92nd Birthday Celebrated
A retired childcare owner celebrated her 92nd birthday on May 16, 2019. Mrs. Lelia Aldridge was the honored guest at her home when several former students and many parents stopped by to wish her “Happy Birthday!” Her granddaughter, Shea Speights, former student Ebony Mitchell, and others planned the party and re- union for many.
Mrs. Aldridge operated Aldridge Childcare Center for a number of years.
Mrs. Aldridge, center, is shown with her daughter, Shirley Speights and grand- daughter, Shea Speights. Her great-granddaughter, Ghea Foxx was also in atten- dance, as were her sister, Lillian Brown; nieces, Betoria Watson and Birdie Underwood; and many, many others.
