Beyonce’s Formation Tour Mic Auctions For $11K; Lemonade Box Set Launched On Anniv.
Jay Z Sued For $10M For Using Roc Nation Logo
JayZisbeingsuedbya company that claims it owns the rights to the Roc Nation logo and that the rap mogul has been plastering the signa- ture paper plane image on Major League Baseball mer- chandise without its permis- sion.
According to reports, Iconix Brand Group filed a lawsuit against Hov for $10 million.
The company says in court documents that it paid $204 million for the rights to the paper plane image and now

controls its licensing.
Iconix takes issues with
the Roc Nation logo appearing on select MLB merchandise, including hats and jerseys. It is dragging New Era, Lids and the San Francisco Giants to court as well.
Jay Z has had his fair share of legal troubles around Roc Nation. Perhaps the biggest was when Rita Ora and Roc Nation sued each other last year. They reached a settle- ment in June with the singer announcing a new contract.
Beyonce is said to be the highest valued influencer on social media, but her power to attract attention reaches far be- yond her followers.
Take for instance the micro- phone she used on her 2016 Formation World Tour as well as the at the recent Grammy awards. It reportedly sold for $11,000 during an auction dur- ing the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Eventgoer Cece Hendricks purchased the microphone after losing out on a V.I.P. package to Coachella next year when Beyonce will headline the music festival.
In related news, Beyonce celebrates the 1-year anniver- sary of her Lemonade visual album by unveiling an ultimate collector’s item box set. The ‘How To Make Lemonade’ lim- ited edition set is available for pre-order now, and it retails for a hefty $299.99.
With an estimated ship date of this summer, the set will in- clude a numbered, collector’s edition coffee table book (600 pages), double vinyl LP, and

audio and visual album down- loads. The hardcover book will include never-before-seen pho- tographs from the making of Lemonade along with Bey’s personal writing and lyrics.
Released in April of last year, Lemonade was recently ho- nored with a Peabody Award.
Nick Cannon Mourns Loss Of Childhood Friend Killed In Mass Shooting
Nick Cannon is in mourn- ing after his childhood friend was killed in a mass shooting in San Diego, California on Sunday.
Monique Clark and six others were shot when gun- man Peter Selis opened fire in the swimming pool area of an apartment complex where they were having a birthday party.
Nick Cannon’s childhood friend, Monique Clark was killed by a lone gunman on Sunday.
The mother of 3 girls, later passed away in the hospital.
Friends say the 35-year-old was a good person who helped the homeless and volunteered often at food drives.
Selis, 49, opened fire killing Clark and wounding six other people. They say he was angry over a breakup and called his ex-girlfriend so she could hear him shooting strangers.
Chris Brown Reveals 40-Song Tracklist For
Upcoming Album
It appears Chris Brown’s long-awaited Heartbreak on a Full Moon album is one step closer to completion as the crooner shared the track- list for the project on Insta- gram Monday (May 1).
His post reveals that Heart- break on a Full Moon is a double album made up of 40 songs. The recently released “Privacy” and “Party” featur- ing Gucci Mane and Usher are among those listed on the sheet of paper.
Breezy first announ- ced Heartbreak on a Full Moon a full year ago. Since then, he dropped two mix- tapes with his OHB crew and has appeared on a number of features, including Jere- mih’s “I Think of You.”
The album was brought up in a recent exposé by Bill- board that said Brown was still working on it amid ru- mors of drug addiction. Label reps said they were hoping for
