In 1991 she relocated her family to Tampa, FL, settling in Johnson and Kenneth Courts and continued her life’s passion of empowering the youth in her community. She partnered her Youth Affiliation Club with an- other local organization, the Young Lions. Through her hard work and dedication to the com- munity, she affectionately be- came known as “Mother”. “Mother” first attended Glorious Church of God in Christ for sev- eral years before joining Interna- tional Harvest Center Church of God.
She served as a proud mem- ber for more than 20 years. She was faithful, hardworking, sup- portive of all ministries and in- strumental in the church’s advancement as a light in the community.
“Mother” Tamara Smith was preceded in death by: her par- ents, Presley and Doreatha Joines; sisters, Risha and Shurieda Marshall; brothers, At- tenaire Joines, Keith Marshall, Meylert Marshall, and Presley Joines, Jr.; son, Billye Smith; and nephew, Allen C. Marshall.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother, Thomas Marshall; children, James Bal- lard, Jr., Purette Ballard, Tamieko Ballard, Nikki Smith, and Nakia Gonzales (Tarus); grandchildren, Antoine, Raulin, Antaire, Marcus, Quincy, Tarus, Anteal, Taylor, Damen, Braz, Quasar, Kiace, Nakaila, Amir, and Silas; 16 great grandchil- dren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other rela- tives, her Church family and friends.

Mr. Howard Allen Bostick, Sr., of Tampa, passed away Sun- day, March 7, 2021. A Graveside funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33610 with Elder Cor- reggio Reaves, Pastor of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, offici- ating. Interment will follow.

Mr. Howard A. Bostick, Sr., was a Tampa native. He was a graduate of Blake High School, Class of 1962. He retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools as a Compliance Monitor.
He leaves to cherish his mem- ory: children, Howard A. Bostick, Jr., (Nicole) and Angela G. MRS. VERNELL CLOVESKO
Mrs. Vernell Clovesko, of Cleve- land, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, March 13, at 11:00 a.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Tampa, FL, 33605 with Bishop Thomas Scott, officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Vernell Clovesko was a native of Tampa, FL. She moved to Cleve- land, OH after graduating from high school and resided in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
Vernell accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Mayfield Methodist Church, in Chesterland, OH. She was a member of the Or- pheus Choral Society of Cleveland and owner of The Jonell Center.
Vernell and Joseph Clovesko celebrated over 36 years of mar- riage.
She was preceded in death by: sister/best friend, Doris Best Tol- liver.
Vernell leaves to cherish her lov- ing memories: devoted husband, Joseph Clovesko; brother, David Best (Deanne); special friend, Nancy Greathouse; special niece/care- giver, Wendy Tolliver; and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrow- ing relatives and friends.

MRS. MAGGIE MAE HARRIS
Mrs. Maggie Mae Harris, of Tampa passed away Friday, Febru- ary 19, 2021. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 27 at 9 a.m. at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel, 301 N. Howard Ave., with Reverend Bruce E. Garman, Sr., of- ficiating. Interment followed in Rest Haven Memorial Park Ceme- tery.
Maggie Mae Harris was born to the union of John Henry and Van- dene Johnson, in Ocilla, Georgia. She lived there until moving to Tampa in 1959.
Maggie was joined in matri- mony to the late Jonas Harris, Sr. on September 23, 1947. This union was blessed with five children.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jonas Harris, Sr.; her parents, John Henry and Vandene Johnson; and siblings, Mary Fran- cis Love and Nelson Johnson.
Maggie accepted Christ at an early age in Georgia. She was a member of Mt. Tabor M. B. Bap- tist Church when in arriving in Florida. She later moved her mem- bership to First Union M. B. Church, where she was a faithful member for over 40 years. She worked diligently with their Mis- sion Board and attended church regularly until her health declined.
She was employed for a short while as CNA working for Veazy Nursing Home and Maria Manor.
Maggie was an avid fan of sports including the Bucs and her beloved Tampa Bay Rays attending their games when she could. She was a collector of dolls with a large display of various dolls and figurines. She loved to cook and spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchil- dren.
Maggie leaves to cherish her loving memories: children, Husher L. Harris, Jonas Harris, Jr., (Au- drey), Magdalene Warmack (Thomas), Clifford Harris and Dar- lene Harris; grandchildren, Kerrie Harris Pabon, Husher L. Harris, II, (Carmalita), Thomas B. Warmack, Antonio R. Gary, Tiffany Warmack Good (Gene), Zena Harris Knight, Clifton Thomas, Tiffany Thomas, Nicholas Harris, Tamari Harris, Tieara Harris and Dillion Harris; sister-in-law, Ola Mae Thomas; and great nephew like a son, Rev. Tony Harris (LaTonya); god grandchildren, Wachena Woodard, Marcus Holton, and Marcel Brantley, (Chanty); special friends, Edith Creary, Athea Chappell, Egertha Green, Lauranell Mosley, Brenda Williams, and Pearl Harris; and a host of great grands, great, great grands, nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends.

MOTHER TAMARA B. SMITH
Mother Tamara B. Smith, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021 with family by her side. A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Interna- tional Harvest Center Church of God, 5512 N. 47th Street, Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Francis M. Maxwell, officiating.

Tamara was a native of Harlem, New York, born to Pres- ley Joines, Sr., and Doreatha Grayson-Joines.
She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1961 and furthered her education by earning a Masseuse License. Tamara’s ca- reers include: Norden Defense Systems, Norwalk, CT, a proud en- trepreneur of a local Café, Rock Springs, WY, Mobile-Q Food Truck, Merry-Go-Round Thrift Store and a Massage Therapy Business.
Her life’s passion was raising her children and advocating for resources for underprivileged youth in her Communities.
She also found joy in teaching kids about Christianity, and the importance of building a strong spiritual foundation. Being a de- vout Christian, she regularly at- tended Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, where she held many positions, but her passion was
