INTEGRITY
MR. FRANK VALDEZ, JR.
A Private Garden Memorial Service will be held for Mr. Frank Valdez, Jr. on Saturday, November 21, 2020, 11 a. m., at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. G. B. Robinson, officiat- ing.
Frank Valdez, Jr., was born in Pecos, Texas to two loving parents, Frank Valdez, Sr. and Vellena Whittaker-Valdez. Frank was the second of nine children. He at- tended public schools in Hillsbor- ough County and graduated from the old Howard W. Blake High School. Frank was employed at Tampa Theater in his early life as a custodian. He enjoyed watching sports, playing Spades, and domi- noes. Frank was also good at clean- ing and shinning cars to a spotless shine.
As life went on Frank’s health declined through the years and his residence was moved from Tampa to Clearwater, FL, at the Highland Pines Nursing Facility, where he resided for over 13 years until he transitioned home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2020.
Those that preceded him in death were: his parents, Frank and Vellena Valdez, Sr.; grandmother, Elizabeth Garrison; one sister, Frankye Valdez Jaudon, and niece, Selena Williams.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: 1 daughter, Chandra Valdez; 3 grandchildren, Christian Valdez, Chamira Valdez and Chantell Valdez; 7 siblings; Tony Valdez, Sr. (Sandra), Raymond Valdez, Sr., Cinderella Valdez-Cuyler, Alphonso Valdez, Sr., Valerie Valdez, Lorraine Valdez-Williams, Loretta Valdez-Robinson (Rev. Dr. Greg Robinson); and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other sorrowing family and friends.

MOTHER ROSA M. BRINSON
Mother Rosa M. Brinson of Tampa, passed away Friday, No- vember 6, 2020. Homegoing Cel- ebration will be held Saturday, November 21, at 1:30 p. m. at The Center For Manifestation, 3102 East Lake Avenue, Apostle Dr. Mark T. Jones, Sr., Senior Pastor, with Apostle Donald R. Lott, Pas- tor of True Worship International Ministries, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.

Rosa M. Brinson, a native of Fort McCoy, Florida, was born to Wiley Pettigrew and Gracie Bell Chandler Mack. She was reared by her mother along with Kiser Mack; her aunt, Viola Chandler and uncle, Frizzell Chandler. She was a graduate of Fessenden High School, Ocala, FL, Class of 1954, where she was a basketball “star.” She furthered her education and attended Bethune- Cookman Col- lege, circa 1955-56.
A Cosmetologist for over 40+ years, she owned and operated a hair salon with her good friend, Noreen Finklea - LaRosa and LaRene Hair Salon and ended her career at the Orange Blossom Community building and salon. Rosa was a leader within the com- munity through Orange Blos- som Cosmetology Association as well as serving as the Tampa local unit President for many years. She also worked for a number of community based organizations to include the National Urban League and the Neighborhood Service Center. Rosa was a faith- ful church servant - New Progress M. B. Church, Rev. Williams; New Mt. Zion, Rev. Bobby Jones;
Philadelphia MB Church, Rev. James Marion and Zion Hill in Marietta, GA. Her final member- ship was with True Worship In- ternational Ministries, Apostle Donald Lott and she was provided spiritual guidance faithfully up to her final days by Mrs. Dorothy James and her husband.
Ms. Rosa married Mr. Samuel L. Muldrow in 1957 who came with a bonus son, Sammie L. Muldrow, Jr. (wife, Patricia) (who both preceded her in death). She was blessed with five biological children, Antonio A. Muldrow (deceased), Aurelio R. Muldrow and wife, Connie Schick of Wisconsin, Kenneth Muldrow and wife, Dorothy, Sandra Muldrow and Sabrina Muldrow.
Rosa married again and united in holy matrimony to Mr. Grant Brinson in 1978 (who also preceded her in death) and was a mother to his son, Gilbert Brin- son.
She was loved by and will be truly missed by her children; 9 grandchildren, Shayla, Ashley, Sharod, Kenneth, Renaldo, Sonja, Jasmine, DaMarius and DeMaria; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; devoted and cherished Mack siblings, Mary Morand, Ocala, FL, Tommie Lee, Council, Lorenzo, Hezekiah, Helen, Joe Nathan (Gainesville) and Willie Pettigrew (Fordham) in Daytona Beach; loved by a multitude of nieces, nephews, high school friends, cousins, in-laws, Willie Mae and Betty Mack; many, many devoted family and friends in Tampa, At- lanta, GA and Mason, OH over the years that provided love, support, kindness and care throughout her journey. Thanks to the many nursing and patient care staff at the University Village and Tampa Lakes Facilities that treated her and called her Mama Rose.
The visitation will be held from 3-7 p. m. Friday, November 20 at Ray Williams Funeral Home. We are asking family and friends to follow the CDC guide- lines. Masks are required.
In lieu of flowers, please con- sider donating to the Sportskids Foundation in honor of Rosa M. Brinson Scholarship. This schol- arship will help future cosmetolo- gists and college bound female seniors in 2021.

MR. WILLIE W. GRANT
Mr. Willie W. Grant, of Tampa passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. A Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, November 24 at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, with Superintendent Charles Davis, Pastor of College Hill Church of God in Christ, offici- ating. Interment will follow.

Mr. Willie W. Grant, affection- ately known as “Snapper,” was a native of Warrenton, Georgia and a lifelong resident of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a faithful member of Col- lege Hill COGIC for many years. Mr. Grant was an entrepreneur and retired as the proud owner and op- erator of his Carpet and Tile busi- ness. Mr. Grant will be truly missed by his family and friends. He was a devoted husband and fa- ther.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Annie Grant; sister, Dorothy Grant and brother, Willie E. Grant.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: his devoted and loving wife, Carolyn Grant; sister, Hazel Rynes; four children, Arthur Killins (Twanna), Kevin Allen (Sher- mane), James Williams, Jr. and Es- ther Baxter (Rick); grandchildren, Antwaun Killins, Alicia Killins, Rashawnda Allen, Alexiseya Killins, Asia Hutchings (Kevin), Karniya L. Allen, Kevin Allen, III, Demetrius Page and Duncan Bax- ter; nieces and nephews, Constance (Tey), Michael Grant (Alma) and many more; a host of cousins, other relatives, devoted friends, and his church family.

Ms. Vassie Lee Guyton of Tampa passed away Friday, No- vember 13, 2020. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, No- vember 21 at 4 p. m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, with Pastor Willie J. Haynes, officiating, and Reverend Richard Woodberry, eu- logist.

Ms. Vassie Lee Guyton was a native of Headland, Alabama, born to Corine Thomas-Bowick and J. C. Lango. She attended school in Hillsborough County. She loved to listen to gospel music and travel on tours with the Har- mony Winds. She was devoted to her family, friends, neighbors, and church members. She loved to travel, shop, dance, and dress in high fashion. She was a dedicated and devoted member of New Greater Hope M. B. Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie J. Haynes and her previous church, New Progress M. B. Church.
Vassie was preceded in death by: her husband, Dennis Guyton, Sr.; mother, Corine Bowick; fa- ther, J. C. Lango; sister, Mary B. Ayers; and grandparents, Vassie and Ike Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving son, Dennis Guyton, Jr.; aunts, Nellie Clayton, Ola Mae Moore and Arie Dozier; brother, Bob Lango; nieces, Enethenia Lango-Salmon and Pa- tricia Ayers-Hendley (Derrick); great nieces, Chandra Valdez, Elegetta Salmon and Briana Ellis; great-great nieces, Chantelle Valdez and Chamira Valdez; great nephews, Warren Ellis, III, Bran- don Ayers-Ellis and Marcus Ellis (Katie); great-great nephews, Brandon (King) Ellis and Chris- tian Valdez; cousins, Shan Morris and family, Marie Graham and family, Vanessa Williams and fam- ily, Beverly Severson and family, Roy Ashley and family, Connie Ashley and family, and Mike Ash- ley and family; devoted friends, Hamilton Hunt and wife, Ethel and T. The years have come and gone and I still miss you as if you left today. My love grows by leaps and bounds daily. I had no idea missing you would be this painful. My heart feels like it will explode any minute, because of my loneliness for you.
True, you are gone, but I will love all of you and miss you forever.
