Chris Carson Reveals How Russell Wilson Recruited Him Back To Seahawks
CHRIS CARSON AND RUSSELL WILSON
For all the talk about Russell Wilson’s dissatis- faction with the Seattle Sea- hawks, it sounds like he continues to act like some- one very committed to the organization.
Seahawks running back Chris Carson, who re- signed with the team on a multi-year contract, said in an interview that Wilson had heavily lobbied him to return to the organization when he became a free agent.
“He was definitely in my ear,” Carson said of Wil- son, via John Boyle of the
team’s official website. “We talked about it before the season ended that we didn’t want this to be the last year we played with each other. He definitely was in my ear during the offseason.”
Things were bad enough during the offseason that Wilson’s agent was publicly naming potential trade desti- nations. Now, weeks later, Wilson has worked to re- cruit at least two players back to the Seahawks. For all that chatter about a trade, it’s pretty clear now that he is going absolutely nowhere.

spa and Equinox Hotel, resi- dents-only gym, playroom, business center, lounge, din- ing room and terrace with catering services.
AARON DONALD
An attorney representing Aaron Donald said on Friday that the Los Angeles Rams star actually tried to help the man who accused him of assault, and limited video footage ap- pears to support that claim.
A man named De Vincent Spriggs filed assault charges against Donald earlier this week after he says Donald at- tacked him outside a Pitts- burgh nightclub early Sunday morning. Spriggs’ face was left badly injured following the incident.
Donald’s lawyer, Casey White, told media outlets on Friday that Donald actually saved Spriggs from further in- jury. White said police have reviewed video footage and agree that it does not show Donald assaulting Spriggs.
A Pair Of Kanye West's Sneakers Are On Sale For $1 Million
Kanye West superfans soon can own a piece of the rap legend’s sneaker collection — for a steep price.
Sotheby’s has listed the sample pair of Air Yeezy sneak- ers West wore on stage at the 2008 Grammys for his per- formance of “Hey Mama” and “Stronger.” They’re currently valued at $1 million — more than any sneaker previously listed with the auction house.
The size-12 sneakers sent fashion fanatics into a frenzy at the time, as they were uniden- tifiable save for the trademark Nike swoosh on the side.
 Marshawn Lynch Says He
 Considered NFL Return In
2020 With Buccaneers
Marshawn Lynch did not play in 2020, but appar- ently he was interested enough in another NFL come- back to at least talk about it.
Lynch recently told “SportsNation” on ESPN+ that he spoke to Tom Brady about potentially playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2020 season.
“I was specifically speak- ing to Tom Brady and the Bucs. That’s who I was talking to,” Lynch said.
MARSHAWN LYNCH Lynch added, however,
that he is not in football shape and is no longer entertaining a return.
Bucs Add Giovani Bernard To Backfield
The Tampa Bay Bucca- neers have managed to keep the band together after win- ning Super Bowl LV. Now they're finally recruiting new members.
On Tuesday, the Bucca- neers signed ninth-year run- ning back Giovani Bernard, who played his first eight seasons in Cincin- nati. Bernard, who ran for 416 yards and caught 47 passes last year, was released by the Bengals last week.
Tampa Bay has been busy in free agency but until now had worked exclusively on whittling down a long list of players who could have de- parted from the Super Bowl roster. Among the key players

from the 2020 team who have re-signed with the Buccaneers are Shaquil Barrett, Lavonte David, Leonard Fournette, Chris Godwin, Rob Gronkowski, Ryan Succop and Ndamukong Suh. Quarterback Tom Brady also agreed to a con- tract extension.
