even more unique due to the new collective bar- gaining agreement, which goes into effect July 1.
An independent panel of doctors must clear Bosh since he has a potentially life- threatening medical condi- tion.
Free agent star wide re- ceiver Victor Cruz has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears, saying Thursday he believes he has "a lot left in the tank" after seven years with the New York Gi- ants.
"I'm excited, man," Cruz said during an appearance on Waddle & Silvy on ESPN Radio. "I'm excited to come and have a fresh start and a new home and a new place. I'm excited to work with [quarterback] Mike Glen- non and coach [John] Fox and everyone there."
While calling his career

with the Giants "amazing," Cruz said the opportunity to impact the Bears was the de- ciding factor in his decision.
Victor Cruz had 303 catches, 4,549 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns in his seven seasons with the Giants.
