MR. DUVAUGHN ‘CHARLIE BOY’ SHAHEED
Mr. Duvaughn “Charlie Boy” Shaheed was born on February 2, 1962 in Rochester, NY to La- teefah (Andrew) Wajd. Aunts Pauline Wilson, Bobbie Brinkley and Ruby Roberts were his “Vil- lage” that helped shape and sup- port him early in life.
Duvaughn was an adoring fa- ther to two natural children, Du- vaughn and Lateefah. Later he married Gloria and became a fa- ther to her two children, Alvero and Brodie.
Duvaughn worked in the labor and service sector field, however, he was best at con- tributing his spirit of generosity to whomever needed it. He would give you the shirt off his back and always wore a smile.
On October 1, 2017, Du- vaughn transitioned. His memo- ries will be cherished by: his wife, Gloria Shaheed; parents, Andrew and Lateefah Wajd; chil- dren, Duvaughn and Lateefah Shaheed, Alvero Jackson, and Brodie Hamilton; brothers and sisters, Paulette (Woodie) Wood, Hassan (Brandi), Basil (Kelly) and Naimah Wajd; grandson, Amir Shaheed; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Brother Duvaughn Sha- heed’s visitation will be held Fri- day, October 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.
m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12 p. m., at Abundant Life Enrich- ment Church, 4701 E. Hanna Av- enue, Tampa, FL 33610. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Tampa.

MRS. JOYCE FACEY
Mrs. Joyce Facey, age 91, of Valrico, FL, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Funeral serv- ices will be conducted Sunday, October 8, at 4 p. m., at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, FL. Interment will be in Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Nassau, NY, on Thursday, October 12, 2017.
Mrs. Joyce Facey lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and David Mann, in Val- rico FL. She now joins her hus- band, Eric, who predeceased her 29 years ago.
Joyce was born in Trinidad and spent her younger years in Guyana, South America. She emigrated to the United States of America in 1973. She had a full life and left a rich legacy of love and grace to her 12 chil- dren; 5 sons-in-law; 4 daugh- ters-in-law; 47 grandchildren; 5 grand sons-in-law; 6 grand daughters-in-law; 38 great grand-grandchildren and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.
She will be sorely missed by her family and a host of friends who love to call her Grandma Joyce.
The remains will repose on Sunday, October 8 beginning at 4 p. m. and the family will re- ceive friends at Ray Williams Funeral Home.

MR. JAMES ‘JUNEBUG’ SINGLETON, JR.
Homegoing Services for Mr. James “Junebug” Singleton, Jr., who passed away September 19, 2017, will be held Saturday, Oc- tober 7, 2017 at 5 p. m., at Har- mon Funeral Home, 5002 N. 40th St, Tampa, FL, 33610. Rev. Joseph Lewis, officiating. Com- mittal will be made at the chapel.
Mr. Singleton was born Au- gust 15, 1945 to the late Georgia Mae Haines and James Single- ton, Sr. of South Carolina. Later in life “Junebug” moved to Tampa, FL, where he lived his life to the fullest every day. God gave him the strength.
“Junebug” was really big on family, he just wanted it his way ornoway.Ifyouaskhimhowhe was doing he will tell you, “I’m doing what I can, while I can,” while giving you the smirk that we all know so well. “Junebug” was a loving, wonderful uncle, brother, father and awesome and devoted friend to all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Georgia Mae Haines and James Singleton, Sr.; sisters, Mildred Singleton, Nora Green and Janet Smith; niece, Francine Russell; and nephew, Jamell “Tank” Johnson.
“Junebug” leaves to cherish his loving memories: his chil- dren, Jessica Johnson McCollum (Kelvin) and Christopher John- son; siblings, Mary Russell, Clif- ford Singleton and Jerome Singleton (Sandra); and a host of nieces, nephew and family mem- bers that love him dearly.
