Christopher Krebs, who led the federal government's election cybersecurity efforts, has been fired by President Donald Trump via Twitter.
Krebs, the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastruc- ture Security Agency, or CISA, has been the target of public criticism from Trump since the Nov. 3 election over his agency's Rumor Control blog, which rebuts a list of false claims about election fraud and hacking — many of which Trump or his lawyers have touted as real after he lost the election.
“I'm proud of the work we did at CISA," Krebs told NBC News on Tuesday night after the firing. "I'm proud of the
A bipartisan panel in Michi- gan's largest county unani- mously certified its presidential results on Tuesday night, a stunning reversal hours after Republicans had temporarily blocked certification based on dubious claims of voting irreg- ularities in Detroit.
The Wayne County Board of Canvassers initially deadlocked 2-2 on whether to certify the re- sults, with two Democrats vot- ing to certify and two Republicans voting against it, citing concerns of examples where Detroit precincts found discrepancies during their post-election review process. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Across the United States, state and city leaders are rolling out restrictions to curb this third wave of the coronavirus.
According to Johns Hop- kins University of Medicine, the United States has more than 10 million coronavirus cases, the highest recorded number in the world. Some Tampa Bay leaders are re- minding people to be cautious through the holidays but there's been no word out of Tallahassee.
The last time Gov. Ron DeSantis held a news confer- ence was Nov. 4, the day after the election to praise his state for a job well done.
We haven't seen him at the podium since then, not even as Hurricane Eta approached our coast. He did, however, tweet throughout the event and

Now, we're looking at an- other crisis as COVID cases climb across the state. Florida reported broke past 10,000 cases on Sunday -- the highest number since July -- and has
seen the percent positivity of new cases climb.
"It's quite surprising and alarming, just his absence dur- ing this critically important time for Florida's health and future," Rep. Anna Eska- mani (D-Orlando) said.
