Meeting
2018 State Fair Meeting Will Be Oct. 30
The 2018 Florida State Fair is seeking African American history exhibits to put on display in free booths provided by the Hillsbor- ough County School District. De- tails of the display requirements will be discussed in a meeting Monday, October 30, 2 p. m. in Room #283 in the Raymond O. Shelton Building, 901 E. Kennedy Blvd.
The 2018 theme will be “African Americans in Film, In- fluencers of Stage and Screen.” This will be the third year the Florida State Fair and the local school district have partnered with the community to present a “Tribute to Black History” during the entire time the Fair is open.
Local churches, sororities, fraternities, local artists and other individuals and organizations in- terested in placing displays at the Florida State Fair are invited to do so, February 8-19, 2018.
