Chris Godwin Gives No. 12 Jersey To Tom Brady
ESPN Moves Up ‘The Last Dance’ Michael Jordan Bulls Documentary To April 19
MICHAEL JORDAN
ESPN is coming through for the people.
The network has bumped up the release date for “The Last Dance” to April 19, the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand reported on Monday night.
“The Last Dance” is a 10- part documentary series about Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
Marchand says the an- nouncement will be made of- ficial on “GMA” Tuesday.
The documentary was originally set to be released in June, but there have been calls across social media for ESPN to bump up the release date to help satisfy the needs of sports fans.
Adrian Clayborn Gets 2-Year Deal From Browns

LeBron James, Kevin Durant Among Few NBA Players Already Receiving 90 Percent Of Their Salary
Tom Brady is beginning a new chapter of his leg- endary career at age 42, but the quarterback is keeping the same jersey number.
Brady wore No. 12 throughout his incredible run with the New England Patri- ots, and that number was oc- cupied by one of the best players on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster last sea- son. Fortunately for Brady, star wide receiver Chris Godwin had no problem giving up No. 12. The Bucs announced on Tuesday that Brady will wear No. 12 and Godwin is changing to No.
CHRIS GODWIN
14. Godwin said recently that he is “very passionate” about the No. 12, and he would have kept it if Brady was indifferent. The receiver said he has worn the number since high school.
The current work stop- page has complicated finan- cial matters for most NBA players, but LeBron James and several others are better off than the majority.
Players are reportedly re- ceiving paychecks on April 1 but have not been assured further payments. Roughly 90 percent of NBA players will have received less than half of their 2019-20 salaries by the time that the April 1 checks go out because they are on 12-month payment plans.
However, James and several other Klutch Sports clients had negotiated “all-

you-can-get” deals that pay out 90-plus percent of their 2019-20 salaries by April 1 as part of an accelerated six- month payment schedule. Also included in this group of roughly 20 select players are Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irv- ing, and Blake Griffin, among others.
Dak Prescott Contract Talks Deadlocked Over Guaranteed Money, Length
Lakers Likely To Keep Dwight Howard For Another Season?
The Dallas Cowboys are trying to get a long-term deal done with quarterback Dak Prescott, but there are a few key issues yet to iron out.
According to ESPN’s Je- remy Fowler, there are two main issues holding up a Prescott deal right now. The first is guaranteed money, specifically how much Prescott will get in the first two years of the deal. The bigger issue is contract length.
The Cowboys like to give out long-term deals, but

Prescott wants a shorter contract so he can take ad- vantage of a widely antici- pated rise in the salary cap in the coming years.
Dwight Howard has performed admirably in his first season back with the Los Angeles Lakers, perhaps even well enough to stick around for another year.
Speaking this week on “The Hoop Collective” pod- cast, ESPN NBA insider Brian Windhorst said that he thinks the Lakers are like- lier to keep Howard around to try to “squeeze another year out of him” than they are to choose “a mystery with De- Marcus Cousins.”
DWIGHT HOWARD
The 34-year-old Howard holds averages of 7.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game on an elite 73.2 per- cent from the field and has willingly accepted a reduced role off the bench.
Tyrod Taylor Says Chargers Will ‘Turn A Lot Of Heads’
If He Is Starting QB
The Cleveland Browns have made an addition to their defense.
The Browns and Adrian Clayborn agreed to a 2-year deal. The contract is for $6 million and worth up to $7 million, according to reports.
Clayborn is a rotational pass rusher who had four sacks last season for the Fal- cons. He will turn 32 and likely be part of Cleveland’s rotation on the defensive line.
The deal is an upgrade over the $2 million Clayborn made last year with Atlanta.
The Los Angeles Chargers seem likely to stick with Tyrod Taylor as their start- ing quarterback heading into 2020, and the veteran is con- fident they won’t regret it.
The Chargers are entering a rebuilding phase of sorts now that they have moved on from Philip Rivers, and it would not be a surprise if they select a quarterback early in the draft. However, they still have plenty of talent on their roster, and Taylor is

confident he can keep the team in contention if his number is called.
