AIKENS
MR. WILLIAM FRANCIS ‘NED’
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. William Francis “Ned” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019, will be held Saturday, June 15th, 2 p. m. at Rivers of Life Church, 301 Lakewood Dr., Pastor Curtis A. Swafford, officiating. The in- terment will be held in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
William was born January 30, 1954, in St. Catherine, Ja- maica to the parents of Isaiah Francis and Merline Thomas. William was the true definition of a countryman: after leaving Jamaica, he took on many dif- ferent jobs. He worked as a longshoreman at the Tampa Shipyard, a short while later he began working for the Univer- sity of South Florida, where he retired of 25 years. Meanwhile, he maintained his own land- scaping business.
William had such a kind soul, always wanting the best for the next person. He never liked confrontations with anyone. He always enjoyed collecting his junk as well as listening to his reggae music.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Isaiah Francis and Merline Thomas; and brother, Arthur Roofe.
He leaves to cherish his pre- cious memories with: his loving and devoted wife, Barbara Fran- cis; children, Rickey Godbolt, Isaiah Francis and Kenyata Francis; goddaughter, Kerline Darkins; granddaughter, Lyric Godbolt; brothers, Austin Chambers, Sylvester Heslop and Sigismond Heslop (Angie); sis- ters, Claudette Francis-Rapis- arda, Lawlette Francis-Milton, Cynthia Roof-Laidlaw and Lesia Lewis; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day,June14thfrom5to7p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.
The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.

MR. LINFORD MCINTOSH ‘MIKE’
A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Linford McIntosh “Mike” of Tampa, who passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019, will be held Saturday, June 15th, 4 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating. The interment will be in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Linford was born December 13, 1943 in West Moreland Hill, Jamaica, to the late Harold McIntosh and Rosetta Davis McIntosh. He enjoyed going to the dog track, loved his scratch offs, and the game of cricket. He loved to cook, listening to music, dancing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and sister, Clementine McIntosh.
He leaves to cherish his memories: loving and devoted wife, Patricia McIntosh; chil- dren, Hubert McIntosh, Thomas McIntosh (Stacy), Nicole McIntosh (Norman McKinley) and Daniel McIn- tosh (Karen); grandchildren, Ta’Mesha McIntosh, Devonte Lake (Jennifer Echevarria), Thomas McIntosh, Jr. (Kia), Kaliph, Nikyla, Nikayla, Zabe- lon, Noah and Malachi McIn- tosh and Tashari Dillon; great-grandchildren, Josiah Simmons, Kiarra, Kirra McIn- tosh and Jaivyn Jashuri Lake; brothers, Frank and Micahel Davis; sister, Herolyn Davis; uncle, Earnest McIntosh; nieces, Debra Campbell, Shanique, Nickesha, and Shelly Davis; friends, Silbert Lewis, Herman Dale, Danny Dacres, Warren Byers and Jody Byers; and a host of other loving rela- tives and friends.

A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Lorene Wilson Thompson “Moma Thomp- son” of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, will be held Saturday, June 15th, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Elder Donald Ballard, officiat- ing.
Lorene was born January 14, 1948 in St. Petersburg, Florida, born to James and Salliewill Wilson. She at- tended Bell Shoals Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, playing Spades and Dominos.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Salliewill Wilson; sisters, Thelma McKay, Gwendolyn Jones, Celstine Shade, Car- olyn Daymon and Mellolean Wright; brothers, Willie Nel- son, Jr., Robert Lee Wilson, David Eugene Wilson, Luther Wesley Wilson and Kellum Theodus Porter.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her sisters, Annette Carr (Ervin Charles), Florestine Pierce and Catherine Yvonne Gillens (Terry Lawrence); aunt, Jessie Mae; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Thank you to Sun City Hospice House and staff, Bell Shoals Church of Christ, Brandon Hospital and staff, Tampa General and staff, Fusion Home Health and team; Nikia Mike, Monroe Parks and Tyesha Thomas; the family would like to offer a special thank you to, Larry and Yolanda McCrimmon; and special thank you to her niece, Avis Baker.

A Homegoing Celebration for Sister Dorothy Lee Walker of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 10 a. m. at Mt. Moriah P. B. Church, 1223 N. Nebraska Avenue, Pastor B. R. Fulton, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Sister Dorothy Lee Walker was born on March 27, 1928, in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Daniel Webster Robinson and Margaret Wilson. Sister Dorothy Walker attended a local boarding school in Talla- hassee, Florida. She moved to Orlando where she soon met and married Samuel Walker, Sr.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Samuel Walker, Sr.; daughters, Linda Sue Walker and Rosa Marie Walker; sons, Archie Webster Walker and Rubin E. Walker.
She leaves to mourn her memories with: her daughter, Rosa Lee Ford; sons, Samuel Walker, Jr. (Tina) and Clarence A. Walker (Con- stance) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other rela- tives and friends.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, June 14th from 5 to 7 p. m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p. m.

A Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Jerica Hodge of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019, will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Tammy Fowler, officiat- ing. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jerica was born in Ft. Myers, Florida, on May 18, 1979, to the late James and Reita Hodge. She was baptized in Jesus’s name at Calvary Temple as a child and later at- tended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. In later years she attended New Bright and Morning Star Baptist Church. Jerica loved being a team man- ager with the Tampa Hurri- canes Football and Cheerleader team and was a very dedicated mother to her children.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Reita Hodge; brother, Bruce L. Evans; and nephew, Nar- tavlean Evans.
