MRS. MARY ETHEL MORRIS-PITTMAN
A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary Ethel Morris- Pittman of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, will be held on Satur- day, April 24th, 1:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Vivian St. Louis, officiating.
Mary Ethel Morris Pittman was born October 10, 1949, in Milan, Georgia. She graduated from Middleton High School. She loved taking care of others, cooking and baking.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie and Corine Morris; daughter, Kaieshia Morris; sisters, Chris- tine Former and Bernice Brown; brothers, Allen Morris and David Earl Morris; and uncle, Paul Height, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories with: her children, Shannon Bradley, Jarvis Lynch, Antwan Lynch, Kai Sanders, Andrew Wilson, Garrick Wilson and Jerome Morris; grandchildren, Adri- ana, Naijae, Armaud, Courtney, Kayla, Jada, Nyahasia, Jason, Kayden, Jae’mya, Jarrah, Jarvis, Jacari, Jayceon, Jamela, Alicya, Kaylanie, Sydney and Bryce; great grandchildren, Amari, Nai’Aja, Aamir, Amryn, Lauryn, Bry’Leigh, Naijae, Jr., Kenzley, Maliyah, Messiah, Xaela, Jayden and Skylar; brother, Jerome Morris; sisters, Willie Mae Crawford (Noble) of Texas, Stephanie Price of Geor- gia and Shirley Morris of Tampa; bonus daughter, Shalonda Barrett; friends, Vi- vian St. Louis, Kwis Sanders, Ms. Wanda and Delores Nathan.
The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Fri- day, April 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.

MRS. ALBERTHA BROWN BRIGHT
A Homegoing Service for Mrs. Albertha Brown Bright, 86, of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on April 16, 2021. Service will be held Saturday, April 24th, 10 a. m. at The Center For Mani- festation, 3102 E. Lake Ave., Rev. Godfrey Brown, officiating. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.
Albertha Brown Bright was born on January 31, 1935, in Quitman, Georgia, to parents the late Moton and Maggie Sim- mons-Brown. She was a dedi- cated member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Seffner, Florida. She loved cook- ing, serving and singing in the choir, reading her Bible and solving word puzzles.
Albertha was preceded in death by: her husband, Parrish Bright; brothers, Willie Moton Brown, Andrew Brown, Lepden Brown, Sterlee Brown, Jimmie Lee Brown, and Westley Brown; sisters, Maaggie Hamlet, Nancy Williams, Selima Jackson, Ruby Neal, Clara Bell Brown, Annie Givens, Lillie K. Davis, Leola Walker, and Rosa Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald C. Bright and wife, Patri- cia and Derwin K. Bright and fi- ancée, Margaret, all of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Shawn- tae M. Thorton, Atlanta, GA, La Shawn and Quinton Campbell, Palmetto, FL, LaTeshia Bright, Brandon, FL, La Toya Godwin, Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Zyreia and Zemetrick Larry, At- lanta, GA, Jayden Johnson Pal- metto, FL, Malkayla Campbell, and Jovan Campell, all from Pal- metto, FL; a special daughter-in- law, Cheryl Bright; and brother- in law, Pettis Bright, Monticello, FL. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Brown, Bright, Smart and Watts families, and many dear friends.
Viewing is at Aikens Funeral Home, April 23rd from 4 to 8 p.,m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.

MR. FREDDIE LEE LAWRENCE
A Homegoing Service for Mr. Freddie Lee Lawrence, who passed-away April 12, 2021, will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St., Tampa, FL 33610, with Bishop Rev. Willie Strange, Jr., Officiating. Inter- ment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL 12:30 P.M., Monday, April 26, 2021.
Freddie Lee Lawrence was born February 6, 1955, in Bain- bridge, Georgia. He graduated from Chamberlain High School and joined the United States Army immediately afterwards, where he served for 10 years. His last job was in the position of cook for the Veterans Administration Hospital.
Freddie loved his family. Later in life he began to experi- ence issues with his health.
Freddie Lee Lawrence was preceded in death by: his parents, James F. Lawrence, Sr., and Annie M. Lawrence, and his sis- ter, Shirley Pullins.
Freddie leaves to cherish his precious memories: a devoted sis- ter, Barbara Jones, and brother- in-law, Edgar; sister, Betty Hicks (Eddie); brothers: James Lawrence, Jr., (wife, Francine) all of Tampa, Sylvester Johnson (wife, Patricia) of Fort Washing- ton, Maryland; auntie, Pearlie Mae Strange and a host of other cousins of Miami, FL, the Strange Family; special friend, Patricia McDaniels; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

MS. ANNIE PEARL CHOCTAW
A Homegoing Celebration in loving memory of Ms. Annie Pearl Choctaw, who passed- away April 15, 2021, will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 8119 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Rev- erend Eugene Garnett, Pastor, Officiating.
Ms. Annie Pearl Choctaw was born to William Harris and Ver- lener Choctaw Lawrence June 24, 1954, in Greenwood, MS. She later moved to Tampa, FL and at- tended Hillsborough County Public Schools in 1972. Annie graduated from Chamberlin High School.
She worked as a receptionist at Sulphur Springs Health Clinic. Annie Pearl enjoyed family and spending quality time with them every chance she got. She also enjoyed reading and cooking, which were a few of her hobbies. Annie Pearl had a big heart and was always willing to offer a helping hand when it came to others.
Annie Pearl joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Eu- gene Garnett. Her one-way flight took off on April 15, 2021 at 3:05 P.M., perfect landing. The pearly gates swung-open and it arrived right on time.
She was preceded in death by: her father, William Harris, and mother, Verlener Choctaw; four brothers: Willie James Lawrence, Jr., Tommy Choctaw, Sylvester Lawrence, and Henry Lawrence; three nephews: Willie Steward, Donald Lawrence and Robert Lawrence, Jr.; niece, Earnestine Williams; two aunts, Ruby Harvey (Robert) and Lil- lian Winfrey (Overate); sister-in- law, Geraldine Lawrence.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Steve Bouie and wife, Feanja, and Joseph An- derson of Tampa, FL; two sis- ters, Thelma Williams of Tampa, FL and Helen Crawley Chicago, IL; four brothers: Robert Lawrence, Greenwood, MS, Eddie Lawrence and wife, Kathy, Frank Lawrence, Tampa, FL, and Riley Lawrence of New York; aunt, Luccile Levy, Chicago, IL; god daughter, LaCo- ria (Que); like a sister, Ophelia Robinson; A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other rela- tives and friends, and the Sulfur Springs Community.

SGM RHONIE JEROME SCOTT, JR.
Sergeant Major Rhonie Scott of Seffner, Florida, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021. Pri- vate funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021. There will be a public viewing Friday, April 23 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Harmon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th Street, Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will be 11:30 A.M., Monday, April 26, 2021 at Florida Na- tional Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
Rhonie Jerome Scott, Jr., was born June 13, 1928, to Rhonie, Sr., and Ella (Bostic) Scott in Statesboro, Georgia. He joined the family as their only son and was the brother to Hettie Scott Bur- roughs and Magnolia Scott Williams.
He was raised in rural Bul- loch in a farming family and at- tended Valley State College before committing to a career in the U. S. Army.
SGM Scott was a member of Keeney United Methodist Church in Riverview, Florida. He was a proud member of the United States Army for 30 years and lived in many cities and countries abroad. He was a de- voted and caring husband to his wife Anna R. Garcia-Scott for 61 years.
He was preceded in death by: both parents and sisters as well as his wife, Anna R. Scott; son, Rhonie E. Scott; daughter, Cynthia Avery and son-in-law, Gerald D. Williams, Sr.; five brothers-in-law: Alex Bur- roughs, Uster Williams, Edward Garcia, Robert Garcia and Regi- nald Sisk; two sisters-in-law, Doris Sisk and Doretha Reynolds-Redding.
SGM Scott is survived by: three devoted daughters: Rhonda Scott, Brenda Scott- Williams and Barbara Scott; proud grandfather of six grand- children: Colette Avery, Timo- thy Avery, III, Antonio Avery and wife, Pernishia, Gerald D. William, Jr., Erica Pearson and husband, Joshua, and Meghan N. Williams; great-grandfather of ten children: Terrance, Tim- othy and Trinity Avery, Karmen and Ashley Cliett, Aaliyah and Alesha Holt, Jaxon Pearson, and Ryan and Jordan Avery; his many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and, extended family and friends from Keeney United Methodist Church.
We are requesting that all visitors please follow the CDC guidelines as mask are a re- quirement.
