The Weeknd Dedicates 'After Hours' To Everyone Pitching In During COVID-19 Pandemic
Jermaine Dupri Regrets
Shortly after dominating both the Billboard 100 and 200 charts with the fervor con- tained on his fourth studio album, After Hours, The Weeknd is stepping back and giving a salute to those indi- viduals who are tackling the coronavirus head-on.
“When I started making this album, I never imagined it

would be released as we face a worldwide pandemic,” The Weeknd tells TMZ as they de- bunk an erroneous report about higher-ups at his label being a roadblock in the process. “I always felt that music helped me in hard times and I hope that this body of work can do the same for oth- ers.”
Jermaine Dupri wishes he would’ve stuck with TLC early on their careers. While an- swering questions on the Black Love Instagram account, JD said he regretted stepping away from the diamond-selling trio to devote all of his atten- tion to Kris Kross.
“I regret not trying to do TLC at the same time as Kris Kross,” he said. “I was only 19 years old at the time and didn’t believe in myself as a person, as someone having the band- width to have both artists. I was putting so much energy into Kris Kross, and I was only giving TLC maybe 30 to 40 percent, not even 50 per- cent.”
He continued, “I felt I was spreading myself thin by trying to provide both of these groups what they needed to become the success they eventually both grew to become. So I eliminated myself from TLC being a group that I actually in- troduced to the world.”

Dupri previously detailed his past with TLC in an inter- view for TV One’s series Un- censored.
“TLC was my group before they got signed to LaFace,” he revealed. “Left Eye was living at my house when I found Kris Kross. The backwards clothes came after we started getting more and more songs.” He also credited TLC’s Left Eye for Kris Kross’ signature style.
Ice Cube just might have the cure to fill the NBA season void – a reality show version of the BIG3 made with the pro- ducers of Big Brother.
On Monday (March 30), Cube responded to the host of ESPN’s The Jump Rachel Nichols’ interview with for- mer Boston Celtics’ teammates Paul Pierce and Kendrick Perkins who were discussing the show’s concept.

shows love to @thebig3,” he wrote. “Much respect.” He then confirmed the show’s possibility, acknowledging Pierce’s enthusiasm for the idea while addressing Perkins’ safety concerns. “@paulpierce34 (Inglewood’s Finest) is always welcome and @KendrickPerkins don’t worry. If it ain’t safe to do, we won’t do it. But if there’s a way, there’s a will...”
