INTEGRITY
MS. CAROLYN P. POWE
On November 13, 2020, Ms. Carolyn Pernel Powe departed her earthly being. Her soul winged its flight from this world of sin, sorrow and pain to a place of rest.
Carolyn was born July 28, 1950 in New Bern, North Car- olina, and grew up in Arapahoe, North Carolina. She was the eld- est of five children born to Thomas and Alice Kinsey. She at- tended Pamlico Central School in Bayboro, North Carolina. She at- tended Durham Business College, Big Bend Community College, Air University and Florida Metropol- itan University, where she re- ceived a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science.
Her career consists of several different professions. She was a Supply Systems Operator, Cherry Point Marine Base, North Car- olina, Secretary for American Tire, In-School Suspension Teacher at McLane Middle School, an Assistant Teacher Computer Lab Manager at Bran- don High School and an Electron- ics Sales Clerk, Walmart.
She served in the United States Air Force as a Computer Operations Microcomputer Su- pervisor and Material Facilities Specialist. During her enlistment,
she played basketball for the U. S. A. F. team. After 20 years of serv- ing her country, she received an honorable discharge concluding her military service.
Carolyn’s hobbies included playing and watching sports, col- lecting movies, cooking, cross- word puzzles, reading and car shows. Her favorite hobby was eating butterfingers.
Carolyn joined Small’s Chapel Christian Church at an early age. She ushered, sang in the choir and participated in various pro- grams.
Carolyn married Gary F. Powe on April 22, 1977 and from that union they had two children.
She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Gary; her father, Thomas Jefferson Kinsey; and brother, Franklin Evander Kinsey.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Gary “Mario” and Sredrick “Sed” Powe; grandchild, Isaia Powe, Bloomingdale, Florida; her mother, Alice Kinsey, Arapahoe, NC; her brother, Rex Kinsey (Mary), Tucson, AZ; her sisters, Sandra Chapman, Arapahoe, NC, Angela Sawyer (Dennis), New Bern, NC; brother-in-law, Robert Faust, Detroit, MI; and sister-in- law, Denise Chambers, Cheraw, SC; aunts, Love Boomer, Arapa- hoe, NC, Verna Henderson (John), Apex, NC; uncle, William Sutton, Jr. (Odessa), Greensboro, NC; goddaughter, Shanti Oliviere; special friend, Cassie Mason Gibbs; and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.
The visitation will be held Sunday, November 22, from 1 p. m. to 3 p. m. Funeral service im- mediately following at Integrity Funeral Services, at 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa; Rex Kinsey, dea- con, Rising Star Baptist Church, Tucson, Arizona, eulogist.
Interment will be November 23, 2020 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 11 a. m.

A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Claire Alexis, who passed away November 15, 2020, will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 11 a. m. at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church, with The Holy Father, officiating. Interment will be made in Orange Hill Ceme- tery.
Claire Alexis was born August 6, 1939. Claire Alexis is from Saint- Marc in Central Haiti. She liked gardening and selling merchan- dise that people needed. Claire Alexis was a mother of nine.
She was preceded in death by 6 of her children and leaves 3 of her children to cherish her memories and a host of sorrowing family and friends.
The visitation will begin at 10 a. m. at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church. CDC guidelines are in ef- fect. Facial covering is required to attend.

MR. WILLIS JEROME YOUNG
A Private Celebration of Life Memorial for Mr. Willis Jerome Young of Tampa, FL, who passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 11 a. m., at Abundant Life Enrichment Church, 4701 East Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610, with Pastor Randy Ran- dolph officiating. The Committal will be made at the church.
Mr. Young was born on August 23, 1939, in Burke County, Gerard, GA. He received his primary edu- cation in Fort Pierce, FL, but spent a large portion of his young life in New York City.
Mr. Young was locally known as a landlord of numerous proper- ties in the Tampa Bay Area and for his entrepreneurial endeavors also as an accomplished poet, artist and author of several books.
Mr. Young is preceded in death by: his parents, Marshall Naylor Young and Mozell Bush Young; 8 siblings: Lewis, Moses, Rocker- feller and Aaron Hong, Katie Young, Cecilia Andrews, Inez Mor- ris and Judy Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Fan- nie R. Young; 6 sons/stepson: Willis, Jr., Curtis (Stephanie), An- thony, Valvillis (Vickie), Michael Young, Michael (Anika) Colleton; 9 daughters, stepdaughters: Linda, Myra, Ebony Young, Michelle Ad- dison, Cindy (Ken) Cooper, Tiashia Robinson, Kenya (Richard) Mc- Griff, Michelle (Alan) Wade, and Sharrell Colleton; brother, Henry (Ora Lee) Young; 2 sisters, Mozell Pace and Louise (Kenny) Pollard.
He leaves a host of grandchil- dren, great, grandchildren, special nephew, Paul Young, special friend, Willie Mae Grose and nu- merous friends, including Willie Jacobs.
A public Walk-Through view- ing will be held at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, Friday, November 20, 2020. Assembly of the family will begin at 10:45 A. M., Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Abundant Life Enrich- ment Church, Pastor Randy Ran- dolph, 4701 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. Facial covering is mandatory.

MR. PATRICK REED
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Patrick Reed, who passed away November 10, 2020, will be held 11 A. M., Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Exciting Central Baptist Church, 2923 N. Tampa, St., Tampa, FL 33602, with Pastor Lennox Zamore. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Patrick Reed was raised in Tampa, Florida, where he attended Hillsborough County Public Schools. He received his diploma from Washington County School System.
As a security guard, he gained an extended family with Sentry Event Services, Inc., Club 1828 and Raymond James Stadium, to name a few. Pat was a loving person and would do anything for anyone. He loved kids, music and spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish precious memories: mother: Sandra Reed (Arthur), stepmother: Geraldine Settles; stepfather, Greg Brown.
