Mayweather's Net Worth Is $400M: They Don't Call Him 'Money' For Nothing
Dwight Howard Taken To Hospital After Feeling Ill On Flight
DWIGHT HOWARD
Hawks center Dwight Howard was hospitalized Sunday night after feeling ill on a long plane flight to At- lanta, according to multiple reports.
Dehydration is believed to be the cause, and Howard, 30, was released Monday morning, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitu- tion.
Howard had been in China last week as part of a promotional tour with Chi- nese shoe manufacturer Peak.
The 12-year veteran also posted several videos to social media that showed him work- ing out with a personal shoot- ing coach while abroad.
An Atlanta native, Howard signed a three-year, $70.5 million deal with the Hawks this offseason after playing three seasons in Houston.

Floyd "Money" May- weather has the net worth to back up his nickname.
Mayweather's net worth is $400 million, ac- cording to Celebrity Net Worth. The boxer made $250 million from his fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015. Mayweather's career earn- ings total around $700 mil- lion.
Mayweather was fitted for his first pair of boxing gloves at age 7. That's no sur- prise considering his dad, Floyd Mayweather Sr. and his uncle Roger Mayweather, were also boxers. Floyd Mayweather dropped out of high school to pursue a ca- reer in boxing, and by 1996 he had already won 3 Golden

Gloves.
He won an Olympic
bronze medal in 1996 and turned pro shortly after.
Mayweather gained recognition in the pro boxing world in 2007 when he de- feated Oscar De La Hoya for the WBC light mid- dleweight title. Mayweather retired from boxing in 2015 with a 49-0 record.
Faud charges over millions of dollars in lost investments. Charles Banks of At-
lanta was arrested Friday in San Antonio on two counts of wire fraud. Banks appeared in federal court and was freed on bond.
An indictment returned Thursday says Banks com- mitted fraud while with Gameday Entertainment.
The indictment says Banks encouraged the vic- tim, identified in documents as "T.D.," to loan or invest millions of dollars with him since 2012. Prosecutors say Banks misrepresented the

transactions.
Duncan filed a lawsuit in
January 2015 contending that a series of investments from 2005 to 2013 enriched Banks but were losing propositions for the two-time NBA MVP. Duncan alleged that he lost more than $25 million.
Hue Jackson Embarrassed By Browns' Bad Snap
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert was charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and failure to maintain his driving lane dur- ing a traffic stop near his off- season home in Atlanta last month.
According to a Fayette County Sheriff incident re- port, Shumpert, driving a rented Audi, was pulled over for a lane violation at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 10. An officer de- tected the smell of marijuana, and a search of the car turned up a small amount of the drug.
The incident report also said Shumpert admitted to the officer that he had smoked pot before driving the car.
There has been no court
Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson might just now be realizing what an up- hill climb he has in Cleve- land.
After the team let center Alex Mack walk this offsea- son -- a decision I agreed with given that a Pro Bowl center on this team would be a luxury item they couldn't afford -- they knew it was time to develop 2015 first- round pick Cam Erving into the long-term answer.
Erving ended up firing a snap over Robert Griffin, III's head against the Eagles on Sunday, which provided the Eagles with the breathing room they needed to pull away.
"I don't know if you get too many chances to keep

snapping it over the quarter- back's head," Jackson said Monday, via Ohio.com. "I think he knows that. It is un- fortunate. It is something that can't happen in a game. It is embarrassing, and it is not right. But at the same time, I think for the negative that Cam did, he is doing some good things, too. Early in the game, for the most part, our protection was flaw- less.

date set in the matter. The Cavs said they have been in contact with Shumpert and had no further comment.
The NBA has typically sus- pended players two games for a first DUI conviction or guilty plea.
The Cavaliers open train- ing camp Sept. 26. Shumpert, who attendedGe- orgia Tech, spends his sum- mers training in Atlanta.

Saints Release Former First-Rounder C. J. Spiller
The C. J. Spiller experi- ment is over before it ever re- ally started in New Orleans.
The Saints have released the running back, per the league's transaction wire. Spiller spent Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders on the inactive list.
Splitting time in Buffalo with unexpected breakout runner Fred Jackson, Spiller carried the ball 200- plus times in just two of his six seasons before 2016. His best season came when he was afforded the lion's share of carries, rushing for 1,244 yards and six touchdowns. A broken collarbone limited his 2014 season, his last in Buf- falo.
He ended the 2015 season -- his first with New Orleans

-- on injured reserve after a paltry 36 carries on the year. Saints management and head coach Sean Payton hyped Spiller in the offseason as being "noticeably different," saying his improvements in health and leg strength set him up for an effective sea- son.
Then, after a Week 1 healthy scratch, Spiller's place on the Saints was gone.
