Contest Murder Plea
Pregnancy & Rape Claims
After three years, the long, drawn-out Marion “Suge” Knight murder trial has come to an unceremonious end, with the former Death Row Records CEO potentially looking to spend the rest of his days in prison.
Knight, 53, struck a plea deal that resulted in an instan- taneous 28-year sentence for the hit-and-run death of Terry Carter during the Jan- uary 2015 filming of the even- tual blockbuster film, Straight Outta Compton.
Knight copped to one count of voluntary manslaughter and also admit- ted that he used his truck as a deadly weapon on that dread- ful day — a special allegation for the case.
His sentence will begin on October 4 in Department 101 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Of- fice has revealed that Knight would receive 11 years for the voluntary manslaughter count, which would double due to a prior conviction under California’s three strikes law.
An additional five years would also be tacked on over the deadly weapon allegation, seeing that it’s considered as a

serious and violent felony. The no contest plea ab- solves two of Knight’s high- profile criminal cases. In August 2014, he was indicted for making criminal threats and in September 2014, he was accused of stealing a cam- era from a woman as come- dian Katt Williams served as an onlooker. Superior Court Judge Ronald S. Coen dis- missed those charges at sen-
tencing.
On January 29, 2015,
Knight was arrested and charged with intentionally ramming his Ford F-150 pickup into Carter and Cle “Bone” Sloan in the driveway of Compton eatery, Tam’s Burgers located at Central and East Rosecrans avenues.
Knight had originally pleaded not guilty while facing life without the possibility of parole had he been convicted.
Drake has reportedly filed a lawsuit against a woman who claims he got her pregnant last year.
The platinum-selling artist met Layla Lace in 2017 dur- ing his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester, England.
After the show, they al- legedly went back to his hotel where they had consensual sex. Drake believes Lace created a “fantasy relation- ship” in her head and once he stopped replying, she went berserk.
The lawsuit, filed by celebrity attorney Larry Stein, contains several text messages — allegedly between Lace and Drake — illustrat- ing how much she missed him.
Lace initially made the pregnancy claim via Insta-

May 2017, Lace hired a lawyer to demand money for the alleged baby. She also threatened Drake with a defamation suit after TMZ posted a story saying Drake had never even met her. But, Lace reportedly refused to take a paternity test.
Lace then allegedly went to New York authorities and accused Drake of raping her during their late-night tryst.
Kanye West Airs Out Drake, Nick Cannon & Tyson Beckford For Anti-Kim Kardashian Comments
Jordan Peele Nabbed
Kanye West went on quite the Instagram tirade on Thursday (September 20). While walking down the street, he whipped out his phone and recorded four separate videos that took aim at Drake, Nick Cannon and Tyson Beckford.
‘Ye was upset about some comments they made about his wife/reality television queen Kim Kardashian.
“I just wanted to express some things that were not sitting right with my spirit,” Kanye begins. “Now that I’m up out the sunken place, I can just be ‘Ye and express how I feel. There’s a couple things that I want to address.
“First of all, I want to ad- dress Nick Cannon. I un- derstand that you used to date my wife. But if you in an interview, don’t mention my wife. If someone brings my wife up, say ‘I respect that man, I’m not speaking on that.’ Don’t be making no suggestions like nobody f.... my wife.”
“The next thing is with Drake,” he continues. “I told you that if I wasn’t in a med- icated state, I might have had the thoughts to say, ‘Hey Pusha, don’t diss Drake on my beat.’ I spoke about that
track “XTCY,” which is evi- dently the same kind of re- spect he demands from Drake.
“I hit Trav about the ‘XTCY’ record and made sure we was all good, that we know we family,” he says. “I did tell you not to do that. Period. Don’t speak on no- body from my family. Noth- ing that can be even mentioned with my wife. Pe- riod. We don’t have to talk again. I’m giving no energy to that.”
Finally, he gets to model/actor Tyson Beck- ford who — not too long ago — made some negative com- ments about Kardashian’s appearance.
“As far as Tyson Beck- ford goes, don’t speak on my wife bro,” he says. “None of y’all speak on my wife, pe- riod. I’m married. We in love. We a family. It don’t sit right with my soul. It don’t sit right with my spirit. As men, y’all three come talk to me. Come holler at me. We’ll work it out. We’ll come to a resolution.
“It just don’t sit right with me and I had to express it. Nick Cannon, Drake, Tyson Beckford, all the wasn’t sitting right with me.”

and took accountability for that ... The fact that there’s people making rumors or thinking that you f.... my wife and you not saying nothing and you carrying it like that? That don’t sit right with my spirit.”
‘Ye goes on to explain that if he had a girlfriend with a similar name to Drake’s imaginary wife, he wouldn’t name a song “RiRi,” a reference to Drake’s “In My Feelings (KeKe Do You Love Me)” track.
“You too smart for that bro,” he says. “You know where that comes from.”
In two other Instagram videos, ‘Ye wraps up his Drake rant by saying he made sure it was cool with Travis Scott to use Kylie Jenner’s name on his new
