Man Charged With Stabbing His Father To Death
USF Student Arrested For Lying About Robbery
A Tampa man has been ar- rested and charged with the murder of his father. The inci- dent took place Thursday night at their residence.
According to the Tampa Po- lice Department, Damon D. Larry, 43, and his son, Damon Timothy Larry, 23, became involved in an argu- ment at their home at 2608 E. 18th Avenue.
At some point during the argument, the incident be- came physical. Witnesses told police that at one point, the fa- ther attempted to back away, but fell. At that point, Damon Timothy Larry allegedly continued to strike his father.
At some point during the al- tercation, the older man was stabbed several times. He was

transported to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

was arrested at the scene with- out incident. He is being held at the Hillsborough County Jail without bond.
The University of South Florida Police Department has arrested a student and charged her with filing a false police re- port.
On Tuesday night, Ms. Fatou Gueye reported to the Univer- sity of South Florida Police De- partment that she had been a victim of a strong armed-rob- bery. She told police that she was outside the Interdiscipli- nary Science Building when two white males approached her and took her jewelry.
Ms. Gueye told police the men engaged her in a conversa- tion then took her backpack and her necklace. All of her property was recovered at the scene, po- lice said.
During a follow up interview with the 19-year-old student, police said she admitted that no robbery had occurred.
Ms. Gueye was released from the Hillsborough County Jail after posting a $500 bond.
Ms. Gueye is also one of four students who recently reported receiving threatening messages

on Election night while in their respective rooms. That investi- gation is continuing, police said.
The threats began on Tuesday, November 8th, several students were the targets of negative comments. Someone wrote on a wall “Trump 2016, MAGA, you gotta go back.”
Some students received messages slipped under their doors while others were identi- fied by name. Police are contin- uing their investigation pertaining to the racist issues.
Two Men Take Phones From Business
Man Who Broke Into Business Wearing Tutu Arrested
Two unknown African American men entered a local business and removed three cell phones. The phones were valued at $2,320.
According to police, the theft took place Tuesday evening, shortly before 6 p.m. The two men entered the AT & T Store, 217 Brandon Town Center Drive.
The men took the three phones from the display case near the entrance and fled the scene.

The first suspect is de- scribed as being between 18

and 25 years of age, 5’9” to 6’, and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He had short black hair, a beard and mus- tache.
The second suspect is de- scribed as also being between 18 and 25 years of age, 5’6” to 5’9”, and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. He had short black hair, and was clean shaven.

A Hillsborough County man is facing several charges in con- nection with a burglary The of- fense occurred on November 1st.
According to the Hillsbor- ough County Sheriff’s Office, Jevon Ryner Jamison, 22, has been identified as one of the men who broke into the Farmer’s Market, 1718 E. Fletcher Avenue.
Jamison has been identified as the suspect who was wearing the tutu.
Police said the suspects en- tered the business by breaking the glass door. Once inside, they are fruit and drank soda.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 48- year-old woman and charged her with Driving Under the In- fluence. She was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.
According to police, around 1 a.m., Friday, a Hillsborough County deputy observed a Toyota Corolla traveling east- bound in the westbound lanes of W. Linebaugh Avenue. The deputy conducted a traffic stop at Linebaugh and Williams Road, and made contact with Ms. Jacqueline Moly, of Tampa.
