Donald Glover Headed To Europe For Farewell ‘Childish Gambino’ Concert
Solange Knowles Named
Donald Glover is to per- form as Childish Gambino at Britain's Lovebox festival for a farewell gig before retir- ing his rap alter ego.
The actor, writer, and mu- sician revealed last year that his next Childish Gambino album, the follow-up to 2016's Awaken, My Love!, would be his last under the stage name.
Bosses at the London event announced 34-year-old Don- ald as one of this year’s Love- box headliners. It marks the only gig to date that Donald has announced since he con- firmed plans to retire Child- ish Gambino in January.

Grammy-winning artist Solange Knowles has been named the 2018 Harvard Foun- dation Artist of the Year. The foundation is the university’s of- fice inter-racial, inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations, and honors the nation’s top artists and scientists each year.
Last year, Solange earned the American Express Impact Award at the 2017 Billboard Women in Music Awards as well as being named one of Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year. Knowles has continuously used her platform to provide con- structive and empowering mes- sages and advocate for the representation of all.

Birdman Finally Releases Cash Money Documentary
Honored At Global Spin Awards;
Birdman’s Cash Money Records documentary has been released. Before Anythang: The Cash Money Story is available now on Apple Music following months of delays.
The project was originally an- nounced in August 2016 and was scheduled to drop in the fall. That release date was then pushed back to May 12, 2017, which also came to pass with no film. No updates about the doc- umentary emerged until last week when a new trailer for the film was uploaded online.
Before Anythang is the first production by Cash Money Films, the film imprint of Cash Money Records. The movie, which is narrated by Birdman, documents his life and provides insight into how his powerhouse label was created.

Sean Kingston's lawsuit against bosses at a nightclub over an alleged altercation has been dismissed after the rap- per stopped showing up to court.
The "Beautiful Girls" star was at the Penthouse Night- club & Dayclub in Los Angeles in 2016, when he was report- edly approached by two men who beat him up and stole a $300,000 necklace from around his neck.
