MS. KATHY A. LOWE (DERR)
Funeral Services for Ms. Kathy A. Lowe (Derr), who passed away, will be held Satur- day, October 2, 2021 at 11 a.m., at Life in Christ Community Church, 9706 N. 26th Street, Tampa, FL. The pastor Rev. Arthur Randall, officiating. In- terment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kathy was a native of Tampa, FL born May 3, 1956 to the parentage of Freddie and Cleo Lowe. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. Kathy was a graduate of Hillsborough High School, class of 1974.
Kathy was a Direct Support Staff member of Florida Men- tor. She loved her family dearly and was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. Kathy was a music lover and one of her favorites that she loved to hear was country music.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Freddie Lowe; grandparents, Wilmer and Lillie Bell Johnson, Eddie John Lowe, and Allean Lowe; sister, Fredricka Lowe-Jackson; aunts, Earnestine Washington, Shirley Johnson, and Annie Lee Cobb; niece, Ayeshia Harrison; nephews, Mannisenee Jackson and Ayan Harrison.
She leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Ronald J. Derr, Sr., LFD; mother, Cleo Lowe; children, Temeeka Thompson, Eugene Akins, Lexus Derr, and Kersha Derr; 10 grandchildren, Fredricka, Elijah, Eunique, Mia, Eugene, Tyler, Shamira, Tamira, Kanoa and King; 3 great grandchildren, Dallas, Fantasia, and Terrariah; sisters, Gail (Archie) Harrison, Lavonne An- derson, Karen (Leonard) Hart, and Edwina Sheppard; nieces, Ayanna Harrison and Terrencia Nichols; nephews, Reginald Hunt, Jessie (Keena) Jackson, Antwan Bynum, and Terrence Nichols; special friend, Valencia Graham; god sister, Sharon Thompson, and a host other sor- rowing relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, at Life in Christ Community Church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

MR. CECIL NICKERSON
Mr. Cecil Nickerson passed away on September 13, 2021, in a local health care facility.
Cecil was born February 20, 1946, in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late Monroe Nickerson and Georgia Mae Nickerson. Cecil moved from Georgia at a young age, making Tampa his home. He was educated in the Hillsbor- ough County School System. Cecil was a longtime employee of The City of Tampa in the Sanita- tion Department.
His memories will be cher- ished by: daughter; Roberta Broadway (Duquesne), Tampa, aunt, Wilda Cleveland; sister, Pearl Pierce (Albert) all of Geor- gia; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Tonisha, DeAndrea, Brianna, and Willie; 12 great grandchil- dren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. John Henry “Bump/Super Fly” Davis, Jr., of Tampa, Florida, passed away, Fri- day, September 10, 2021.
John was a long-time resident of Tampa, FL.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ories: his five children, Jeffrey Woods and companion, Tony N. Render, and his wife, Tonya, La- tangala Jenkins, her husband, Terrell, John A. Davis, Jr., and wife, Catherine, and Lukia C. Davis; his companion, Kimberly Weston, as well as a host of grand- children, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, to love and remember him.

MS. BARBARA ANN COPELAND
Ms. Barbara Ann Copeland, of Tampa, Florida, passed away, Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Funeral Services will be held, Sat- urday, October 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Ray Williams Funeral Home Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave., Tampa, FL 33606. Minister Jim- mie Solomon will officiate. Inter- ment to follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33610.
Ms. Barbara Ann Copeland was born June 25, 1954, in Albany, Georgia to parents, Emory and Ernestine Solomon. She was the second child of four girls born to this union.
Growing up, Barbara attended the public schools of Hillsborough County. She was a graduate of Howard W. Blake High School, Class of 1972. She continued her education at Hillsborough Com- munity College, graduating with a degree in Computer Science.
Ms. Copeland was employed with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department as a Com- munity Service Officer, working in various departments throughout the years. She retired in Decem- ber 2017.
She was a member of Mani- festations of His Word Ministry (Evangelist Darlene Wilson), and periodically, attended Revealing Truth Ministries, under the late, Pastor Gregory Powe.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Emory and Ernestine Solomon; her sister, Gloria Solomon, and a son, Shyrone Nel- son.
Her life will forever be cher- ished by: her children, Chedinia Floyd (Kenneth), Keenis Copeland, (Gregoria), Zarkissa Copeland (Matthew); step daugh- ter, Lisa Hall; grandchildren, Chardell Burns, Rosario Tolbert, Chardrick Copeland, Shambra’ White, Chandi Steplight, Keyona Copeland, Jamarkis Allen and Darnell Wilson; step grands: Ter- rence Long, Devon Scott, Eulisa Hall, Chiquida Scott; great grands, Serenity, Michael, Mario, Treyvion, Ma’khi, Nevaeh, Har- mony, Jaliyah, Tyron, Akeela Lyn- don, Terrance, and Taj; sisters, Patricia Anderson and Denise Nellons; nephews, Jamarion, Robert, Terrance and Brandon; niece, Tanyale; special friend, Luqman Abdul Ali; longtime friends, Barbara Davis, Alice An- drew and Tina Johnson; extended family, Kimberly, Tanika, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Fredrick Antonio Doby, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 11th, 2021.
Funeral services will be held, October 2nd at 2:00 p.m. at Peace Progressive M. B. Church with Rev. Harold A. Doby, Jr., officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E Hanna Ave., Tampa, FL 33606.
Mr. Doby was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa for 33 years. He attended Wharton High School and was em- ployed as a Certified Nursing As- sistant at Palm Terrace ALF.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Harold A. Doby, Sr., Roland and Gloria Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Rachel Jones; his father, Harold A. Doby Jr.; and his wife, Frances Doby; grandmothers, Ceola P. Batts and Sharon Doby; broth- ers, Harold A.
