MRS. CHRYSTAL LASHEA ANDERSON- RODRIGUEZ
Celebration of Life services for Mrs. Chrystal Lashea Ander- son-Rodriguez, who passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Fort Hood Army Base in Fort Hood, Texas. Chrystal was born on April 19, 1987 in Hillsborough County, Tampa, Florida, to Ben- nett Burks of El Paso, Texas and Angela Anderson of Tampa, Florida. She was educated in Hillsborough County Public School System and was a mem- ber of New Bethel AME Church in Tampa, Florida.
Her death was preceded by: brother, Bennett Anderson Burks; sister, Shaniece Quiones; grandfather, John Bernell An- derson; and grandmother, Sarah Kelly.
She leaves behind to fondly cherish her memories: husband, PFC Josue Rodriguez of Fort Hood Army Base, Fort Hood, Texas; four beautiful children, TA’onnie Chapman, Xavier An- derson, Zaiquan Anderson and Carrissa Brazelton of Tampa, Florida; grandmother, Janis Reese-Harden; brother, Chevelle Anderson, Tampa; sisters, De- vona Burks, Tampa, Iniesesha Quinones, El Paso, Texas; uncles, John Anderson, Rubin Ander- son, Tampa, Charles Burks, El Paso, Texas; great uncle, Rev. MS. PATRICIA BENJAMIN
Graveside services for Mrs. Patricia Lias Benjamin of Tampa, FL, will be held Saturday, October 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E Chelsea St, Tampa, FL with Rev. John Brown, Eulogist.
Mrs. Patricia Lias Benjamin was born on December 18, 1954, to the parentage of Mr. Rubin Lias and Mrs. Rosa Bell Farmer Lias, in Winter Park, Florida. Patricia was the youngest of three children and a delight of her beloved parents.
She transitioned at home on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in Tampa, Florida.
She was a graduate of Winter Park High School and Florida State University. In her chosen profession of Social Work, she worked for the Red Cross and is well remembered for her innova- tive and dedicated efforts in her work with the military and the AIDS crisis in the 1980s. She con- tinued her career working in pro- grams that served the elderly.
She was a faithful member of Citylife Church of God in Tampa, Florida. Prior to her failing health she was diligent in her volunteer activities and ministries within the church.
Mrs. Benjamin was preceded in death by: her parents, Rubin and Rosa Lias.
She leaves to cherish her memories with: a loving and de- voted husband of 43 years, Leerone Benjamin; daughter, Christina Benjamin, Alexandria, VA; son, Leerone Benjamin, Jr., Tampa, FL.; two brothers, Julius Lias and his wife, Nanny, Coving- ton, GA and John Lias and his wife, Grace, Apopka FL; two nieces, Veronica Johnson, At- lanta, GA, and Natasha Lias, Or- lando, FL; special friends, Judith Freeman, Ossie Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
There will be a viewing on Fri- day October 1, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. —- 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Fu- neral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

PROPHETESS THELMA FLOWERS
Prophetess Thelma Lee Flowers transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, Septem- ber 11, 2021 at 9:19 p.m., in Tampa, Florida. A Homegoing Service will be held on Satur- day, October 2, 2021, at 12 noon at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, with Apostle Elroy Huff, Offici- ating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, Florida.
Thelma Lee Flowers was born November 20, 1953, in Lakeland, Florida, to Margaret and Lamon Flowers, Jr.
The family moved to Tampa, Florida, when Thelma was young, and Thelma was edu- cated in the Hillsborough County School System. She at- tended Hillsborough Commu- nity College, where she received her certificate as a Nursing As- sistant. Thelma went on to work as a Certified Nursing As- sistant and Home Health Aide with several hospitals and healthcare facilities in Tampa.
Thelma’s love of God was in- stilled in her at an early age. Thelma raised her own family in Brown Memorial C.O.G.I.C., and she later became a Li- censed Ordained Minister for Christ.
Thelma enjoyed testifying to others about the love of God and salvation through Jesus Christ. She volunteered on the prayer line of the Christian TV Network and spent many days in the streets of Tampa working to bring lost souls to the King- dom of God.
Thelma’s ministry wasn’t only in preaching the gospel,
but also in living the Word of God every day. Thelma became “Momma” or “Grandma” to many people that were drawn to her kind and giving spirit. She shared her time and her talents to uplift and encourage others in their daily life.
Thelma was a devout prayer warrior whose interces- sions covered her family and her church.
Thelma was preceded in death by: her mother, Mar- garet Flowers and her father, Lamon Flowers, Jr.
Left to cherish precious memories of her are: her five children, Sheryl Hornsby (La- jace), Latavia Horne (Christo- pher), Lawrence Copeland, Jr., (Alicia), Shereika Copeland (Amonty), and Nehemiah Nel- son; 12 grandchildren, Isaiah Rivers, Joseph Rivers, Jr., La- toya Smith (Brandon), Terreal Rivers, Josetta Rivers, Dia- mond Caldwell, Britton Pas- coe, Lawrence Copeland, III, Kendro Copeland, Keishawn Williams, Sincere Raiford and Legacy Brooks; five great grandchildren, Steve Barnum, Jamie Barnum, Joesia Rivers, Ja’layie Rivers and Keishawn Williams, Jr.; nine siblings, Eloise Carr (Allen), Patricia English, Shirley Flowers, Be- linda Fedrick (Kelvin), Lora Ann Harrison (Clinton), Mar- garet Ann Harrison, Angelina Perry (Leonard), Anthony Flowers and William Perry; one aunt, Delores Valdez; a host of nieces, nephews; spe- cial friend, Jerome Parham; friends and fellow children of God.
There will be a viewing on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Wil- son Funeral Home from 3 p.m. –8p.m.

MR. MICHAEL HARRIS
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Michael Harris, 51, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on September 16, 2021, will be held on Saturday, Octo- ber 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Wil- son Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33605, with Apostle James Howell, of Cathedral of Faith, Officiating. Mr. Harris will be interred at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Michael Harris was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, to the parentage of Louis and Rosalee Harris on October 20, 1969. He went to school in Tampa and graduated from Gaither High School.
Mr. Harris was employed in the Environmental Service De- partment for Advent Health. He enjoyed fishing, wrestling and cooking.
Michael was preceded in death by: his father, Louis Har- ris and mother, Rosalee Walker Harris.
He is survived by: sisters, Delores Hardy and Margaret Harris; brother, Charles Harris (Pam); nephews Kevin Harris (Tyangela) and Calvin Harris; nieces, Telishia Hardy (Troy), Briana Campbell (Jamal), Bri- anca Campbell, Brittany Camp- bell (Floyd), Tia Marks (Michael), Kyla Harris, Kailiece Harris and Destiny Harris; great nieces and nephews, Nevaeh Youmans, Floyd Youmans, IV, Novah Youmans, Gabrielle Marks, Mazi Marks, Mahari Marks, Skylar Puryear and Kayi Puryear; extended family, Johnny (Betty) High- smith; beloved friends, Tim Mc- Gowen, Betty McGowen, Tim McGowen, Jr., Ricky Ro- driguez, Laura, Dave, Gambino, Pugliese and other relatives and friends.
