time. In her latter years, Annie re- located to Tampa Florida in 1958. Annie became a dedicated worker at Tampa General Hospital for 22 years until she retired at the age of 62. When her health allowed, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and traveling.
She was preceded in death by: mother, Eugenia; father, James; husband, Brooker T. Fields, Sr.; son, Brooker T. Fields, Jr.; 7 sisters and 5 brothers.
Mrs. Annie L. Fields leaves to cherish precious memories with: her loving daughter, Nora Lee Sanders from Estill, SC; grandchil- dren, Cassandra Sanders, John La’Don Taylor, Darrell T. Peacock, Marvin A. Jones, Delirie Powell (Michael), Yvett Ellis, Lindann Fields, Skinethia Agee, Malynda Sykes, Bernietta Sherrod (Albert A. Jr.), Annanora Fields and Brooker T. Godfrey; a host of great- grand- children; sisters, Fibbie Holman, Estill, SC and Daisy Marie Williams, Pineland, SC; devoted nephew, Johnny Mack Warren; daughter- in-law, Cecelia P.    DEACON DAVID WILLIAM WALKER
A private Home Going Celebra- tion will be held for Deacon David William Walker, who went home to his Savior on April 13th, 2021.
Deacon David William Walker, was born July 11, 1929, to the late David W. Walker, Sr., and Annie Mae Campbell-Byrd in Quincy, FL.
He moved to Tampa at an early age under the care of his grand- mother, Cora Campbell. He attended schools in Hillsborough County, graduating from Don Thompson Vo- cational High School (now known as Blake High School), where he stud- ied Automobile Mechanics.
Deacon Walker was a Veteran of the United States Army and he was honorable discharged in 1953. Dur- ing the time of his enlistment, he was deployed to Korea to serve in the Ko- rean War in a fight for democracy.
During his life time he developed a very strong work ethic including a truck driver, a franchised owner/op- erator Chevron Service Station and he was also owner of a neighborhood grocery store. His last place of em- ployment was driving for the Hart- line Transportation System.
Deacon Walker was introduced to and confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Over 50 years ago, Deacon Walker became a diligent, loyal, and faithful member and ser- vant of St. Matthew Missionary Bap- tist Church, serving in several capacities.
Deacon Walker was preceded in death by: his wife of 65 years, Dea- coness Margaret Walker; parents; Grandmother; sons, Elder Robert Douglas. Sr., and Jackie Douglas; grandchildren, Karen Taylor- Williams and Willie Walker, Jr., son- in-law, Deacon Rowe Taylor, Jr., and 6 siblings.
Those left behind to cherish fond memories of him are: 3 sons, Willie J. Walker, Sr., wife, Patricia, Rev- erend David G. Walker, wife, Patri- cia, Minister Ronald Walker, wife, Brenda, 3 daughters, Deaconess Car- olyn Taylor, Janice Walker Bower, husband, Carrol and Yakima Dou- glas; a host of grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 20 great, great, grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; 2 daughters-in-law; a grand number of nieces, nephews, cousins, St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church Family, including, Pastor W. D. Sims, and many, many other rela- tives and friends, too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing on Friday April 23rd, 2021 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. Due to the current CDC restrictions, we are asking that you use the visitation as an opportunity to pay your final respect.
The funeral service will be pri- vate, but will be streamed on Satur- day at the Wilson Funeral Home website (www.wilson-funeral- home.com). This can be found on Deacon Walker’s obituary page.

MRS. ANNIE L. FIELDS
Mrs. Annie L. Fields entered into eternal rest on Saturday April 17, 2021 after health complications. There will be a viewing on Saturday, April24th,2021from1–5p.m.at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. Interment will be made in Sandhill Cemetery, Estill, South Carolina.
Annie Lee Mitchell Fields was born in Garnett, South Carolina on September 19, 1927 to the late Euge- nia Miller Warren and late James Taylor. She was raised by her grandmother, the late Fibbie Mitchell. She was educated in the public schools of the Hampton County, South Carolina.
Annie was married to Brooker T. Fields, Sr. who preceded her in death. Annie was united in fellow- ship at an early age at First Thank- ful Baptist Church for a period of
