MRS. EUGENIA GLORIA KAITELL
Homegoing Services for Mrs. Eugenia Gloria Kaitell, who passed away on Novem- ber 28, 2018, will be held this Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 12:30 p. m., at First Univer- sity Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2225 East 109th Av- enue, Tampa, Florida 33612, with Pastor Romell Charles, officiating. Interment will fol- low in Rest Haven Memorial Park. Friends are asked to as- semble for the processional at 12:15 p. m.
Eugenia Gloria Kaitell was born on August 25, 1970 in Freetown, Sierra Leone to Mr. Paul and Mrs. Joyce Comba.
Commonly known as Gloria, Eugenia migrated to the United States of America in 1987. On October 30, 1989, she married Henry Koroma, Sr. Together, they had two chil- dren, Mr. Henry Koroma, Jr. (29 years) and Ms. Silina Ko- roma (25 years)
She earned a degree in Culinary Arts from Newberry College in Boston, MA. Be- sides working as a chef, Gloria was a published author of the Christian children’s book, God’s Favorite Toy. She was an advocate for education in Sierra Leone, as well as a com- passionate humanitarian who helped everyone — the young, old, sick, and poor.
As a woman after God’s own heart, she was a devout worshipper at Stroudsburg Seventh-Day Adventist, as well as a leading coordinator for the church’s community cen-
ter.Eugenia was a praying mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and a friend to many people.
She is survived by: her beloved parents; brother, Paul Comba, Jr.; sister, Admira Marah; husband, Henry, Sr.; son, Henry, Jr.; daughter, Silina, and granddaughter, Aiyanah Barnes-Koroma (age 8); grandchild Toni Lee (age 5).

Crime Stoppers Offers Reward In Fatal Hit And Run
Man Charged With Sexual Battery On 11-Year-Old
  Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward for in- formation pertaining to a fatal hit and run accident. The acci- dent took place last week in Plant City.
According to the Plant City Police Department, three men had left Fuego Bar & Grille and were walking eastbound on State Road 574. Police said it is unclear if the men were walk- ing on the shoulder of the road or on the sidewalk.
At approximately 10:55 p.m., an unidentified driver struck the three men and con- tinued eastbound on State Road 574. Police and emer- gency personnel arrived at the scene and provided medical as- sistance to the three men.
Miquel A. Hernandez, Jr., 21, of Plant City, died at the scene as a result of his in- juries. His two companions, whose names have not been re- leased, suffered non-life threat-
ening injuries. Police said the two victims that survived the crash are 20 and 21 years old respectively, and are from Dover.
The vehicle is possibly a General Motors SUV, between the years of 2007 and 2014. The model could be a Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe, or a GMC Yukon. Its color is pearl white metallic and it will have damage that includes the head- lights, turn signals and rear view mirrors.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the person involved in this case.

The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man and charged him with sexual bat- tery. The victim is an 11-year- old girl.
According to police, 39- year-old Weldon Leenard Goss was arrested last week. Deputies said the incident took
place December 9, 2017, in Land O’ Lakes. Goss knew the girl, police said.
A warrant for his arrest was issued in April 2018. Goss was charged with sexual battery on a victim under the age of 12.
He is being held without bond.
Driver In Fatal Crash Faces More Charges

 The driver of a stolen car is facing additional charges after a woman involved in an accident dies. The accident took place on November 24th and the victim died December 1st.
According to the St. Peters- burg Police Department, the driver of the stolen vehicle has been identified as 20-year-old Carl McKinley. He is now fac- ing the charge of vehicular homicide in addition to the pre- vious charges.
Police said Ms. Yalanda Speights died at noon on Sat- urday, December 1st.
Ms. Speights and her mother, 61-year-old Mae Speights, were injured in a traffic accident. Ms. Mae Speights was seriously in- jured.
The accident took place at the intersection of 18th Avenue South and 25th Street, South.
The women were driving in a PT Cruiser when their vehicle was struck by a Hyundai Sonata that had been reported stolen.
Police said an officer had been flagged down and told that a carload of men in a Hyundai had pointed a gun at someone. The vehicle was later observed traveling at a high rate of speed, on 18th Avenue, South. How- ever, it was not being pursued by police.
Shortly after the officer was flagged down, the accident oc- curred. The cause of the acci- dent remains under investigation.
At the time of the accident, McKinley, 19-year-old Lazarius Faulk; Jaquez Rouse, 18; and Clifford Washington, 19, were all taken into custody.
All four are facing felony charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle.
