Suge Knight Fires Lawyers; Tells Judge He’s Going Blind
Suge Knight was in court on Monday, March 2nd.
Marion “Suge” Knight
spoke on his behalf during a brief court appearance in Los Angeles Monday...because he fired all of his lawyers.
The former “Death Row Records” CEO said he dis- missed the law firm of David Kenner, who was working on his murder case. He also told the judge he was going blind and receiving inadequate med- ical treatment in custody.
Superior Court Judge James Brandlin transferred the case to a new judge. That judge, Ronald S. Coen, said Knight was taken to the hos- pital before the case was called. It’s the third time Knight has been taken to hospitals from court.
Knight has been accused of hitting two men with his truck, killing one, during an al- tercation in late January. Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run.
Capt. Kirk Misses Mr. Spock’s Funeral?
To Be Shut Down
There’s a place Capt. James T. Kirk will not boldly go: To the funeral of his trusted science officer, Mr. Spock.
William Shatner did not make the Sunday service in California for “Star Trek” co-star Leonard Nimoy, who played the half-human, half-Vulcan officer on the USS Enterprise.
Shaftner was obligated to do a charity event in Florida on Saturday and could not make it to Califor- nia in time.

Winfrey revealed Harpo Studios in Chicago will be shut down by year’s end in favor of a transition to OWN headquarters in L.A.
This move will bring Harpo’s 26-year run in the Windy City to a close.
Around 200 employees will be impacted by the clos- ing of the Chicago offices. The report adds that a “small group” of Chicago employees will join OWN.

Twlight Star Still Going Strong With British Singer
Two years ago when Eve- lyn Lozada bailed on the “Basketball Wives Miami” re- union, we figured that she was pretty much through with the franchise.
Though it seems that “Basketball Wives Miami” is a done deal, spin-off “Basket- ball Wives LA” lives on. Inter- estingly, VH1 producers made one last attempt to include Lozada in the franchise. At least that’s what the mom and wife-to-be told fans on Twit- ter when asked if she’d be ap- pearing in the upcoming season of the LA spin-off; es-
Twlight star, Robert Pat- tinson has already put a ring on FKA Twigs.
The British singer received a promise ring in December and she was ecstatic to get it. Rob shared the happy devel- opment in his relationship status with a few select friends around that same time at an "I-want-to-marry-you- dinner."
The pals were also told, meanwhile, that the Twi- light heartthrob and Twigs were not officially engaged... yet.
Their relationship seems to be on the fast track and while Rob hasn't shared a proposal timetable with his

Kim K Begs Kanye Not To Get Face Tattoo
Kanye West was mo- ments away from getting a face tattoo — and joining the ranks of Mike Tyson, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and Rick Ross — when his wife stepped in.
Kim Kardashian, who recently inked a $100 million deal with her family, posted photos of West, 37, during a 4 a.m. tattoo session in Lon- don.
West originally planned to get daughter North West’s birth date and his late mother, Donda West’s, birth date inked on his head when Kardashian, 33, con- vinced him otherwise. “I talked him out of getting a face tattoo ... for now,” she captioned an Instagram photo of where the ink was in-

West chose Sang Bleu to
do his art, which ultimately ended up written in Roman numerals on his wrists.
“He got it on his wrists in- stead,” said Kardashian, who doesn’t have any tattoos of her own. “His mothers birthdate and North’s birth- date in Roman numerals.”
