MRS. ORA MAE ROBERTS
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Ora Mae Roberts who went home to her Savior on June 6, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 1 p. m. at Victory A. M. E. Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Rev. Michael B. Price, I, Pastor, officiating. In- terment will follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, Florida.
Mrs. Ora Mae Roberts was born on September 2, 1937, in Sturgis, Kentucky to Mrs. Kathrine Foreman.
Mrs. Roberts worked with the Home Association of Centro Asturiano Hospital. Most of her years, she was a homemaker.
Ora was preceded in death by: her mother, Kathrine Fore- man; husband of 56 years, Harry Louis Roberts; and daughter, Katie Morris.
She leaves to cherish memo- ries of her with: her sons, Harry Louis Roberts, Jr. (Lisa), Prince Henry Roberts (Vonn), Twiman Keith Roberts and Larry Leroy Roberts; grandchildren, Qquony Roberts, Harry Louis Roberts, III, Twiman Keith Roberts, Jr., Francina Wright, Jacob Roberts, Rebecca Sutton, Jennifer Martinez, Reba Sutton and Lawrence Martinez; great- grandchild, Jayquan Williams; other family members, Tracie Taylor, Betty Sutton, Mathis Saffore, Mildred Frazier, Ira Dean Biggs and Sheila Smith; a host of other sorrowing rela- tives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Friday, June 14, 2019, at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, from 5- 8 p. m. with the family present to receive friends from 6 – 7 p. m.

MR. JAMES DUVAL SAUNDERS, JR.
Homegoing Services in lov- ing memory of Mr. James Duval Saunders, Jr., who passed away on June 2, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 11 a. m., at Beulah Institutional Bap- tist Church, 1006 West Cypress Street, Dr. W. James Favorite, Pastor; Pastor Laura Ann Har- grove, Pastor of Speak Life Church, eulogist, officiating.
Mr. James Duval Saunders, Jr. was born to Virginia and James D. Saunders, Sr., Octo- ber 14, 1952, in Southern Pines, N. C. The family relocated to Philadelphia, PA, where James graduated from Germantown H. S., in 1970. He attended North Carolina Central Univer- sity, Durham, N. C., earning a B. A. degree, and was a member of Nu Gamma Alpha Brotherhood.
James began bus driving in Philadelphia with S. E. P. T. A. (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority) for many years. Upon his arrival in Tampa, Florida, he was em- ployed by HARTLine Transit Authority as a driver from Au- gust, 1988 to Sept. 2014. He served as President of Amalga- mated Transit Union for several years before retirement.
James was an avid FAN of the Philadelphia Eagles. He wore their jerseys and acces- sories with great pride.
He loved to listen first and then respond with compassion- ate words of understanding and wisdom. He will always be re- membered for his calm de- meanor. James also had a passion for jazz: Marcus John- son, Kim Waters and Roy Ayers are a few of his favorite artists.
After joining Speak Life Church, Brother James Saun- ders faithfully committed his life to Christ.
In Tampa, he married “Bar- bara,” his Inspirational Rock.
He leaves behind 5 chil- dren: Craig Duval, Aaron Duval, Dana and Kevin Duval Saun- ders. He is also the father of “Jamira;” siblings: Patrishia Avant, Lily Saunders, John Kirkland Saunders, Denise (Saunders) Greene; our pre- cious aunt and uncle, Mittie and Harrison Thompson; cousins, nieces, nephews and grands. He was LOVED by all he met and has left an ETERNAL legacy in our family.
A wake will be held on Fri- day evening from 6 p. m. until 8 p. m. at Speak Life Church, 1707 West Clifton Street, Tampa, FL 33603, Missionary Lisa Seay, Director of Operations.
Friends are asked to assem- ble at 10:45 a. m. at Beulah In- stitutional Baptist Church on Saturday.

MR. MICHAEL ELLIOTT JACKSON, SR.
Mr. Michael Elliott Jackson, Sr. of Tampa, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. Funeral services will be conducted Satur- day,June15,at11a.m.atThe Experience Christian Center Tampa, 6604 Harney Road, Suite B, with Pastor Dominic Watkins, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Michael Elliott Jackson, Sr. was a native of Tampa, Florida. He was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of King High School.
Michael accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of New Mt. Zion M. B. Church and later in life he joined Mt. Pleas- ant P. B. Church. He was em- ployed as a general laborer with Honeywell Corp., Tampa, FL; General Dynamics, Tallahassee, FL; and Metke’s Designs, Talla- hassee, FL. Michael also was a special operations tech at Team Toyota, Tallahassee, FL.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Bertha Jackson; fa- ther, Alexander Jackson; and his wife, Sylvia Mann-Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Michael E. Jackson, Jr. of Tampa; one granddaughter, Tyilyiah Jackson of Tampa; one grandson, Michael Jackson, III of Tampa; three sisters, Patricia Jackson of Tampa, Alesia Pride (John) of Tallahassee, FL and Victoria Jackson; one brother, Byron Jackson, Sr. (Brandye) of Hous- ton, TX; three aunts, Frances Walker of Tampa, Ruth Butler of Tampa, and Lutricia Neil of Col- orado Springs, CO; one uncle, Clarence Crumpler, II of Ock- lawaha, FL; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5 p. m. Friday, June 14 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.

Ms. Eldora “Nancy” H. Williams of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Fu- neral services will be conducted Saturday, June 15 at 11 a. m. at First Baptist Church of Port Tampa, 8306 Interbay Boule- vard, with Bishop Ronald J. An- derson, officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memo- rial Park Cemetery.
Ms. Williams was a native of Port Tampa, Florida and was ed- ucated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She re- tired from the School District of Hillsborough County, from T. R. Robinson High School. Mother Nancy was a member of Em- manuel Tabernacle Church, Port Tampa.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Irvin Harris and Marie Elder; son, Charles E. Williams; daughter, Delores A. Lovett; brothers, Ervin Harris, Jr., Lerome Harris and Noah Harris; and sister, Louvenia H. Florence.
She leaves to cherish her memory: daughters, Deborah J. Caldwell, Sandra Felisha Up- shaw (Nelson), Sandra Faye Harden (Lomard), Denise Ben- son, Charlene Wright, Shirley Williams and Patsy Foster; sons, Dennis Harris and Glenn Williams; son-in-law, Derrick Lovett, Sr.; grandchildren, Ernest Howard, Lerome Howard, Twanda George (Corey), Jayson Upshaw, Israel Howard, III, Angela Lang (John), Vickie Benson, Charnese Williams, Tiffeny Zlu (Bernard), Katrina Abreu (Uriel), Timothy Williams, Steven Wright, Tavish Williams (Brittany), Shauntel Harris, Demarcus Poole, Rayquel Long, Derrick Lovett, Jr., Darius Lovett, Shakira Nel- son, and Cameron Williams; 46 great-grandchildren; 6 great- great- grandchildren; sister, Flora Harris; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, special friend, Mamie Dawson; and her church family.

MRS. BARBARA JEAN WHETSTONE SAMPSON
Mrs. Barbara Jean Whet- stone Sampson of Tampa, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019. The Visitation will be held Friday, June 14 from 5 to 7 p. m. at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
Mrs. Barbara Jean Whet- stone Sampson was a native of Tampa, Florida, born to William Roy Whetstone and Willie B. Penny Whetstone. She attended and was baptized at College Hill Church of God In Christ. She received her early education in the public schools of Hillsborough County and earned her General Equiva- lency Diploma in 1977 in McK- inney, Texas. She worked as an Office Coordinator at the Sher- aton Grand Hotel/Interconti- nental Hotel, Tampa for over 25 years.
She was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Willie and Emma Penny; pater- nal grandparents, Fletcher and Clady Whetstone; and nephew, Antonio Powell.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Larry Sampson; her parents, William and Willie B. Whetstone; her children, Santonja Lane, Tiara Floyd (Anthony), and Satura Whetstone; sisters, Jacci Mc- Cloud and Wanda Powell; brothers, William Whetstone, Jr., Terry Whetstone (JoAnne), and Billy Whetstone; grandchil- dren, Tavaris, Darrian, Amari, Taliyah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, who she loved dearly, and a host of other relatives and friends.
