Nelly just recently received diamond certified status for ‘Country Grammar’, and is also a regular on Hollywood Husbands with Kevin Hart and crew.
Nelly is the latest celebrity to be hit with a tax lien according to reports.
Uncle Sam is demanding a whopping $2,412,283 from the recently diamond-certified Country Grammar rapper with the possibility of seizing some of his property and assets. Sources say that he’s in the process of working it out with the IRS to resolve the issue.
Earlier this year, the Missouri Department of Revenue de- manded $149,511 in unpaid state taxes from the rapper from 2013.
Nelly is not the only high- profile musician to be hit with a tax lien over the course of their career.

RuPaul Charles has won an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Host’ For A Reality Competition Program.
Just two days after inking an overall feature films deal at 20th Century Fox, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris was hit with a more than $1M lawsuit claiming he ripped off the idea for the hit ABC comedy.
Bryan Barber a veteran music video director within Hip Hop music, having shot visuals for the likes of Out- kast, 50 Cent and G-Unit, Timbaland and even made his directorial motion picture debut with the Aquemini twins with 2006’s Idlewild. He is also the former writing partner

“Plaintiff is informed and be- lieves that at some point be- tween the end of 2006 and September 2014, Defendant Barris – using Plaintiff’s idea for the Original Untitled Script – wrote, developed and shopped the pilot episode for Black-ish without Plaintiff’s knowledge or authorization,” part of the complaint reads.
Good things come to those who wait. After being snubbed year after year, RuPaul Charles finally nabbed his first Emmy nomination this year for the eighth season of his long-running Logo TV se- ries RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Sunday, Charles upset the competition to earn his — and his show’s — first Emmy award at the Creative Arts Emmys as he picked up the Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Pro- gram statuette.

Rapper Bobby Shmurda, the man behind the popular “Shmoney Dance”—a craze all over America for a moment— copped a plea last Friday for seven years in prison just days before his trial on conspiracy and weapons charges was set to begin.
The Brooklyn-based artist, whose real name Ackquille Pollard, 22, was facing 25 to life as prosecutors maintained he was the “driving force” be- hind the GS9 gang, alleged to be responsible for dealing drugs and several Brooklyn murders.
Pollard pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of criminal posses- sion of a weapon, which the rapper maintained was a prop for a video.
Pollard’s debut EP, Shmurda She Wrote, was re- leased in November 2014. One month after the album’s re- lease, Pollard and 15 mem- bers of GS9 were arrested in the conspiracy bust, which netted 69 guns.
Two of his GS9 co-defen- dants, Chad “Rowdy

In taking the prize, Charles beat out the two-time defend- ing winner, Hollywood Game Night‘s Jane Lynch, as well as stiff competition from Steve Harvey and Ryan Seacrest as well as previous winners Klum and Gunn of Project Runway and Dancing With the Stars‘ Tom Bergeron,. Charles’ victory means that Seacrest wrapped his run on American Idol without getting an Emmy.
Bobby Shmurda real name Ackquille Pollard was sen- tenced to 7 years.
Rebel” Marshall, 24, and Nicholas “Montana Flea” McCoy, 21, also took the same deal after loudly debating it with their lawyers in the court- room.
A fourth defendant who was facing more charges, San- tino “Cueno” Broderick, was offered a 15-year deal. Broderick turned down the deal and will stand trial this week.

Outkast Performs At Dungeon Family Reunion During Atlanta Musicfest
Big Boi and Andre 3000 performed last Saturday night.
Outkast ran through a list of their hits at the ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on Saturday (Sep- tember 10) as part of the Dun- geon Family reunion that also brought together Goodie Mob (minus Khujo), Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown, Rico Wade, and other members of the Atlanta music collective.
Erykah Badu, A$AP Ferg, Ice Cube, T.I., Busta Rhymes and more also per-
formed during the day-long music festival.
“But it was the reunion of Outkast – especially since Andre 3000, in a knit cap, pewter pullover and funky, round glasses appeared to ac- tually enjoy himself — that kept the sold-out crowd on a steady buzz,” says a review of the concert from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
