AIKENS
MR. WILLIE “B” MCDANIELS, SR.
A Graveside Celebration for Mr. Willie “B” Bobby McDaniels, Sr., of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on September 11, 2021, will be held on Thursday, September 30th, at 11 a. m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Ave., Tampa, Florida, Deacon Ned Lyons, Jr. officiating. The interment will follow.
Willie was born April 12, 1955, to James and Mildred McDaniels. He was loved by all who came in contact with him, and always had a beautiful smile.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; grandparents, A. B. and Alice Frederick; sister, Cyn- thia; brother, Anthony Griffin.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: son, Willie “Brick” Jenkins- McDaniels (Angie); grandchildren, Aricana, Taleia, Willie, III, Lay-Lay; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Michael, Anthony (Linda), James (Diane); sister, Saundra Lyons (Ned); nieces, Shantel, Sherrell, Tamika (Kobe), Talesha, Sheena Mosley (Aaron), Danielle, Mildred, Angie, Ayeisha, Tyneisha (Remo); nephews, June Bug, Anthony, Jr., James, III, Marquell; cousins, Pa- tricia (Gerald), Ricky, Kim, Elaine; 37 grand and great-grand nieces and nephews; best friend, “John Boy,” and friend, Yhkeisa Williams.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29th from 4 to 7 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home. The family and friends are asked to meet at Rest Haven on Thursday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MRS. GWENDOLYN A. MITCHELL
A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Gwendolyn A. Mitchell of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Sun- day, September 19, 2021, at 3:30 p. m., she earned her wings and peacefully departed this life to rest in her eternal home in Glory, will be held Friday, October 1st, 11 a. m., Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Pas- tor Earl B. Mason, Sr., officiating. The interment will be held in Or- ange Hill Cemetery.
Gwendolyn A. Mitchell was born (Gwendolyn A. Jones) on March 16, 1943, in Tampa, Florida. “Gwenn,” as she preferred to be called, was the second daughter of the late, Edward Claude Jones and Flossie Mae (Bethea) Jones. Gwenn was educated in various Hillsborough County Schools, cul- minating her graduation at Mid- dleton High School in 1961. While at Middleton High School, Gwenn enjoyed playing the Clarinet and participating in the high school marching band. Gwenn earned an Associate’s of Arts degree majoring in English with a minor concentra- tion in French.
Gwenn joined the U. S. Army in 1971 serving in the Women’s Army Corps. Her military career allowed her to travel across the U. S. as well as overseas. Gwenn was a member of the Bible-Based Fel- lowship Church of Temple Terrace, where she served in the food pantry ministry, helping to feed families in the local community.
Gwenn was preceded in death by her father Edward Claude Jones and Flossie M. Jones; sister, Car- olyn Jones Burgess; niece, Yolanda D. Jones; brothers, Robert Wilson, James Wilson, Leon Harvey Jones, and Nathaniel Jones.
Gwenn leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Skyra Mitchell- Young and devoted son-in-law, Rudy Young; devoted grandchil- dren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends to share her memories.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 1st from 4-8 p. m. The fam- ily and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the serv- ice. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MRS. SONYA LENITA WILLIAMS
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Sonya Lenita Williams of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, will be held on Wednesday, Septem- ber 29th, 1 p. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Rev. James Richardson, officiating. The inter- ment will be held in Rest Haven Me- morial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Sonya Lenita Williams was born on August 31, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Fred and Annie Lois Wynn. Sonya received her edu- cation in Hillsborough County Schools, where she graduated from Tampa Bay Technical High School in June 1979.
She was united in marriage with Art Williams on December 29, 2004. She was employed as a Postal Clerk with the United States Postal Service for over 40 plus years. Sonya was a loving, devoted, caring and support- ive mother, wife, grandmother, sis- ter and aunt. She is known for her excellent cooking skills and loved showcasing her cuisine on social media. She was a giver and loved helping and taking care of people.
She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized at an early age.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Fred and Annie Lois De- Vance Wynn.
She leaves to cherish her mem- ories: a loving husband, Art Williams; a daughter, Raeneisha McDaniels; a son, Gregory Law, Jr. (Tiffany); Sha’Marae McDaniels (as a daughter); Stephanie Williams, stepdaughter; grandchildren, Jaiden Law, Imani Law, Kendall Johnson, Kayla Johnson, Lyric Law, Janay Williams and Jennifer Williams; two brothers, Freddie L. Wynn, Jr. (Cheryl) and Marquis F. Wynn (Bertha); two sisters, Althea M. Wynn and Enga Myrick (Carl); cousin, Tia Brown (Everett); aunts, Brucie Mae Brown, Orine Black, Dorothy Burgess, Clara Rosado, all of Auburn, Alabama; and Ellen Tali- ferro of Altamonte Springs, Florida and Lillie Reed of Las Vegas, Lettie Jones (Rev. Johnny), Angeline Russ of Marianna, Queen Holden of Miami, Laverne Pope (Philip) of Vir- ginia; uncles, Lawrence Holden (Melody) of Alabama, and Charles Holden of Marianna; nieces, Yvette Wynn, Phyteri Wynn, Marquisha Larkin (Kevin); nephews, Donald Dowridge, III and Freddie L. A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Betty Cole of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 11 a. m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.
Betty Cole was born Decem- ber 1, 1955 in Thomasville, Florida to the late Ulysees and Martha Cole. She enjoyed danc- ing and drawing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and sister, Letha Boone.
She leaves to cherish her pre- cious memories with: her loving and caring daughter, Laytona Cole-Hicks; grandchild, Markette Trimble; brother, Mark Cole; aunt, Margie Brown; uncle, Arthur Cole; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will truly miss her.
